When the actor who played Blue passed away in real life I read that he said that after a long career of playing small parts in many movies and shows over the decades it always made him very happy when a young person would recognize him on the street because they would always yell "You're my boy, Blue!" and ask to take pics with him, and that it happened to him pretty often. I think that's just awesome.
It's always awesome when somebody gets something like that.
He was from Texas, a lot of people showed up to his funeral
Respect.. You are my boy Blue. 🤘🏻
right in the feels! so wholesome
I heard he also liked this comment.
This movie will never not be hysterical.
I had literally named an old dog of mine "Blue" just so i could have a reason to yell; "you're my boy, Blue!!"
Lets all give a shout out to BLUE who was, is and forever will be our BOY🙌....reaction wishlist "role models unrated" " semi-pro unrated" and "the campaign extended cut"
Right bruh Blue was my dawg he was great.
Yes 🙌 also semi pro is hilarious!
Role Models! "Well obviously we're not supposed to butt fuck these kids".
BLUE YOU'RE MY BOY!
Yes (you're our boy blue), yes (role models reaction), yes (semi-pro reaction), and yes (the campaign reaction)
The irony of Jeremy Piven playing the Dean was the best. He basically created the concept of the college old timer leading the party rebels in PCU. A true cult classic.
I remember watching that on cable back in the day and losing it during the scene where he explains that David Spade's character hates his guts because they used to be roommates as freshmen and he tells the story as if Spade was a terrible roommate and a douche and then they flash back to it and it's 100% Jeremy Piven's fault that he hates him. That was just genius.
Parliament Funkadelic!
John Belushi has entered the chat
Very few people catch that. Genius.
Tonight, at the Pit.... EVERYONE GETS LAID
Typically, when SNL stars transition to big screen movies, they make about 4-6 comedy classics right off the bat and then settle in. This was easily one of Will Ferrell's best during that time.
yup and Elf the same year. Anchorman the next
This is one of my favorite comedies of the early 2000s.
Underrated comedy. Freaking hilarious and hysterical! “You’re my boy, Blue!” 🙏🏻 also “Snoop-a-Loop” makes me laugh everytime 😂
I still say "You're my boy, Blue!" almost every day.
It's literally one of the most talked about comedies the hell you talking about underrated...
Bring your green hat!
Great reaction! It was awesome to see these three guys (Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson) reunite in the infamous Anchorman news team fight one year later.
That tranquilizer gun scene will always be funny
Thats how Mathew Perry passed aeay using that stuff. Ketamine. They say it's horse tranquilizer
Yes!
One of my all time favorite scenes lmao
YES.
You guys seem to like Sean William Scott. Road Trip and Dude, Where's My Car are two of my favorites.
Goon is my favourite Sean William Scott film. Great movie.
The Rundown with The Rock is also a fun flick.
@@joshuareed390 Hell yeah, might be my favorite Rock movie, honestly.
@@CornChippy YES. It's awesome!
"But how old is he, and how old is she"
"Who cares?"
"Ok, fair enough"....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,. Best interaction of the movie 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The actor who played the guy I’m here for the gang bang is Todd Phillips director of this move, hangover joker and road trip (he also was the guy that licked the toes)
He was the guy that was going down on the girl in the elevator in the hangover. They call his character, Mr. creepy
This movie, Talladega Nights, & Anchorman have to be the most quotable movies of the early 2000’s. I remember getting so excited whenever a new Will Ferrell movie was coming out.
Same guy who directed this directed Joker 😂 He was the guy at the door who said "I'm here for the gangb@ng." Lol
Right before my dad passed in 2011, I would watch movies with him because that was the one of the few things that he still enjoyed. So I played this for him and he loved it.
Right before he lost his ability to speak (he was 85 with terminal cancer), he pulled me close to his face and he said, "I see Blue! He looks glorious!"
We had the best belly laugh from that, like laughing tears and boogers were pouring from my face.
He died 2 weeks later on my birthday, which sounds bad, but he did me a favor doing that.
I'm the only one in our family who isn't born in January or October, so everyone forgets. Now they all remember! Thanks Dad!
The wedding singer in the beginning is Dan Finnerty and hes an actual singer lol. Hes also in the Hangaover and Starsky & Hutch.
Not enough people talk about these older Will Ferrell movies and they're comedy gold
Man i miss these films so much! Nothing like a good laugh riot!
This has got to be one of the hardest you two have ever laughed at a movie. 10/10 reaction
(32:21) “She showed me the knife.”
LOL 😂
Love this film..So very rewatchable..so f hilarious.
The guy who shows up at the house in the beginning is actually the director Todd Philips. It's great.
This one of those movies you can watch a million times and always find something funny and if not still enjoy it!
One of the greatest movies ever! Love every moment of it, so many quotable lines and great memories.
This is one of those movies you tend to forget about, even though it's got so many hilarious scenes
The Dan Band, also seen in The Hangover. My absolute favorite wedding band.
27:25 The song is referencing The Graduate in which Dustin Hoffman winds up underwater in a pool.
As soon as I saw you guys were watching this, I knew you'd love it. You're right in the demo for this movie. Some great stuff came out of the early aughts. Since you liked this, here are some other recommendations based on the tone & actors in this film ... For more Luke Wilson, IDIOCRACY ... For more Vince Vaughn, WEDDING CRASHERS ... For more Jeremy Piven (the dean), PCU ... For more from Director Todd Phillips (the guy who asked about the gang bang), ROAD TRIP (also starring Stiffler) and THE HANGOVER. (Phillips also directed THE JOKER).
... For bawdy laugh out loud comedies from the ladies, there's BRIDESMAIDS, BOOKSMART, and BAD MOMS (...all starting with the letter "B"?!?!? 😄)
... EURO TRIP is a pretty solid comedy with high schoolers who actually LOOK like high schoolers. And GOOD BOYS is a hilarious movie in this vain with an amazing group of kid actors.
... If we're going deep into this cast's roster, Artie Lang (one of the two lawyers) guest starred in DIRTY WORK with the late, great Norm MacDonald.
... Other random hilarious movies in the same vain... NEIGHBORS (college themed), 21 JUMP STREET (sequel is college themed), WAYNE'S WORLD, HALF BAKED.
... While not quite as good, ACCEPTED (Justin Long & Jonah Hill), NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VAN WILDER (Ryan Reynolds), & NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE (Baby Chris Evans!) are worth a look
... I think the only top five Will Ferrell movie you HAVEN'T seen yet is ELF... and it's STILL the holidays, so...
I think I'm in a dream or something. You are reacting to all my fav comedies. Lets Goooo! 😍
That was a fun movie. Thanks for the reaction. I remember watching it in cinema. "American Pie", "Road Trip", "Old School" - they all got the same kind of feel, mood and humor. I really enjoyed these. Of course, not the most sophisticated humor, but hell, I just want some laughs sometimes. And these movies provided lots of them. It was a fun time the late 90's and early 00's. And Frank here's driving a 77/78 Firebird Trans Am - Stiffler does so (a 79 model though) in American Pie 3. Loved that car - still missing mine I had to let go years ago. It was not the best car I've owned from a technical point of view. But I never felt better or more free than behind this wheel.
I LOVED your reactions to this movie. All, the parts I cried & scream in laughter were identical to you two guys. I first saw this movie when it came out and it is STILL HILARIOUS!!!😂
I’ve had the pleasure to meet Luke and Owen Wilson and they are great dudes and are funny as hell! I’m glad y’all liked this movie
Old School easily has to be in any list of Top 5 comedy of this century.
If you don't know Luke Wilson, you really need to see Idiocracy. Funniest movie that is becoming weirdly prophetic. From Mike Judge, the creator of Beavis and Butthead.
Did you miss the post credit scene? Mark(boyfriend) crashed his car off the bridge&drops on the Dean(who was fishing on the side of the bridge) killing both of them. That was one of the best scenes.
I love it when you guys watch comedies. It makes my days brighter!
from Roadtrip to Eurotrip and Project X. the early 2000's were awesome
project x wasnt early 2000s but ok
@@chadwellington2524 yes, youre right
One of my favorite comedies. It's hilarious 😂
😂😂👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
REACT TO FIRED UP! 2009 it’s one of the funniest movies ever!😂
lol man i remember watching this when it first came out...still hilarious to this day...awesome reaction
I have a billiards room in my house decorated with three art pieces (full-size prints of gregoryclassics sketches) on an accent wall: Center is a picture of Blue, paralyzed in bliss before he dies. Picture on the left is the scene from Dumb and Dumber, where they're singing their rendition of Mockingbird; right is the scene from the Motivational Speaker, Chris Farley, talking to David Spade and guest star Christina Appelgate. That center picture is my favorite, though, and sets the mood for post-bar-time afterparties. YOU'RE MY BOY, BLUE!
So glad you guys did this one. Old School, Anchorman and Talladega Nights are hands down my top 3 Ferrell films of all time. 2 things Curtis, your face was priceless when she was trying to explain the gang bang to Mitch, and 2nd I couldn't wait to see your face when the Stifmeister pops up on screen😆
Don't forget blades of glory and semi pro ( Jackie moon) those are my favourite with yours together
“Road Trip”, “Blue Streak”, “National Security” and “Nothing to Lose”, next!
As a kid I would laugh myself to tears for minutes on end watching that scene where he gets pulled to the sewer gate by his Twinkie. As an adult I do the same
I love this movies It is so hilarious that i always go back to watch this now and then
YOU’RE MY BOY BLUE! You’re my boy! 😂
A great Stifler movie is The Rundown staring The Rock as well.
Evolution too is a good movie 😂
WE FUCKIN NEEDED THIS MORE THAN EVER!!!✊
What a week! Couple suggestions…. Hot Tub Time Machine, Van Wilder & Waiting…
Now I just need a Wedding Crashers reaction. Sofa king funny!
Every time I hear Dust in the wind by Kansas, I always think of this movie
One of the funniest movies of all time 😂
I can't believe my uncle and older brothers let watch this movie with them when I was 9 years old back in 2003. I understood most of the jokes.
I was 13 and saw it with my mom 😂We decided to randomly go to a movie after going to dinner and had no idea what it was about going in haha we both loved it, but deffinitely moments I didnt need to see with my mother.
@@dwarfchron801 ouch. i cant imagine watching college chicks KY wrestle with my mom!
Great reaction. Classic comedy! Wedding Crashers on deck?
YOURE MY BOY BLUE!! That’s always funny to hear. 😂😂
"Why the gun?" Because this came out like 16 months after 9/11. Airports were... on edge to say the least.
The pool scene is a reference to "The Graduate". I'd recommend it.
OMG This was the Absolute Best Reaction Ever😂😅😂😅😂😅
If you havn't seen it yet, I recommend Van Wilder 1-3...
the dan band is one of my favorite parts of the movie
homes and watts is hilarious you guys will love it
Old School is one of the funniest films in film history
You definitely should check out Without a Paddle next 😂
One of the best things about the late 90's early 2000 comedies are the cameos of great character actors that would just pop up randomly and kill their scene. Andy Dick is a great example of that in this movie.
You guys should do The Campaign with Will Ferrell soon. I was an extra in that one, and it was an awesome experience. Look for me as the news cameraman in the courtroom scene. Lol
The guy that knocked on the door asking about the "Gang Bang" is the director.
Snoop Dogg agreed to be in the movie if he could play Huggy Bear in 'Starsky and Hutch'
I didn't know about Snoop agreeing to do this movie so he could be in Starsky & Hutch. But these are both Frat Pack movies so they were most likely produced by the same company.
Love this movie very underrated.
New subscriber here! Loves this reaction. Movie was a gem in the early 2000s haha. Another one worth noting is Evolution. Hilarious
This is one of my favorites
At 9:40 when will Farrell is working on his car, they changed it, this must be a newer version, where they superimposed underwear on him, on the DVD I had in 2003/2004, that was all ass crack.
I still own it, now I’m about to check.
Even the Andy Dick scene had extra lines.
I am pretty sure a young Simon Helberg is one of the recruits for the fraternity. Who would become famous on Big Bang Theory as Howard Wolowitz
I've seen this movie a bunch of times and I literally just recognized him this time lol
Love this movie. Will Ferrell is just one of the funniest guys out there. You should watch "Kicking and Screaming" with Will Ferrell
Dudes!! THE HANGOVER FRANCHISE!!
I would love to see y’all watch “Hot Rod” it’s just magical
The last time I saw this movie was when I was in high school. The only part I remember from this movie is @29:37. lol. I definitely have to see this movie again.
Theres an Australian movie called "Undead" (2003) that I reckon you guys would enjoy - if you can find it.
One of my personal favorite comedies😅
Yall gotta watch wedding crashers next. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson kill it in that.
Road Trip (2000) is another great comedy similar in style.
My dudes. This was another fantastic reaction. Always respect the awesome range of movies you do. Merry Christmas and have an awesome new year
How mad would you be if you were inside with Frank the tank when Snoop went on stage. The next day your friend mentions it and you're like what are you talking about?
“Once it hits your lips”
We only said that over and over like every weekend in college
One of the best movies ever (partially because of the timing of when I watched it, but also because it’s a banger)
You guys absolutely have to do Idiocracy with Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph.
This is probably the last time I ever heard the “F” word used in a movie the way it was, very casual..
You guys should react to Ong Bak or the raid (redemption) or the new police story
I would love to have The Dan Band play my wedding. This movie and The Hangover, the band kind of steals the movie.
Big beard always wears funny hats.
YOUR MY BOY BLUE!!! 😂😂😂😂
Guys! Wow! Another classic!
That is the same wedding singer from the Hangover
If you guys loved this, you should watch "Orange County" with Jack Black and Collin Hanks...I promise you will not be disappointed!
The man at the door for the "gang bang" was the director, Todd Phillips.
The wedding band were also in the hangover
You’re going to like this one
Great reaction guys as always!
Please, please, please watch 2004 The Girl Nextdoor. It's hilarious and stars the blonde high school girl from this movie.
YOUR MY BOY, BLUE!
YOU'RE MY BOY, BLUE!
This movie is really funny I seen it a lot
We're going streaking let's go Snoop Snoop a loop & Blue your my boy Will Ferrell & Vince Vaughn are a trip this movie was too funny. 😂😂
Bring your green hat! 😂
