Thanks for visiting Kolašin :) it is a lovely area, small lively town in summer and winter, slow pace of life and beautiful nature. I bought an apartment in Kolašin town centre just over two years ago and prices have pretty much doubled in that time!
@@ajdrums8075 Bansko has great bargains due to the bust in the market and redoing projects that ran out of funds. Kolašin is mostly new builds pushed with Government support, and a goal on tourism, so it has a lot of upside. Homes though will probably be less in Bansko. Ski prices seem lower in Kolašin.
Hi Warren and Julie, all these home seem unfinished, like cables hanging out etc. What would be the additional cost ot finish them up, like bathrooms, bedroom and other.
The cables hanging out etc is very inexpensive to finish however some are still being finished. Kitchens can be purchased very inexpensively One of my neighbors put one in that is similar to IKEA including appliances for under €3k
I've researched that place quite a bit. Seems like a great place to get in early. If my family could pull it off financially, that's probably where we'd end up.

That’s a very expensive apartment for the Balkans but maybe prices there like in the USA have become much more expensive and I’m sure the demand has shy-rocked too.

My friend lives in Serbia and they also have a mountain area with spas that is growing. Not sure if they have skiing too.
It’s probably Zlatibor Serbia, an area we love. We spoke a bit about Kolašin being the next Zlatibor in this video.

The summers are excellent as well as the spring and fall. The winter is quite cold.
