When a US President visits the US DOD and such security measures are rolled out i find this to be borderline ridiculous. It is not taking an impromptu walk but this is a well guarded environment plus the eyes from the well trained US Secret Service. I miss Pres Trump and his defense policies. I recently flew from Tri-Cities Airport in Washington State where General Mattis lives. He was on the flight as I was heading to the Delta Sky Club in Salt Lake he was on the escalator just ahead of me. I was stunned to see him so closely as well as at the desk checking into the sky club. He is in excellent shape. A Marine till the end. Nothing like our current Secretary of Defense.
