The moment Ted Cruz said "my pronouns are kiss my ass" the entire news media should have just taken him at his word. Used those as his pronouns without batting an eye in perpetuity.
"yeah ass really killed kiss role in my newest film"
Yes just like in the movie "idiocrasy" should have a bar code put on his arm so everyone knows how to pronounce.
The funny part is that he said my pronoun is and not my pronouns are so would be "ted went to the store, and kissmyass bought milk for kissmyass's wife."

The craziest thing about the litter box rumor is that it came from an edited video of a teacher who was talking about how fucked up the US school system is because she was given a bucket and litter IN CASE A KID HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM DURING A SCHOOL SHOOTING.
She was also given a first aid kit and a sharpie so she could write information on the kids for when the paramedics found them.

@Phil Davidson As in "literally nobody has been ever diagnosed with ROGD". Like, even the researchers that theorized this "social contagion illness" completely failed to examine ONE single person affected by ROGD.
@Phil Davidson Except that the researchers didn't find even just one single child who fits that description.
god i love when the person talking out of their ass, making up definitions for acronyms as if they're merrian webster themselves, is asking for a source. have you, by chance, had extended contact with a trans man before? have you ever even talked to one before? have any of them ever told you anything remotely close to your own self-proclaimed definition of a term that has no relevance or weight in the real, actual, physical world?
ROGD is a made-up term by conservative parents, mainly used as a sort of "intellectual reasoning" as to why their child "suddenly became trans." i know you don't actually understand what it's like to even be in the presence of a trans person to hear their story, let alone step into their shoes, but my conservative parents thought I had it. that it was "just a phase," that "it was brought on so suddenly," and that "they'd never seen the signs." i came out at 14, but lest i forget being as young as 6- far before getting access to the internet and far before my parents started watching conspiracy theory cable news- and wearing towels like dresses after bath time because it made me feel pretty.
you asking for sources was just incredibly ironic to me, as throughout your entire tirade through this comment section over the last few months, and over 1000 comments later, I actually haven't seen you cite a single source that wasn't from a blatant anti-trans, far-right activist who's "evidence" was either completely false, had no weight to it whatsoever, or was skewed by the fact that they picked obvious anti-trans demographics to coax their "research" into being swayed in their direction.
let me ask you a question. do you have the same favorite color as when you were, say, 10? what about your favorite food? your favorite type of music? do you realize that the human brain evolves over time? and do you realize that as the idea of being trans becomes more mainstream and more accepted, more people are starting to come out as trans, solely because the idea is becoming less stigmatized, and their thoughts and feelings are actually starting to be validated? maybe you've seen the study of what percent of people are left handed, from 1900-today. back before the 1960s, left handed people were forced to write with their right hand because being left handed was unnatural. now, today, once people stopped giving a fuck about what hand you wrote with, the percentage of left handed people skyrocketed in the following couple decades, and then plateaued, because while still uncommon, left handed people were allowed to be their fucking selves, and write with their left hand. and as soon as people like you stop ostricizing trans people and invalidating their feelings, making them feel like they have no purpose in the world simply because they don't feel like what they were born as, the percentage of LGBTQ+ people is going to skyrocket, and then plateau. because once the LGBTQ+ community can start being themselves, and not have to worry about fucktards like you contributing to trans suicide and self-harm by constantly bashing them and telling them "sorry you had to castrate yourself to feel better," maybe it'll start being safer to come out as trans, just like it became safer to write with your left fucking hand.
if that didn't answer your question, no, I don't believe whatever the fuck conspiracy theory you're trying to conjure up. I think you should stop worrying about little girls transitioning into little boys so much though. I know you're straight, and it just doesn't sit right how upset you seem to be at the fact that girls are transitioning into boys "too suddenly," "without your prior knowledge."

THEY PUT UP SECURITY GUARDS
To prevent what, 9-10 year olds from going to a different restroom?
When I was a kid, our cheap ass backwoods school had 2 bathrooms. One on each side of the entire building, full of stalls and a couple sinks
But they are now devoting actual worker hours to preventing 1 child from going where they feel comfortable.
No they’re devoting security gaurds because a girl was raped in a school bathroom by a boy who claimed to be trans, put on a dress then went into the girls bathroom and raped her. Actual children have been hurt through all this bs because of all this & as a parent I wouldn’t want any children hurt at all so it’s about time they have security. It’s just unfortunate it took a girl being traumatized for life and raped for it to happen
But the point is the girls don't want a boy in their restroom. That is what you are missing.
Right? They don't have money to feed kids who have no food, teachers have to buy classroom supplies with their own pocket money and the schoolboards are cramming 30+ kids in one class and yet they can afford some creepy dude who stands outside the washroom to serve as the Children's' Toilets Bouncer eight+ hours a day, five days a week? WTF?

I'm sure your experience is correct from your perspective. However what concerns me as a Mum. when teachers are telling kids in school to let them know what pronouns they prefer, asking if they are a boy or girl when its pretty clear who is a boy and a girl... that is creating a contagion.
@@kimmie411Knowing about pronouns isn't a social contagion any more than knowledge in general is a social contagion. And the idea that it's "clear who's a boy and a girl" is what contributes to dysphoria, when people assume who/what you are and treat you "accordingly". Nobody can turn your child trans, I assure you.
@@RojeliJeremyWebber why does it contribute to gender disphoria? We should assume everyone is not a boy or girl? Just neutral? It's not what mother nature intended. I feel for those who experience disphoria I really do and they should absolutely be included and supported but we don't need to change everything about our society for a tiny minority.
@@kimmie411 When someone is called a "she" when that someone is a "he", that makes them feel dysphoric. People use the wrong pronouns because they assume. It's human nature to make quick judgements, assumptions, and use stereotypes as a shortcut for understanding things, and I don't blame people for that. But that doesn't mean we can't change. And it's not like we'll be changing all of humanity to just have people be more thoughtful about something as simple as pronouns. There have been and still are societies which recognize more than 2 genders, there are multiple languages that accommodate different genders, and if we look back in time we can see how language has changed and evolved along with our culture. I hear people used to be against the plural "you" back in the thee/thou days! Sorry for talking for so long, I'm just trying to be as thorough as possible. Long story short, society grows and changes, though it may be scary, it's also good. And very natural.

Took me 15 years- with massive medical issue due to my uterus. The pain was debilitating, hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills, no insurance because I had trouble working, an absolute MISERY.
Fight for what you need. Talk to different doctors. If one isn’t supportive of something- go to another. Life is too precious to spend in crying in misery, wishing that the offending organ be removed. I woke up from surgery needing no pain meds- even tho it was a hip to hip cut (like a c section). I didn’t need any meds. I could have sex without pain. I wasn’t spending days in bed, unable to move, weeping.

You know what’s depressing about the “kids are using cat litter trays!” Story? It's also depressing that, as usual, those areas blame the bogeyman groups that they collectively refer to as "The Left," and act like these situations - even if true - are recent upheavals caused by upstarts.
20-25 years ago, during the decline of Mainstream Media's anti-liberal bias (yes, kids, the MSM was squarely in the right'd favour at one time!), i once saw a news special on growing decorative disfigurement trends in transhumanism (note that transhumanism has literally nothing to do with LGBTQIA+). There was a man who tatoo'd tiger stripes all over his body, cut slits at the corners of his eyes, wore feline-eye contacts, disfigured his lip clefts and filed his teeth into points. He even wore whiskers. That guy wasn't transexual or transgender (afaik), so it goes to show that human dysmorphia, odd behaviours and disfigurement are NOT attributed to sexual orientation or gender ID. It's independent. So even us normies are prone to identifying as fucking tigers.
When the attacks on Mumbai happened, a large group of people were hiding in a banquet room for a extended period at the Tah Mahal Palace Hotel. Similarly, "Healthcare is an admission of failure" is one of my favorites. It's true because the vast majority of major health problems you see, things like diabetes, obesity, many different types of cancer, all car and workplace accidents, etc, are entirely caused by environmental factors. People won't be diabetic or fat if they have access to the kinds of foods which don't slowly poison them, lung cancer exists largely because the CEOs of coal and tobacco companies are living in mansions instead of dying in ditches, car accidents happen because GM was allowed to buy and trash all of our mass transit in the 20s, and work accidents happen because the employees have forgotten the power of the picket line. All of these are problems which could be solved, and if you did, none of those people would need healthcare. She ended up having a 5th child and told the Dr if they didn't do it this time, she was going to do it herself.
I'm expecting to need a hysterectomy in a few years due to a medical condition I inherited from my mom. That condition nearly killed her when I was a toddler. I'm strategizing to get the surgery now because unlike her, I don't have three kids...which means a lot of doctors flat-out refuse to do it because it would "destroy your ability to bear children." After all, what if I someday marry a man who wants kids?
Never mind that I prefer to date women and that childbirth would most likely kill me for unrelated medical reasons. Gotta keep that hypothetical man's options open!
I *just* posted a similar comment to this effect. Didn't see yours or I would have replied here instead. I need to go through IVF just to have the smallest chance at having children, my endometriosis hurts me basically every day, what I have doesn't work anyway can't I just get rid of it? Ugh.
Thats sad. One little planet we all share,
And we can't all be free. It's past time
we kill all our gods.
Yup. My mom went in multiple times to have hers removed because she kept getting extremely painful cysts. Our "Christian" doctor wouldn't let her. Oh, gee, look at that, one of the cysts turned cancerous and she had to go through chemo and everything. Which now they're thinking it may have led to her developing the pancreatic cancer that killed her.
But yeah, sure, I can just walk into a doctor's office and get sex reassignment surgery anytime I want. Oh wait, I'm watching all of my trans friends getting pushed aside over, and over, and over, and over again.
I’m on board with everything except for the goblin shark hate

I’m a trans girl in Canada. Everything in this piece resonated with me. Thank you for boosting our voices.
I realized I was trans and came out at 21 and had to meet with a psychiatrist to get on estrogen. I will need two consults with psychiatrists, to get expensive pre-surgery treatment, and will have to wait years. Even adults have to wait, no teen is getting this stuff so soon.
I was years in finally being prescribed estradiol, though I will add part of that was concerns with other health issues (clotting issues, estrogen potentially making it worse, etc).
I more or less knew around.. mm.. age 24-25, when the world went from everything being self-contained, to suddenly having the internet at ones fingertips (late 90s), but I didnt come out for about 15 years, and am regretting every day I missed
Good luck on your journey. Do you happen to know if there are Canadian charities that can help with these expenses?
@@ashleyp6591 From my understanding, the transitional surgeries themselves (bottom, top) should be covered by canadian health care, assuming one has the guidance from a doctor and/or psychologist (who basically has to 'prescribe' it or whatever). Pre-transitional Im less sure on

When I was fifteen, I was more concerned about being expelled bc I refused to stop arguing with teachers about using science textbooks from the 70s, when my mom's college textbooks proved mine were outdated. I brought in proof and was still failed. I was physically bullied by male students and was given detention, suspended, and threatened with expulsion for fighting back after my nose and cheekbone we're broken by said male student...who was on the football team...yeah the whole thing is dumb. We had a couple of boys who used the girls bathroom a few times. Only one of them was a creep and we all knew who that individual was. There are bigger problems.

Bearded dragon owner here. I have one named Frank after my favorite architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Bearded dragons are omnivores. I typically feed him crickets and mealworms for meat, lettuce and kale for hydration and greens, and blueberries and strawberries. I especially love it when he eats blueberries because it looks like he's wearing lipstick.
When he's not chilling on his hammock in his enclosure, I let him climb onto me and up to my shoulders. When it's hot out, I bring another enclosure and take him outside. I let him explore the grass (though he doesn't exactly move much), and when he's done, I place in a different enclosure so he doesn't move anywhere. His indoor enclosure is right next to a window and he loves to birdwatch from his hammock.
Thank you! This is the post I was looking for (what DO they eat?) Lol. :)
Interesting insight into bearded dragon lore
Hell yeah, Frank Lloyd Wright was the shit. Pioneered the use of rubble trench foundations for houses, which is cheaper and uses less concrete. That kicks ass.

He's getting old now, will be turning 9 in December. Stopped eating crickets ages ago and is now exclusively on morios and salad. Still surprisingly active though!
20:40 He's 100% right. The smallest, simplest notions towards who we are make our days. People always think we want to be the center of attention for being trans, but in reality I hate it when someone looks at me and tells me that they support trans people. It's old, it's tired, and I don't need to be told. If you respect who I am, I promise you I'll be happy and recognize your support. I love that more people are realizing that we just want to be ourselves. I haven't changed who I am, I've become who I always was.

The same “increase” is with women now able to get mental health diagnoses that were overlooked due to confirmation bias of the DSM-4 and little girls able to finally get correct diagnoses that will help them live better and easier lives overall. It’s not the case that all women are suddenly now autistic or have ADHD. It will level out someday too!
I remember being considered a super-rare case of ADHD as a little girl, when I was diagnosed, back in the 70's because it was considered a "boys" disease!
You can't be more wrong than that, everything in all those DSMs are fake, fabricated imaginary "mental illnesses" - everything in psychiatry is pseudoscientific fraud!
reminds me of the graph that showed left-handedness in america. suddenly so many people seemed to be left-handed except it wasn’t sudden they just weren’t being punished for it anymore
A 4000% increase as what happened in the Tavistock’s GIDS? Really? I get it that numbers can increase due to factors such as greater awareness and a change in diagnostic criteria, but given this sharp increase you are not at least a bit curious to know if there is more going on here?

I changed my name when I found out I wasn't a girl at 4, and started going by it again when I was comfortable socially transitioning after 6 years on hormone therapy, when I was 27.
My identity as a person and an individual was packed up and stored away for over twenty years, like old clothes in the attic.
What person in their right mind wants that for any child, especially their own?
Yes, children have gender identities. This includes children who don't even know what the differences between sexes are.
My partner is going through a rough situation and was talking to his mom today. We were on a call because he wanted to bounce messages off of me so he doesn't get disowned by his mom too, but in one of his mom's messages, she referred to him as her son. I'm sure you know this, but if someone else doesn't, the "red pill/blue pill" is this exact allegory: Lilly Wachowski explained that she was looking one day at two pills: A blue pill, her antidepressent, she could choose to swallow that, to continue to live a lie, and a red pill, estrogen, which was the pill she could take to live her truth and begin her transition to her true self.

My kindergarten teacher would force me to use my right hand with pretty much anything that required one-handedness. My mother bought me a pair of left-handed scissors and this teacher would make me use them with my right hand, effectively rendering them useless.
