For the win percentage, it needs to be above 50% in order to rank up. People actively grinding the game would most likely have a win percentage larger than 50% since they are improving consistently. It's most likely these same people that take an interest in RL content and replied on your survey. The people who don't take the game too seriously or have dropped it, probably won't bother replying on your survey. It's interesting though, but this is my best guess
@@inferno23_ You're wrong. You're thinking of bakkesmod MMR. I'm talking about win percent stats. I literally used to farm it and watch my stats rise. To this day I have around 68 percent win rate for exactly this reason.

I think the avg win % in your survey is above 50% because respondents to a rocket league survey will be inherently keen on the game and actively learning things, so as a group, they are climbing.
yeah, a came to a similar conclusion, but afterwards, I think it might be that once you go bellow 50% you start loosing rank and that's where most will quit rocket league. Which is interesting and sort of helps explains why the skill level in rocket league keep increasing, a digital natural selection of the fittest
That decrease in team play seems like it happens when players start to feel confident with some of their mechanics and gameplay, thus feeling like they are better than their team or not trusting their team
I liked how you showed all of the different metrics like demoes and goals per game but i personally wouldve been interested in seeing how many players are playing 2v2 / 3v3 as a premade and whether or not it makes a difference in hours / matches played compared to rank.
@@felix-b4940 I'd disagree, the fewer people in a game the more valid the feedback on if you did or did not personally fuck up, as such I'd imagine people playing ones or twos would learn from their mistakes faster than those in threes
Actually my mood is exponentially better when I'm playing with friends, whether that be 2v2s or 3v3s. Because of that better mood, I tend to have a much better time and just play better in general.
@@animorte9790 honestly I'd love to relate but my friends don't have the same drive as me, don't get me wrong, I do play better when I'm playing with them and I have way more fun etc, but the I'd be lying if I didn't say the W/L doesn't fall Not saying I'm some god or anything, I'm a dirty lil plat, but they've never used freeplay for anything past warming up Can't blame them though, It'd be unfair for me to push my wants onto them

this game is so addicting. Occasionally there's toxicity but thats every game. Climbing has been an absolute blast. I hope to get there soon!! Plat 3, Div 2 atm. Hopefully Soon :D @@sanikku5
I think it would take the same hours or less because, people have habits so they play around the same time every day so evenualy you will know the playstyle of those players and if you keep beating the same players over and over again you rank up
im from oceania and ive reached c1 in 3.3 k hours, so yep but then again 1.7 k hours were on a crappy surface pro 6 at 60 fps and terrible lag, so that's my only excuse other than just being really fucking shit at the game oh and i also play a shit ton in free play, like probably 70% in free play so that's also a factor in it i guess oh yeah and i have 4k matches played so that should give a rough idea of how much fucking free play i do (mostly because im watching a video and mindlessly playing tho )
The funny thing is that 300 hours in rank should mean that I would be in between plat 1 and 2 when this video was made but, I'm a champ player with around 300 hours. How does that make sense?
I'm plat 1 with 30 hours, but they've all been done recently as a new player. Maybe a lot of players take breaks and lose their touch a little when they come back so it takes more time. Also, maybe we are just good at the game. Cheers. Hopefully I'll hit champ at 300 hours too. ;)
It depends on training and such for example I have 700h and I've been stuck in diamond the for like 2months now today I got a good tm8 and im already d3 div2 abt to reach c1 agian after 2 months 15 game w 2 l
@@xff1n1ty Did you follow any training routines consistently? and if so, did you focus more on that, or on just playing ranked matches? Would like some tips if you have any on whats the best way to use time efficiently to get into gc. Im c2/c1 in 3s and 2s at 650~ hrs, but id literally only play rl for a week at a time every 2-3 months over the span of the last 2 years. Sometimes more or less. Only the last 3 months have I been more consistent in grinding rl and ive peaked so far at my current rank. Do feel like im getting a bit stuck at c2 tho
@@enksxo_ I suggest watching flakes 2s and 1s no mechanics to SSL RUclips series, you can also watch Spookluke And BasiliskRL, they all have great advice. Warm up routine wise, I would suggest always warming up in freeplay for 10 min before grinding (Spookluke has a video on this I believe), and for training routines, I would suggest doing lethamyr dribbling and rings maps. You can also find a lot of custom training maps like : Double tap Playground, Shadow defence (Don,t know the name), etc. I found that from champ 2 to GC you do not really need to improve mechanics, but more of a mindset switch, as it significantly simplifies the game and in turn, you rank up! You can also review your own replays and look for all the mistakes you have made, this helps a ton as you can find bad habits and consistencies you make while playing. Some pro Vods you can watch are Monkey Moon and AppJack, as their style of play is what I suggest. Note : I suggest pushing 2s as Imo it is easier. Hope this helps!
Hey Wayton, I think that those win% are measured from gameplay hour 0 onwards. Everyone who made it out of bronze will not fall back to bronze 1, hence they have a positive winrate, which is more than 50%.
@@bagingaming2769 I got out of plat like two weeks ago after being hardstuck in plat for 2 years, no lie - I know exactly why it's Wayton's favourite rank
I think your 55% win percentage would be due to the self selection of the data points. If you could somehow query the "master database" for 100 (or 10000) from each rank/division, you would most likely get a better data sample. Thank you for your great videos.
Bro I love watching Wayton apply real world stuff in his graphs. The whole last bar graph reminded me of my dad’s work he showed me once. Where he took a graph of oil production in one well over time, and found the average amount you should find in similar wells.
Hey Wayton! Just putting this out there. At 6:00 you mention the win rate percentage and how it has a similar rate across the board. When you think about it, you see a fairly consistent line going up in most of your stats in terms of goals per game, assists, etc. So is it possible that the average rate that people rank up is roughly 5 or 6%? Just a thought
2 Notes from me: 1) I didn't participate in the survey but I am curious if players may have entered their extra modes rank as their highest rank and skewed the data. For example I have 2400 hours and am GC1 in 2s and 3s but I was GC1 in rumble back at 1500 hours and am now GC3 in it so possible data skews there. 2) The win percentage could be 1 of 2 things. The first is just how RL calculates stats and I don't know how it counts stats when people abandon or forfeit and leave before the scoreboard, very possible Psyonix just didn't do this correctly. The other thing is your survey is skewed towards people who are active enough in the community and care enough to take a survey about Rocket League and players like that tend to put more time and effort into the game and thus have higher win percentages than the players who don't watch youtube and just sometimes play cuz they're bored. I would wager that has at least a 2% swing in your data.
Hey Wayton! Just wanted to let you know that you are my favorite content creator. You beat everybody out there in my opinion. Your style of editing, the clear time put into videos, and the quality of content is outstanding. I love watching every single one of your videos. The content is so much better then other rocket league RUclipsrs. You are seriously underrated. So, keep up the great work man. Looking forward to future uploads!
Thanks for letting us be apart of your video Wayton! Glad I could help as a champ 3 (virge of gc1)! I like to compare my current stats to my later stats!
Thanks man ! Today I was actually thinking about that after watching some off your videos, like what is the average learning curve in Rocket League Ranks, super interesting, I've got the game since 2015 but never played seriously, this year because im getting older (29 this year) video games bore me a bit, but my friends play rocket league often, so I gave myself the challenge to at least have a basic control of each game mechanics and achieve Champion. I've got 250 hours on RL since 2015, 1500 matches, 54% win and Im currently Diamond 1. Today i just learned to dribble thanks to your video about it and became confortable doing so after an hour. I guess im part of the ones who get the game quite quickly according to your average rank curve, Im doing lots of drifts and air combat in simulation games (Assetto Corsa, DCS World) so serious mechanics learning is something I like doing. And actually after watching your videos and playing more seriously, It made me realise how complex of a game RL is and I start to enjoy it in a whole new way, I didnt felt that passion for a game since Skyrim, so thank you ! 😉
484 hours in game, and 5 days time for matches played, 1568 matches and win rate of 62%, goals are 3797 and 659 assists, 2228 saves and 978 wins. My rank is Champion 1 in 2s.
It’s probably cuz the extra ways to rank up on pc are massively boring. And starting on pc is sort of the same as starting on console since you learn to play with the input delay and low frames.
6% is small if the hours needed is small. If it takes 100 hours to get to plat 1, 6% isnt a lot If it takes 1500 hours to get GC, 6% is a lot more significant by comparison. It's definitely interesting though
I think the reason that the win% is more than 50 on the survey, because Wayton puts out tutorials helpful learning and good content,so the people who did the survey had a better win rate than people who don’t.Keep up the good work Wayton🙂
As a newer player on the verge of diamond in 2s, Plat is the rank I started being able to control the ball a lot. I think the lower assists but higher goals and other inconsistencies is that everyone is fighting eachother to make solo plays because either we are doing it to try and improve, we think we are the best, or our teammates seem to be letting us down so we feel like we have to do it all ourselves. As someone who is genuinely trying to improve, Plat has been a very frustrating rank but as long as you keep a more calm and mature mental, you can litterly watch the game unfold and start reading plays. I've found in upper Plat I can 'train' about half of my teamates in the first couple minutes by making a good center and then immediately beeliningback for rotation until they get the idea.
The graph showed really my own time vs. progress until 2 seasons ago, but is a bit outdated now. There were some rank resets during the last seasons, you can say go down 2 ranks for a certain amount of hours spent.
1:56 Dear wayton, Considering our behaviour during the survey, we would like to apologise for the insincerity of our actions. We have continuously Lied to you and made life harder for your RUclips videos. We promise to never lie to you again. Yours truly, youraudience.
6:05 My best guess would be the effect of soft resets in new seasons. The first quarter of every season, players are winning matches in ranks they're usually higher than. By the time they get back to their normal rank, their win percentage is padded.
but the other players youd be playing vs at the lower ranks would be the same as you because of the reset... if anything it would be the people who wait to the end of the season to play and all of the higher rating players wouldve naturally assumed their ranks. ANOTHER POINT, rocket league is ftp now and everybody who wants to pad will just hard smurf
I used to be so worried about ranking up as fast as possible. But that's just not me. I like to take my time in each rank so that I get comfortable with taking a leading role in each rank instead of relying on others to carry me. I also hate pushing and trying to win so bad. My win rate is 51.8%. It feels so good to just let wins happen, instead of forcing them. I have around 1,200 hours and I am diamond I. But I focus on getting better each game. I used to train quite a bit more than other people according to this video, but lately I've been in a mode where I am playing almost only matches.
Is that the time played on the career stats in game? I wanna know how to see the number he spoke of in this video that's different from what I see on my stats page. Should I expect a higher or lower number from my 3 days 20 hours played as a gold 2 with 54.3% win rate? I know it's not good I definitely feel like I'm hot garbage and not improving the last half of my time played
Since us console players can’t see hours played, can you post the average matches for every rank for us to compare? There were only a few ranks mentioned in the video as far as I could see.
gold - 1052 matches plat - 2648 matches champ - 6684 matches gc (ps4) - 10229 matches ssl - 17586 matches He showed this... Should be enough. keep in mind some players spend more time in freeplay than others
I'm actually surprised to see that the average champ 2 should have 1590 hours, i just hit champ 2 and I've played about 900 hours. I did know that i progressed pretty fast, but not by THAT much.
@@wire5246 eh I think I'll be set. I was stuck in diamond for about 80 hours, meaning I'll be in champ for about 160, and I've been in champ for about 10 hours. I'm willing to bet I'll be gc by the end of the year.
I'm a Plat IX and I find that your assessment of plat play is correct. It is extremely difficult to break out of platinum without a team or without being good enough to carry two others. I've been diamond before and I will be again, but in the mean time my teammates amount to more RNG than rumble. Also, my rank-up to Diamond game is ALWAYS against a team with coms while my team hits multiple own goals. I've only been able to break through twice in 3s.
@@Wxczut It means I've been in it for a long time, and out of it, and have 4 seasons worth of champ rewards and I'm still plat in 3s lol. And tbh it's where I belong.
@Noah Kelly Thanks! I read it all, but I appreesh the TLDR too. I was joking about plat 9 of course, though I think i'd qualify to be one if it did exist.
The only problem I have with the hours spent is that it counts the hours idle. I've personally gained most of my hours on the game just bc I was afk. Other than that great video
@@rlplayer5872 I’ve got the same issue with the hours spent metric because of the number of hours I’ve racked up whilst idle. Matches played is arguably just a less accurate measurement of the in-game time played tracker in your stats.
Yea it's quite dumb, because before f2p I was a trader, so I have probably 4000 ish hours on the game but was only at 380 hours in match when I hit GC, which is definitely above average
I’ve spent about 560 hours based on the game time in my PS5 and currently on champ in 3s and 2s. Absolutely unable to do flip resets and struggling with wall dash things, however understanding of positioning, good defensive and pressing skills is the key for this level as I think.
It seems like this is gonna be me lol, I go anywhere from d2 to d3 and I have 1753 hours. Have fun man, hope the game is still fun for you, it isnt for me but I still play
What are the confidence intervals on these various figures? I'd love to see some error bars! There certainly weren't an even number of respondents from every category/rank, so you'll have much higher confidence in the averages for some ranks than others. I'm also curious about the variance within each rank. Would be great to see some robust statistical analysis of an even larger player set! Also, I have a feeling that the reason Psyonix doesn't release their official data is so that new players don't realize they'll need to put in >300 hours to get out of the trash tiers. And those of us in Plat 2 with 1300+ hours don't completely lose hope.
In 2v2 I easily hit Champ, but in 3v3 I always get into a position where I'm not really affecting the game and it feels like I'm just rotating. So thats why i'm stuck in low diamond
About the win percentage => Afaik the game only adds up stats if you completely finish the game and stay until the end (Which is basically once the Winner message shows up, same goes for earining experience btw.) So if you leave early, stats won't add up. This includes leaves in Ranked 1s or casual => Players that are about to lose are far more likely to leave early (Especially for example before the casual leaver punishment was added) => Due to all that missing loss stats, pretty much all players have a Winrate higher than 50%
You pretty much have to have a win % higher than 50% to even rank up so besides bronze players it seems like everyone would have to be above that 50% threshold correct?
@@banded30099 The baseline in Rocket League is somewhat gold'ish (You also start with 600 MMR on new accounts, which is basically gold => so if you win 50% of your placement matches you are already about low gold rank) Same goes for the soft reset every season => Everyone's MMR gets pulled closer to Gold again => So simplified, everyone above gold should have 50% winrate and everyone bellow should have below 50% actual winrate of their games. But even with that increased winrate players have to have to rank up, a GC with 10000 games only has to overcome 1500 MMR from Bronze to GC which is like ~167 more than losses in total, which would only be a winrate of 50.8% => so that's not the full explanation for all those 56% winrates.
@@YukizzGG There's several factors which contribute: 1. Leaving doesn't update Career Stats (players are more likely to leave losing games). 2. Resets pull everyone towards Gold 3. Anyone above Gold 3, especially Champ+ needs to climb 50+ rating each season to get back to where they were the previous season. 3. Prior to Free to play, resets were capped to 1380 rating (vs the now 1540 for 2v2 and 1660 with 1v1 and 3v3). Meaning even someone in 2000 rating would have to climb to 2000 rating from 1380. 4. Prior to Legacy Season 8, resets capped people to 1180 rating (Champion 1). 5. Season 3 had a hard reset, making veteran players (like myself) have to climb from the beginning again, except much slower with more wins due to the lack of MMR inflation. 6. Career Stats considers _every_ game mode. Casual, Competitive, Extra Modes, Exhibition, Private Matches. It's all added up together. I think if you combine _all_ of these reasons, plus that in order to rank up you need a higher than 50% winrate, then it easily explains why most people are in 55% to 60%, even those below Gold. Especially if they have like 500 hours and are still Gold.
It would be interesting to see what ranks people have in different gamemodes. For example plat 2 1v1 has a lot of c1-2 2s players (at least in my experience).
It's interesting how I reached GC1 in 1200 hours by myself while being strictly a 3s main. Which means I'm progressing incredibly fast, I suppose. I've just started maining 2s, which is also interesting considering people start playing more 3s around where I currently sit, and I feel the need to play 2s to get that car control I've been missing due to playing nothing but 3s. Hearing that most SSLs have at least 4k+ is scary cause that means I have 2600 more hours to clock in, even though I've always been the one to reach a rank with fewer hours than average. But SSL is so joke, so I'm ready for the journey.
I got like 433 hours being Gc1 and it's due to RUclips and its content. Ur mindset and how U play the game. But how fast U get is dependant on urself Ur drive and how U train
When you hit d1 in 1v1s that’s when I think most people stop to play because you go up against people who are gc in 2s or 3s which makes 1s really hard to rank up so that’s why no one plays it that much.
im 30 hours gold 1 which fine bully me but i only got into rocket league really like 2 weeks ago because before that i was playing casual with my friends when i was like 10 and didnt understand the game but now that ive spent like 5 or so hours in game dedicated to being better ive seen major improvemnt

Im diamond 1 in 2v2s with about 80 hours... I do feel ive kinda hit a wall tho. Ive been.bouncing between plat and diamond 2 but seeming to stay at diamond1. I really need to practice longer aerials and dribbling. So far i feel ive just benefitted off taking rotations/backpost defense seriously and hitting the ball hard.
The Graph at 7:22 feels quiet accurate. I just hit 1000 hours today and i hit Diamond 3 at about 960 hours. Also the other ranks below align with what I expirienced over the past 7 Years of playing
I peaked plat 3 in 1100 matches the thing is that due to me being kbm RL is easier for the first ranks but on champ I’ll probably reach my limit due to me not being controller player
6:09 Wayton the average is above 50% because people also play matches against bots in exhibition matches. That also increases your win rate meanwhile obviously the bots won’t have any win rate.
6:00 I wanna use my public health degree for a second to help answer this question, “why did most of the respondents have above 50% win rate?” I would say the most likely explanation is people with lower win % are less likely to respond to the poll (and thusly be interested in rocket league, watching RL content, or watching your channel) than those then those with higher win % Another way to word this, is the people in your community are better on average (bc they watch ur videos to get better) I hope this helps you answer your question!
I've been stuck in Plat 2 and 3 since I picked up the game. I have about 28hrs logged so its good to know that it will just take time to get to higher ranks. Hopefully sooner or later ill be able to break into Diamond.
Biggest tip, learn to boom the ball when you need to. If you can consistently hit the ball over the head of your opponents, it gives you open nets. Also practice the "Shots You Shouldn't Miss" pack. Im Champ 2 for reference
This is pretty accurate in my case, ive got about 17k total games, started at the start or 2020, 2 years later i hit gc, 2 years later again and im ssl
I have 500 hours and I'm close to champ 1. I've been playing RL since the end of August 2022, but I don't play very competitively, I'm more in freeplay.
For my win percentage and yes! This is a year later! But it's standing rn in 58.6% at most in champ 1 -C2. Still trying to get GC1 or higher but champ for some reason has become increasingly difficult from smurfs this season. Not joking. So many smurfs I'd seen in the lower ranks. Which is dumb. But whatever the case may be! It is constant that games played does matter. My games played are only around 5k and I am only C1 - C2. So yes. Everything does matter. Statistics do not lie. But I can hang around GC1- GC2 level because I play with my friends on that same playing field on skill level wise. Which for me is easier said than done due to me playing in such high skill level lobbies it actually helps improve over time. People who are in lower skill lobbies or lower ranked lobbies SHOULD be exposed to at least 1 set of a rank above. Like if a D1-D3 is that rank. They should be exposed to C2-C3 level of gameplay to help them improve faster. Not only that but it goes for everything under SSL. Due to mainly being the fact that it helps knowing what you're going to be up against in the future but also does help improve positioning, gameplay speed (If played enough games of that same rank), reading your opponents-teammates, ETC. This is a paragraph that explains alot of how I like to have the game played for me personally because it actually helps me become a better player in the long run. :)
yeah for real, since the last 6 months the ranks got harder , it takes more practice to rank up more than ever. everything above plat now has less players in the range and everything behing plat 3 has more players than ever before. Im c2 div3 / div4 with 1500 hours. With my level now i would be gc1 propably a year ago
I'm technically new to the game as i started last December 2022. with a total of 280 Hours played im happy that i am already a Diamond rank in 2v2s while having still Plat in 1s and 3s. im very thankful to the amount of videos and trainings online it sure did help me A LOT! my next challenge would be to reach Champ before 400 hours :) Thanks for the video!
Wayton, then there’s the few like me, when I started playing Rocket all my friends were diamond and above, so for 2020-22 I was somehow initially ranked as plat even though I had absolutely no business being up that high, and eventually it showed, I made my way from plat all the way back down to bronze (way way way too many smurfs in bronze) silver was pretty easy to breeze through now in 2024 in steady at gold. Granted I was only ranked upwards of plat in (drop shot/rumble/2’s and 3’s) and as soon as I stopped only playing with my friends and started playing by my self I dropped like someone had dropped an anvil in the ocean, dropping me to a more correct rank rather than the “carried” rank, I personally feel grateful I was able to learn from better players rather than trouble shoot against people that are as bad or worse than me. But overall I guess I’m saying the time needed to hit each rank all depends on 2 main things 1) how much time and effort the player puts into rocket 2) how many smurfs are at each rank. If Psyonics could develop a means of weeding out the smurfs or have the Smurfs of each rank only play other Smurfs it would drastically change the learning/growth curve.
I have the hours played of a Diamond 2, peaked D1 in 2s back in 2018, most of my hours were spent getting scammed while trading or in training and now I came back and started plying again easily reaching Plat 3 and slowly climbing.
kinda surprised that i just now entered champ 1 and i only have 180 hours in playtime. im really proud of that bc it shows i learned and got better quick
as a plat i can in fact confirm that the majority of plats (sometimes including me) think they are 12 times better than they are or try something stupid. they never make passing plays, and more often than not just take the ball from you
Plat 2 with 1844 games played I've also been stuck in Plat for a like a month or so, so I couldn't say exactly how many matches it took but it was definitely less than that, wow
I know it’s an old vid but I just got diamond 1 in 2s an 3s under 100 hrs just started playin the game was a wz player till I got burned out on it but RL just felt good so I stuck with it.

@@felix-b4940 I'd disagree, the fewer people in a game the more valid the feedback on if you did or did not personally fuck up, as such I'd imagine people playing ones or twos would learn from their mistakes faster than those in threes

Would be interesting to see how the stats differ by region. I imagine in smaller regions especially that ranking up takes way more hours
I think it would take the same hours or less because, people have habits so they play around the same time every day so evenualy you will know the playstyle of those players and if you keep beating the same players over and over again you rank up

Cheers. Hopefully I'll hit champ at 300 hours too. ;)

I think your 55% win percentage would be due to the self selection of the data points. If you could somehow query the "master database" for 100 (or 10000) from each rank/division, you would most likely get a better data sample.

Time for the 2024 iteration
2 Notes from me:
1) I didn't participate in the survey but I am curious if players may have entered their extra modes rank as their highest rank and skewed the data.

Nice to hear that! Did you manage to get what you wished for?

484 hours in game, and 5 days time for matches played, 1568 matches and win rate of 62%, goals are 3797 and 659 assists, 2228 saves and 978 wins. My rank is Champion 1 in 2s.
I think it's interesting that pc players only rank up 6 percent faster, I thought it would be a larger difference
I switched from ps to pc and went up 3 ranks in 3 weeks
It’s probably cuz the extra ways to rank up on pc are massively boring. And starting on pc is sort of the same as starting on console since you learn to play with the input delay and low frames.
The advantage us very very low
6% is small if the hours needed is small. If it takes 100 hours to get to plat 1, 6% isnt a lot
If it takes 1500 hours to get GC, 6% is a lot more significant by comparison.
It's definitely interesting though
Oh really? I mean I don’t really practice and I’m still shit

Never felt better before having only 800 matches and being in Diamond
6:05 if u play cas u can have a bot as a tm8 and that u have 2 winners and one loser
About the win percentage => Afaik the game only adds up stats if you completely finish the game and stay until the end (Which is basically once the Winner message shows up, same goes for earining experience btw.)
So if you leave early, stats won't add up.
@@banded30099 The baseline in Rocket League is somewhat gold'ish (You also start with 600 MMR on new accounts, which is basically gold => so if you win 50% of your placement matches you are already about low gold rank)
Same goes for the soft reset every season => Everyone's MMR gets pulled closer to Gold again => So simplified, everyone above gold should have 50% winrate and everyone bellow should have below 50% actual winrate of their games.
But even with that increased winrate players have to have to rank up, a GC with 10000 games only has to overcome 1500 MMR from Bronze to GC which is like ~167 more than losses in total, which would only be a winrate of 50.8% => so that's not the full explanation for all those 56% winrates.
@@YukizzGG Gotcha. Thanks for the info man
@@YukizzGG There's several factors which contribute:

Another way to word this, is the people in your community are better on average (bc they watch ur videos to get better) I hope this helps you answer your question!
The across the board positive win% on this is pretty self explanatory. Wayton viewers don’t lose
I’m gold 1 with like 170 hours but I’ve been playing casual
i love how i'm champ 1 and have the total hours of a gc2 🔥
I should also point out I've watched a lot of videos of yours and others who've helped me get better quicker
I am extremely confused about myself now. I have 724 hours and 3290 matches player and I'm still plat
same bro
Me who champ 3 and has 312 hours 💀
I'm technically new to the game as i started last December 2022. with a total of 280 Hours played im happy that i am already a Diamond rank in 2v2s while having still Plat in 1s and 3s. im very thankful to the amount of videos and trainings online it sure did help me A LOT! my next challenge would be to reach Champ before 400 hours :)
Thanks for the video!
Same here
what the fuck bro i have 300 hours and im gold 2 on average
@@parknich081 spend more time in training, im close to reaching Diamond in 3s too now
i got to gold in 10 hours@@parknich081
@@parknich081 I reached c1 in 275 hours bro and I was chilling in casual most of the timr
But overall I guess I’m saying the time needed to hit each rank all depends on 2 main things
1) how much time and effort the player puts into rocket
2) how many smurfs are at each rank.
If Psyonics could develop a means of weeding out the smurfs or have the Smurfs of each rank only play other Smurfs it would drastically change the learning/growth curve.
I feel really good after seeing that diamond 2 is 700 hours when I'm diamond 2 with under 200 hours lol.
for the win percentage, its only your viewers, which shows they are better
Huh, apparently only have 646 hours and im Champ 2 - Grand Champ 1.
😅
how can you check hours played on console if time played isn’t accurate
Which console r u on
I have the hours played of a Diamond 2, peaked D1 in 2s back in 2018, most of my hours were spent getting scammed while trading or in training and now I came back and started plying again easily reaching Plat 3 and slowly climbing.
kinda surprised that i just now entered champ 1 and i only have 180 hours in playtime. im really proud of that bc it shows i learned and got better quick
Same got c1 in 175 hours it's pretty easy and unfortunately it's still low rank and players are really bad
bro i got to gold 2 in basketball in like 40 rounds wth
i like how teamwork goes down in platinum
This makes me pretty happy. I peaked at 1054 MMR with 524 hours played. With that being said, it’s all rotation and game sense. I have zero mechs.
Reached c1 for the first time in 275 hours 1134 mmr
2.2k matches played almost 600 hrs played at play 2 peak
No way this are real stats, I reached gc3 in 124h
Great video!:)
As a plat 3 in 3v3's (should be gold 3) with around 100 hours played I find this as a massive W
Im at 15 hours in plat, a friend introduced me to the game and explained me all the things I needed😊 to
0 cap i have like 100 hours and im plat 2/plat 3 I PROMISE
Ive never felt better about soending like 75 hours to get to Gold 2
as a plat i can in fact confirm that the majority of plats (sometimes including me) think they are 12 times better than they are or try something stupid. they never make passing plays, and more often than not just take the ball from you
Plat 2 with 1844 games played I've also been stuck in Plat for a like a month or so, so I couldn't say exactly how many matches it took but it was definitely less than that, wow
Its so funny how much harder ranking up gets. I got to c1 in under 200 hours. And now im over 1k hours at c3.
Im diamond 1 with 49 hours and 1068 matches played
I know it’s an old vid but I just got diamond 1 in 2s an 3s under 100 hrs just started playin the game was a wz player till I got burned out on it but RL just felt good so I stuck with it.
Why am I a gold 1
with only 162 and 11 hours is that bad or good that I progressed so quickly?
