I've had this car (red) for about a year now. pretty happy with it. Few issues here and there since I purchased it used, but they all got repaired under warranty. If anybody is thinking of buying their first new, or even used, car, this is it. Great gas milage will pay for itself over time if you drive a lot. Going from something getting 16mpg to this car (31mpg city), it literally pays for itself in gas savings. And since its a car under 100 horsepower, small, lots of air bags, full coverage insurance for me is under $100 a month. This car is a no brainer for somebody with a low budget like myself.
I'm driving a Chevy Spark rental. Not a fan of the little space, but it is a cute little car and has some very basic and some newer features. Breaks, steering, handling and suspension/shocks are awesome. I've already received one compliment on it. I own a Scion tC but if it gets totaled, I'll be in the market for a Honda or Toyota. I read somewhere this one overheats and I like to take road trips so I need something very reliable.

Just got the standard model of this car (LT). Freakin love it! The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have cruise control but I’m going to get that installed🙌🏼
I have the LT & I got it in 2020 I wish I knew about the sunroof but i still love my car. I definitely will get an upgrade once I pay it off it does great on gas and I love it as an A & B car
It’s a great little car. I have a (Holden) Spark, same car, which I purchased in 2017. I have put 30,000 kms on it, not one problem. Very good in city, CVT is great (and quiet) on the highway. Engine is very powerful, roomy for the size, good brakes, steering feel and handling. Very manoeuvrable, so suits the city perfectly, but also pretty good on the highway. I have a Toyota Camry, which is also a great car, but I prefer this for city driving, so good on narrow streets, tiny car spaces etc. Rear room is ok for the size, but tall adults won’t be comfortable. Other minuses are the very small boot (trunk) and tiny 30L fuel tank. But a well built, fun and funky little car overall. I might add the price of this car is much lower than a Toyota Yaris, for instance. As such I wouldn’t expect the same durability as a Yaris, however should be good for 200000 kms. Fuel consumption is very good if driven conservatively, I’m beating the stated consumption, currently averaging 6.2 L/100 kms, which is excellent!
The Yaris and Echo were actually cheap built cars as a mechenic in damp climate the electrical was a nightmare and actually expensive repairs in simple parts ... i cant recommend the Spark as im just seeing reviews etc
I've heard the Echo was actually pretty reliable, yes it felt a bit cheap. Have never heard anything bad about the Yaris, but was'nt prepared to pay $6,000 more for one!
I have been back & forth with a couple of vehicles~ but really like the SPARK. The cargo shelf is good, compared to the flimsy one they are now putting in quite a few vehicles😒
Nice review. I'm about to take delivery of a clean, low mileage 2014. Keeping the price down, I went for the LS. What's funny is that I REALLY didn't think I was going to like this cheap, efficient eco-box, but from the multiple test drives I've taken, ( and feeling safe about the many many positive reviews I've researched before my purchase) I think I'll love it. Finding a manual transmission, in low miles, or anything at all, in manual, is non-existant in my area. Closest reliable looking, and low to reasonable mileage, was over 200 miles away. But Im still happy with the auto, just SLIGHTLY less. I wish a sun/moonroof was available on the 2014, I would have held out. :D
@@shinobusensui9395 23,000 miles, and slightly over $10 K. I highly enjoy this thing. One thing I have noticed, and nobody has mentioned is that the left cup holder fits a regular size soft drink can/drink. The right cup holder, is marginally larger, for the bigger soda cans. Thought that was cool.

I bought the Mitsubishi mirage due to it's better mpg. It's slow as hell but, I do get 40 miles city sometimes 50 miles per gallon when I 'm in the highway with no traffic.
I've seen some aftermarket ones priced around $1,500, but honestly, I don't trust any aftermarket sunroofs. Is it cheaper than the hit from trading in for one with a sunroof, yes, but I wouldn't want anyone but the manufacturer cutting a hole in my car.
Hello sir i have questions please taking a 2018 chevrolet malibu engine is what you can get in a 2019 chevrolet malibu Lt would like to know your opinion and the incovenientt please thank you! or if it causes any problem
No issues with the engines. A lot of people are not liking the CVT transmission though. Personally, I like the drive better on it, but the history of longevity isn't that good.

Is this true, how does it work because like I said, there's no power windows or locks, so therefore I have no fob keys?

Not on the 1LT, there are daytime running lamps down lower. The fog lamps are only on the Activ trim now
