I found this very informative, thank you for making it! The biggest "aha!" moment was the whole, "not letting any of the tree trunks start at the same point on the page" part, so that they looked more natural and the scene looked more 3D. I didn't totally get it until I saw it painted, but it's so simple and so useful. Thanks!
Mr Liron Yanconsky Im currently fighting depression . you've helped me more than you're ever know. im an amateur artist, and by watching and most importantly listening, your the only one who genuinely wants to learn artist how to be themselves, whilst painting, funny because I found myself getting excited, so I was very emotionaly happy. no doctor for me il opt for painting. ; ] without sounding deep, trust me when I say this, you could help someone, a stranger, and not eve know. u helped me big time [ ART FREES THE STRESS OF THE MIND '; Charles Salvador ]
Your videos are time well-spent. I learn something from every one of them and I am a better artist for it. Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge.
This video helped me so much!! I realized that I do overwork my foliage/grass backgrounds and since watching this; it has made it much easier to paint backgrounds for my cats! Thank you again!
I am thrilled beyond belief! I've been painting for months now. But today I watched your video three times and then, carefully following your instruction I took a huge artistic leap! You are an unbelievably gifted teacher and inspiration for me to keep learning! Thank you, Liron!!!
The manner you handled sky, back foliage, trunks ,tones and shadows ..is amazing. Could watch how your experience with brush could clarify a lot of unspoken practical difficulties of armature artists straggling with spoiled tree paintings. Trying to find bell Thanks dear Liron.
In the photo, the treetops against the sky is quite noticeable, but I like the look of the bottoms of the tree trunks and the value changes there, the criss crossing and stuff
Thank you! There’s an infinity of ways of approaching this, I tried making good decisions 😁 Would be interesting to do another one with a different arrangement too and see what comes up 🎨
Great work on the trees, Liron - as you say, the tendency is either to make them a single-coloured 'blob' or to put far too much individual detail in so they lose their unifying structure. You definitely strikes that middle ground with structure and detail both showing through. In the meantime I need to go and put some more miles in on the brushes and see if I can eventually get somewhere close to that happy medium. Thanks for the video and all the best from Florida, Brian.
Thank you Brian! 😁🙏🏼 I always appreciate your comments and kind word. I also feel like I need to put lots of miles on my brushes haha - off to paint! 🎨
Sir...I found your videos in app (drawing & painting)...I loved your tutorials and searched for you on RUclips....Your videos are really very helpful..I improved a lot because of you
Thanks Liron, will try this bearing in mind your instructions. I often remember snippets of your advice as I’m painting, so it does sink in! ‘I’m fine with that’ is my favourite! I’m painting a lot looser now and forgiving some unintended outcomes, happy to just say ‘it is what it is’, and repeat a painting if I feel I’ve learned something from my mistakes, rather than fiddle with the original. I like the blue sky by the way, adds to the sunny feel.
Yes my problem is adding too much detail and overworking my painting. Layers upon layers😒 I am very much a novice but enjoy your tips on keeping it simple. Thanks Lion!
I really enjoyed this. Your material is more advanced than I am. If you did some more simple paintings I would be very interested. Thank you! I think alot of people started hobbies with the pandemic..
Ah the part about a unified shaped no matter where you go with edges really just created a breakthrough for me! Thanks
Liron, I appreciate your willingness to share your talents with those of us who need help! I love watching your videos!
Thank you so much Sonia! 😊🙏🏼 much much appreciated

Excellent tutorial, thank you Liron. Varying the shades of green really helped me with tree foliage. You are a gifted artist and teacher.
A very vibrant starting photo, for just a clump of trees.
