My cousin and wife and 2 sons have lived in Roseburg for at least 50 years. I am retired, looking for a good rental first, and thinking strongly of moving there. Looking for a transition Motel first, with kitchenette. I have health concerns and need to cook my own. Sodium Will look online first. Oh, Rebecca lives there too! Good! Maybe see you soon.
Testing the area out with a good rental first isn't a bad idea just to make sure Roseburg is a good fit. If you have any questions about the area in the meantime feel free to reach out anytime! 541-236-2662
Yeah. I had a lot of discrepancies With what he said. But everybody has an opinion. My opinion is that he made this place a little bit better than what it actually is. We don't have the shopping, we don't have the restaurants, and we do have a lot more crime and homeless problems than what he said. We are also seriously lacking in medical services. We do have some great weather.
We do have Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, a Wal-Mart Super Store, and many other big box stores. We also have the Roseburg Marketplace (Roseburg Valley Mall) with over a dozen big name franchises and the Garden Valley Shopping Center. If I'm going to buy a new suit I drive an hour up to Eugene (a bigger city). Roseburg is not a big city, but it certainly covers most of the bases. For restaurants try True Kitchen + Bar, Parrott House, Brix, Old Soul, Blac N Bleu, Loggers, just to name a few. A lot of locals who see specialists or have more serious conditions often have doctors in Eugene or Medford that they visit. For most serious doctor visits locals tend to head North up to Eugene.
Would you retire in Roseburg Oregon? 🤔🌲
Yeah
Great video! Thank you for showcasing our amazing town so accurately. We love it here in Roseburg!
Thanks, Cruz! Always appreciate the kind words! 😃
Actually there are quite a few beaches that you have to pay to park. It may be a state park or something but not all of the coastline is free.
True, not free, but open to the public. The $5 parking fee is well worth it at the state parks! Beautiful area over there.
