Coper welding blongs to the past now is thermofusion pipes or insertion valves, because the copper pipes and connectos bocomes thinner when the clorinated water or hot water passed throgh them.

I wonder how long the seals in the press fittings will really last. 100 + years for copper soldered joints.
No way a fitter would like propress in real life . Definitely paid to do a commercial . Awesome option for repair though . It has its place .
It's not the soldered joint that fails it's the copper. Hard water destroys metal pipes and fittings. PEX can have plastic fittings as well as the pipe.
Attn plumbers. A torch is a really cool tool that all plumbers should have. 🙁😉🙄

The first tool is the dumbest thing I have ever seen for waterpipe.
You could not work with that tool above your head or in a tight situation, thats where most work is done for plumbers.
Lots of commercial building do not want pro press fitting cause they leak quicker that soldering.
Pro press is great though, old news however.

That expansion tool is a waste of time...they are going backwards in time...the pvc ratchet pipe cutter suck also...why would I want to pump a ratchet 9 or 10 times when normally it’s just one? And don’t get me started with the sharkbites...lol...
