Great bass line
"I wanted to be with you alone, and talk about the weather." One of the best lines. Means even if doing nothing, saying nothing, your so mesmerizing it's what I wanna do.
Sadly we in the UK will never produce such excellent music again. Today's bands are boring and their music is easily forgotten. Tears for Fears are timeless.

roland voice is still strong

His voice distinctly changed forever after sowing the seeds of love, but not in a bad way. Him and Curt used to be almost indistinguishable on their songs when this one came out
As one of the biggest Tears For Fears fans, there is no doubt that Roland’s voice is not what it used to be. Roland has always had one of the most powerful rock voices I’ve ever heard. Curt, on the other hand, still sounds very much the same as he always has. Roland did the high pitched scream a few too many times. Possibly the greatest rock and roll screamers of all time.

He can't do high stuff as well anymore, but the lower pitched stuff sounds even better.
Elton John sounds like he's got a Rolf Harris style wobble board in his throat these days and he still gets gigs 😂
He sounds pretty solid for 30+ years later since voices tend to drastically change over that amount of time.

Curt looks the picture of health, poor Rolland, you can see the pain he has gone through in his eyes. Such an amazing talent but the life had gone…I don’t know at what stage he was at then, I just hope that his new wife along with Curt has put the spark back. I’m a fan for life!!!

To be honest I'm from the 80s,many many great bands, I've DJed in some of the biggest clubs in the world and played thousands of tracks but this song will never leave me, it always picks me up for some reason, a master piece.
Not sure if it's the combination of the notes, but this has been one song I will never tire of.
Curt is so good on bass. And singing, while playing that complicated stuff? No mean feat.

I have absolutely no problem saying that this might be one of the best 20 - 30, songs ever. There's so much going on and when combined sounds incredible. It still baffles my mind how talented musicians are to create a song like this from nothing.
