Thank you Jeff for this sober and much needed analysis. The politics of the street have played a crucial and hugely important part in educating and galvanising millions around the Palestine cause - BUT - as you have so carefully elucidated, a ceasefire and some humanitarian aid cannot be allowed to be the end game. One democratic state as you have advocated must always be in our sights. The Arab nations collaborating with Israel must be shamed/pressurised into desisting. A long journey awaits the struggle.
