Eoin McLove Comes for Tea | Father Ted S3 E7 | Absolute Jokes

- Опубликовано: 21 май 2017
- Young daytime TV presenter Eoin McLove secretly visits Mrs. Doyle for tea after she wins a poetry contest.
Beloved sitcom focused on three priests living on Craggy Island, a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. Father Ted Crilly is sent to the island as punishment for using charitable funds for a holiday in Las Vegas, but his true punishment comes in the form of Father Dougal Maguire and Jack Hackett, one a fresh-faced naive young priest, and the other a foul-mouthed, rage-filled alcoholic. Mrs Doyle is their nosy housekeeper, who makes plentiful pots of tea and never takes `no' for an answer. Despite their isolation, the priests get into their fair share of mildly sinful, entirely madcap adventures.

Every single time I watch an episode of this, I'm totally convinced it's the best episode of all. Then I watch another one and on and on it goes. I've sore eyes from crying with laughter.
Unless Bishop Brennan got kicked up the arse then it isn't the best. High standards though
@@NormAppleton lol, that is absolutely no lie! 🤣
my favorite is Father Stone
My eyes full of tears from laughing so hard. Such a treasure this show is. (Thanks for telling me, Valerie!)
I miss Father Ted. All of them. What an incredible team of hugely talented people.
Drink!

Too bad father Ted passed away. R I P
06:34 wrecks me, the way she glides in and starts questioning her, and then the info spreading montage. Pure comedic genius.
When's he coming?
@Moogie B that one anyway
I just want to mother him

I’ve had conversations where I wish I could say that.
You can, you always can.
"Tried to make the bed on his own... and lost a leg." So relatable!
At last Dougal has met his intellectual equal.

I know that most people would say that, "I have no willy" is the classic line from this episode, and there's no denying its greatness. But "I smell wee" and, "It's this one, this one smells of wee" get me every time. Also, "You leave me alone. I can have you killed."

After subscribing to this channel, this was the first time I have even heard of this show. As a comedy, Father Ted is pure genius. My respect for the writers!
Love how quickly his mind changes on TV when the lady mentions a cash prize
this has a interesting social commentary that tv celebs that portray a good guy are often jerks in real life
and are incapable of operating without a PA baby-stepping them thru life

Eoin McLove was played by Patrick McDonnell.
His acting credits comprise 'Naked Camera' and 'Stew'.
(No, I've never heard of them, either).
I sometimes wonder how he's paid his bills since 1998.
