      Power Cleaner life hack. Harbor freight 4 gallon $20 sprayer. Stick you syphon hose in the sprayer backpack and you are set. Hose doesn't get tangled and no kinks in the hose. Not only should Ryobi have designed a better bag but it should have come with some sort of cage (maybe an old milk crate) to keep the thing from rolling around like an oversized IV bag.

    Great video and review.
    This unit seems pricey but as you pointed out it comes with $360 worth of batteries.
    It also comes with a $40-50 turbo nozzle so that definitely makes for a free battery charger,pressure washer hose and gun.
    It’s simply a matter of whether or not the cordless feature is advantageous for the individual or not.
    For a mobile detailer,definitely advantageous,but for a detailer working strictly in his shop or a diy person,I think that Ryobi’s other electric pressure washers would fit the bill perfectly.
    Thank you for showing this equipment.
    I’m definitely going to get an Uber flex hose for my pressure washer.
    Please keep the videos coming

    I have this pressure washer in a cart setup with two 7 gallon water tanks. One of the tanks has regular water and the other di or distilled water. I use an mtm wand and mtm hose. The mtm foam cannon produces decent foam with di water. I always have enough to wash a full suv per charge and with both water tanks. I paid a lot for my setup but I don’t have a driveway to wash my car at. If I wouldve had the space I would probably have a kranzle

    I received my pressure washer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!

    Just a thought is the bag supposed to hang on that handle or No?

    • @Amouselives
      @Amouselives Год назад

      This is actually Ryobi's intention. There is an included velcro strap that most people think is to just hold the included hose when you wrap it up, but when in use, this is on the handle part and holds the water bag when the bag is in use. Surprised this didnt get noticed, but was intuitive to me when purchased. Even Ryobi when this model released showed in their demonstrations on RUclips etc, to use the velcro to suspend the bag over the unit.

    After watching the video a secind time, I am getting a feeling you don’t like the water bag 😄. Mine do not leak at all, but it does like to flip over. Bought a 25L camping waste water tank (eith wheels) with a valve fittet with a quick connector. Good portable solution. And btw, no need to bleed the top of the bag when in use, the bag will collapse as water is drained.

      @@BoSsNexMove I purchased mine in a Biltema shop - Swedish car/outdoor chain. May not be available where you live. Look for something similar in an outdoor shop. Remember you need a valve at the top of the tank to let in air - or tank gets sucked rather flat 🙂
      I found a lid for my tank with a 3/8” threaded hole fitting a threaded water valve. Added a “Gardena” male quick connector to the valve. kind if same at the top minus quick connector for air in

    @IMJOSHV - This thing is incredible..but very likely overkill for a weekend warrior like myself. We'd do better with the 1600psi Ryobi you've reviewed before, I think.
    But in this video, you've created something that I think those non-professionals like myself could really use.
    Consider that I wash my car once a week.. it makes no sense for me to get a de-ionizer system for purified water. They cost over 400 and with the replaceable media... not cost effective for a non-professional, I'd think. Plus, even if I did get it, the media would go bad before I used enough to warrant replacement, as I've read that the media can.. well, putrify or grow gunk if left wet for long periods.
    But all that said, we do fall victim to hard water. So... is there any reason we couldn't build that 5 gallon cube, adapt it to run with the Ryobi 1600, and then fill it with distilled water for the final rinse? At a dollar a gallon at the grocery, we'd spend 20 a month on distilled water... doesn't even come CLOSE to what we'd spend if we got the DI system.
    How WOULD we adapt it to the Ryobi 1600? Does the garden hose use the standard 3/4? Do you have any thoughts as to what we'd need to pull that off?
    Heck, you could even assemble it as a kit and sell it yourself.. I'd buy it from you!
    Regardless, excellent videos; I also have your site bookmarked and am waiting for the MJJC unbranded to come back into stock.

    hi good day, I always watch your reviews and i love seeing those foams on the car, because of this video I got so interested on buying this ryobi 36v(austrailan version I think) pressure washer, and I recently purchased it and its a very handy and good solution for me cause I dont have source of electric power on my parking. I just have a question about it cause I used a foam cannon on it with 1.25 orifice and I get a very runny soap result, I ordered a 1.1 orifice and waiting for it to arrive but on this current performance of it with 1400 psi and 1.2 to 1.3 gpm will it produce good and decent foam when I put the 1.1 orifice on my foam cannon? more power to your channel and to your business, gonna wait for more reviews

    I'm on the fence between this Ryobi (newer 6ah battery whisper version $599) vs Active 2.0. I live in a town house don't have my own driveway. There are cars parked in front of my garage about 2 car length away so I need to wash my car parked close to my garage if I get active 2.0 and my nextdoor neighbors leave their garage door open during daytime weekend. If I get Ryobi, I can wash at our open space car wash area freely. What would you recommend?

  • @niptuck170
    @niptuck170 2 года назад

    I'm already in the Ryobi ecosystem, and this would be perfect for washing the cars in the winter when i have all my outside water supplies shut off to prevent freezing. However, that bag looks like a nightmare. And honestly, even the separate jug seems super inconvenient, as since it needs to be lifted off the ground, it's as if i need to bring a table outside too. And then moving around with both the pressure washer and that would be annoying. I like the greenworks 1800 PSI washer, as the bucket just clips in right on top, and seems like a much better solution. But again, as i already have other 40V Ryobi products, i'd like to stay in this ecosystem as I'd be adding to my battery arsenal. Do you come up with any other options to replace the bag?

    • @niptuck170
      @niptuck170 2 года назад

      I think I answered my own question. Build a shelf on top of that metal cage with a hinge so you can still remove the batteries, and just place the jug on top of it, and cut the hose short.

Approximately 15 minutes of use from a single 36v 5AH battery (new) then when it dies the battery is so hot you need to let it cool down before charging. 4 hours later with the charger that comes in this horrible kit and still not charged. Do another 12 minutes work with it. Luckily (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) I already owned a 36v 6AH output charger that charged in roughly and hour leading me to continue trying to make this tool work. This is what led to my second mistake regarding this abortion. I came up with this great idea thinking about buying 5 new batteries from them just to say thankyou for my new haemmorrhoids i found from lifting my wallet so much. So back to bunnings again to buy 5x 5AH batteries to find there was none in stock and special order only, same with the 4AH and they only had a 3AH. Chuckled to myself and thought I'd rather slam my **** In a car door and set out looking for a tool with another battery and spent another $350 on this on the spot great idea. As you can guess I started inviting everyone I spoke to to a ryobi bonfire I was having on the weekend and everyone was invited to burn their 36V ryobi rubbish in it too, including the staff at bunnings (they couldn'tstop laughing). Next day I spent roughly $800 on a new ryobi pressure cleaner (I love being treated like trash in the bedroom by ryobi apparently) but this time 4 stroke and at least I got my job done in 6 hours instead of a month and half later. I'd love to thank ryobi for my newly developed brain cancer and I look forward to doing this again with you soon.

    Has anybody tried to gravity feed the 1600 electric model? How did it do?

      I’ve done it and it works well as long as you prime it and ideally keep it connected to the water source. Here’s a video I made on it. I show the performance towards the end of the video! ruclips.net/video/5GOHOx0CKYo/видео.html

    Having a cordless Pressure washer is a waste. You are still tethered to a garden hose.

    I wouldn’t buy this unit unless im a mobile detailer, this psi and gpm gives you crapy foam and takes forever to rinse your car

      1400 at 1.375 isn’t terrible, pretty close to the other ryobi electric units. But yes I agree with you the more gpm the better! I’m running the Adams pro and getting close to the gpm mark and rinsing is much faster

      If you live in a apartment or condo? Or have an ATV or dirt bike. Good to clean after a dirty ride before heading home. I'm sure there are other applications.
