I followed your recipe step by step! It's amazing and super simple! I didn't have yogurt or sour cream on hand so I dissolved room temperature cream cheese with a little bit of milk. It turn out great super moist also added chopped pecans!

For anyone skeptical of this recipe, I've used this exact one about a dozen times now and it comes out perfectly every time and tastes AMAZING!! Only thing I have to do different because of my oven temperature, is 300 degrees for an hour and a half. And I add a cup of crushed walnuts, not a half(because I like more crunchy in mine) try this out!! It is so simple and easy to make.. only about 5 mins of prep.. rest is oven time!!!
@@dddortega I've used this recipe multiple times.. and forgot to add sour cream one time, it was still good,but sour cream makes it moist and delicious.. it kinda gives it a bread-pudding like consistancy!! It was much drier without it, I highly suggest using it🙂
@@amyli8435 are you talking about whipping cream? If so, I'm not sure because it'd be too liquidy.. I don't imagine the bread coming out with a good structure.

This recipe is awesome! I had bananas that were getting ripe so I froze them so they didn't go to waste and found this the only thing is I didn't have white sugar lol so I put brown sugar lol and used yogurt it came out great!!
Hey Crouton Crackerjacks! I made this at home and it came out fantastic. The kids can't get enough. So easy and simple to make. The only thing is waiting for the bananas to ripen :) I tried making one using a combination of one ripe banana and one super ripe large plantain and the flavor and the aroma was just through the roof. I love this recipe! I use half cup brown sugar and half cup white sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp rum extract. It does something wonderful for the flava😋
I tried this recipe and my banana nut bread was delicious ! Only difference, I let my bananas ripe for a few days and used extra sour cream to give the bread a more moist consistency. Loved this recipe, thanks!
