Dysphoria Episodes Suck

  • After a 2-day long episode of having bad dysphoria, I am finally starting to come out of it and feel okay enough to post this video just checking in, and giving my thoughts. Still not sure what triggered it.

    De transition is not something you have to do anything special for. You don't have to dress a certain way or portray yourself in any way. Its a mindset. An acceptance of and gratitude in yourself just as you are.

    The core of your problem is your self esteem. You focus way too much on how people see you. I think you have to think about the roots of why you think this way. Because wanting to transition at the first place is an extreme decision for that obsession in particular and it reinforces it.
    It may have been caused by childhood traumas. Try to exercice yourself by shifting your perspective when you see yourself in the mirror. See your body as what it is and not what it has to be. Go outside and say to yourself that you are what you are and search for validation within yourself at first place. Do things outside of your appearance that make you pride of you. Exercice yourself at the gym also if you want to reconnect with your body and be less anxious. Also I don't know if you use social medias, but you should quit it. It plays a role in focusing too much on your body/appearance. Being also exposed to trans positive content may be really triggering to your mental health. Us as women are soooo much shamed for our bodies that we all learned to hate it and we are idolizing other bodies and especially male bodies because they are sold to us as being THE bodies that have nothing to be shamed about.
    I'm an ex dysphoric 30 years old butch woman and this is what helped me. Good luck on your path !

    I love the ginger! Glad your dysphoria episode has improved. I wonder if you are uncomfortable with being a masculine lesbian? There’s so many women that love a manly female partner. I hope you stay away from the T. You seem awesome to me. Wishing you well

    Love the colour. So you are attracted to the male physique? That doesn’t mean you should transition. It means as a female you are attracted to men. Yay. Pixie cut will be great. If you have to take a chemical to be a certain sex, that means you are not that sex. Intersex people have this problem. If you are not intersex why would you add another complication into your life?

      I'm not attracted to men, I have dysphoria around my body shape and that dysphoria is because it's not what I perceive to be masculine. If that makes sense? Which is why I'm envious of men in that regard.

      @@Rose_Knight23 you can go to the gym and do body building to add shape to your body.
