Tears For Fears in my opinion was the most brilliant songwriters, arrangers and producers of the 80s no doubt! Their songs are absolutely works of geniuses
The albums of the 80s are brilliant, but if you haven't heard the albums after that period , you owe it to yourself to give them a listen. Pure genius.
All class, and may I say a lesson to the younger generation. Learn your instrument well, and listen and write from experience ! These guys are the real deal !
Learn your instrument well, then get great session musicians in when your actually recording, my uncle played guitar for them and created the guitar break in Everybody want to rule the world.

@@tinalulumack378 haaaa I was talking about Curt but I'm a huge fan of Roland's hair and his personality. I love the way he messes with interviewers and has been for 40 years

Wow awesome story there Rob I graduated 85 wished After High School I wouldn't have seen them but never did it brings back so many memories for me from high school days the '80s was the best music hands down
Great to see them both still going so strong, I’m a teenager of the 80’s & still in love with the music of that era, my homeland Aussie bands & the great tunes out of the UK. The 80’s rocks on.
I'm a teenager from the eighties too! Tears for Fears was on the radio almost everyday and I would try to tape their songs on cassette...those memories are sweet!! Cheers from Australia ⭐

I was so young when they were hitting their prime.....but in my teen years their music was so influential to me because the lyrics were REAL! I grew up with their music and now Im so glad theyve reunited and now a new album. I'm loving the My Demons its my favourite from the Tipping Point!!
I’m an enormous fan of these two remarkable artists. Their music during the MTV 80s made a huge impact on me. I’ve never heard anything like them. Incredibly unique sound. This interview was a real treat for those of us that grew up with their music. Blessings! 🙏🏾
Top of their game, Roland seems especially revitalized despite his personal difficulties in the last several years with his first wife. Great album, absolutely thrilled I'll be seeing these guys (for the first time!) in Chicago next week!!!!
I hope you had a good time. I saw them in Columbia, MD (06/19/22) and they sounded great. Songs from the Tipping Point sound great live and the classics sound great as well. The guy’s voices are in rare form and the band is tight as a drum. I had a ball and loved their set list. Woman in Chains, Badman’s Song, and of course, Shout which closed the show brought a lot of energy. As the guys stated in the BBC interview, the range in age was all over the place. Everyone, seemingly had a ball. It was like seeing old friends again. I was in the 10th grade when the Hurting was released, graduated from high school when SFTBC came out, and just about to graduate from college during release of the SOL album. Heck, I was just getting married when Elemental was released. Now, here I am middle aged and divorced when the Tipping Point is released. So, the fellas have been integral to my life in many phases.
I grew up listening to these guys since 1988 when I was 8 years old back in Mexico when I was pretty poor and spoke no english whatsoever Fast forward 35 years later and now I’m about to see them live for the first time in my life this coming August You cannot begin to imagine my excitement😳
