What Pink Floyd song that actually should be? As a huge Floyd fan it was impossible for me to recognize.
I believe it's a remixed (of course) version of another brick in the wall. Could be wrong tho. I don't know anything about music besides listening. I went and listened to parts of all 3 another brick songs and it had the same feel.

I love his attitude- open for learning- not a know it all. Very little ego and he is good! He should be more famous and tour. Maybe do more originals and form a band maybe. He has 1.5 MILLION subscribers. Or maybe he just loves what he is doing now and makes a killing off of YTbe. Whatever works. I enjoy his videos- as do many others.
Whenever I learn a new song like this, it seems overwhelming. I look at the music or tab and it's a million notes. Then, I type in the song name, tab and CHORDS, and you see it is not usually hard at all- just like this. If you know the basic melody, main chords, key, capo or no capo and tuning, you can loop the main chords, practice the main riffs and solos and improvise the rest in the appropriate key. It usually sounds plenty good enough. Most of the time, in the tab, what looks like 6 notes is ONE chord arpeggiated, or picked through (spread out- played one note at a time but the left hand does not have to move.) Some songs, even that sound complex are painfully easy to fake, literally in minutes if you have some fundamental knowledge/skills. I am very untalented but I can play ok- so people say. One person thought I was the radio- after 2 hours of my playing. That was a nice compliment considering I quit guitar lessons after 2 painful lessons and being told I had to cut my nails. I took more lessons later on when I came back to it.
After I play something, even an original I have thought, if someone wrote this out- it would be impossible to play note for note- even for me (and most bands.) The trick is what I wrote above. Learn the key, the main riffs, then just jam- it's rock n roll. This will not work for really technical pieces where you have to sync up with the song and timing, like in a production accompaniment, but it will work for a great many tunes.
His solo improv. was smoking and nice guitar! Sounded like dueling demons on guitar.

Are you using the word raw ironically considering the fact that he sings and plays through forty thousand pieces of equipment? raw talent is when somebody sings into a microphone without Auto-Tune and plays an acoustic guitar and everything you hear is exactly what they're making and nothing else. . there's plenty of raw talent... he's not raw talent.
