Seeing things as shapes instead of objects is always amazing to me. It makes things seem so much easier and less intimidating. “Scared of drawing a house?” Well how about a rectangle and a triangle?
Well if you want realistic/semi realistic pictures you literally have to use references...also that's a normal, not bad thing, I don't really see the point you're trying to make here lol did you think artists just go around drawing realism from memory???
this is what i've always done which made my adjustment to alcohol markers (my sister gave it to me this Christmas) extremely hard as i had to be certain on where i put values and shadows accurately, otherwise i'd get a sloppy artwork
Just found your channel. Have been wanting to start with water color for a long time but always had no idea where to start. Can’t wait to try out your techniques 😊
Neutral Tint! By Daniel Smith (: It contains PBk 6, PV 19, PB 15 (so basically a black, a violet and a blue). It can be mixed as a variety of values of gray, or as a fully black color.
I remember painting better as a child than when I was older....I'd finish every one with all the details and they looked nice ... when I got older, I could hardly finish any to my satisfaction with half the details :-/
If you go to your history after watching them, you can click the little menu by videos there including shorts & then it offers the ability to save them to playlists :) If there's another way I don't know of it, but at least it's something despite being inconvenient. RUclips really does need to make it easy to save shorts though for sure!
Maybe like 1% similarity at best ... His pitch is different, his tone is different, his cadence is extremely different. His accent just happens to involve a similar placement of some vowels. Weird comparison

Works with faces and figures too. The problem is you'll be relying on reference photos often.
Do it enough times and you eventually won't. Plus nothing wrong with using reference. Reference makes you better
Use everything at your disposal to make your art better. There’s no cheating

References are actually encouraged in art as it lets you see the world as it truly is.
