Not sure if I should be honored or mad about using my clips without permission. In the Kitzbühel section there are at least 4 clips that are mine. I don't know what is YT policy about using other people's material (because I never do it), but it would be nice if someone would actually contact the owner, or give them some credit at least. Not to mention the fact that at the end of the video you are talking about Ischgl but have no problem continuing showing my clips from Kitzbühel. I am not trying to be a d... but use of intelectuall property without permission is a problem.
I think it's ok to use others footage and credit but not to use for monetizing your page. If RUclips are okay with this then they are encouraging people to just sit and edit other people's footage to increase the content on there site.
i learnt to ski in st anton the ski schools amazing and there’s loads of fun things to do while you learn i think is good all around been going for like 20 years every year probably still be going when i’m 50 it’s an amazing place
Schmittenhöhe, kitzsteinhorn and saalbach-hinterglemm are pretty well linked together. One ticket for all 3 ski areas, ski buses between them and you can even ski from saalbach-hinterglemm to schmittenhöhe!
I visited Kitzski last year, and while it is an excellent ski resort, SkiWelt, that's it a 10-minute drive from Kirchberg, was absolutely amazing. Loved it.
I was this January at SkiWelt, shame it is not mentioned here but also spent one day in KitzSki, it is also very good place to ski, smaller than SkiWelt but with comparable quality. However I would value SkiWelt higher. Then both complexes located couple of minutes far away makes it one of the most attractive resorts.
St. Anton!! Skied many ski resorts in Europe & this is my favorite. Nice people, great food (love their Germknödles), fair prices & miles/km of fantastic skiing, including heli skiing. ⛷ Zurs & Lech are also part of the resort. Nice village with plenty to do. Grüße ski instructers. 😂😂❤❤❤😢
Ischgl is a great place but if you want a bit of less crowded skiing get on the free shuttle and go to See. See is not a huge place but the slopes OMG and the free ride slopes you get those all by your self. I my 25 years of alpine skiing this is where I have tracked the fastest runs and longest total run of one day. Simply because the slopes are super wide and well groomed and there were no ques at the lifts. It was ski in ski out at all lifts. Make better use of you expensive ski pass by going to Galtü, Kappl and See. You can always return to Ischgl to get hammered if that is you thing.
Really nice presentation ! Thankmyou for the details and pictures/Videos of the stations :) I am french and looking to try out ski in Austria so I needed this so bad.
You completely missed out on the rest of the Arlberg with Lech Zürs in the center and their connections to ski to Warth and St. Anton. Also Bregenzerwald is a special region with plenty of snow and great skiing options like Mellau/Damüls
Is much English spoken in Bregenzewald though? I did look into it it, but I couldn't find a way to get there. Also, shhhhhh! 🤐🤫 let people go to Zell Am See instead. 😂😂
#10 & #8 seem the most promising. Family trip w/ kids. Beginning/intermediate skiers. Would you agree? We like calmer, more peaceful places 😊. Awesome video, thanks!!
Sorry you missed Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with 220 Kilometers up to 2820 m one of the best ski regions in the austrian alps and in all european resorts test under the top 10
I don't like St. Anton. Maybe i have had bad luck with lousy prepared slopes or they have too many slopes for a rather small ammount of grooming machines. Mayrhofen (connected with Finkenberg, Penken and Eggalm... Great Ski ressort. Nearby Ressorts are great too: Zillertalarena-Königsleiten-Gerlosplatte, Hochfügen-Hochzillertal), Sölden and Bad Gastein is fantastic too.. I greatly miss my favorites Damüls-Mellau, Silvrettanova-Hochjoch, and Wilder Kaiser (Especially Scheffau and Ellmau Part). Obertauern is not mentioned too . If you like the charme of smaller ski areas with easy slopes, try Zugspitzarena with the areas Leermoos, Ehrwalder Alm, Ehrwalder Zugspitzgebiet, Biberwier, Berwang-Bichlbach.
I personally would not recommend Kitzbühel for family/beginners... the level of blue slopes is much harder than many resorts in Austria in my experience and the crowd it attracts is maybe the least family focussed of any ski place I've been in Europe or the USA. (I live nearby and ski regularly)
i wrote these out on a list before i saw your video and got it pretty much all right. except Innsbruck. not really a ski resort is it? more a town IMO, to launch to resorts nearby. say like Grenoble in France. Anyway, good job. agree with your selection, good overview. altho i did see a pic of the Matterhorn didnt I ?? yes 0:25 ! switz pics shouldn't be in this vid. lol.
Snow Space Slazburg and Skiwelt arent in Top 10. Good! You could question Schmidtenhöhe Standing on this list. A good replacement cloud be serfaus fiss ladis. But the others are well picked. You can clearly see, that expert slopes and terain are taken into account. + Mayrhofen realy is the best of all Zillertal resorts. Well done this one.
Can anyone recommend a cheap place to ski/snowboard for a group of friends in their 20’s who are complete beginners and want a half decent nightlife doesn’t have to be crazy just not dead - we don’t want to go in the insanely high peak season.
We go to Soll in a group of 30 women every year. A lot of English speakers go. Some easy blues in Emlu for learners. Some English bands play every year. Cheap too. Get the train from airport.
Innsbruck. Very young city due to 1/4 of the 130.000 people there being university students, nice nightlife not too big not too small also very picturesque and just a vibe during christmas time. Also areas closer to Innsbruck like Schlick 200, Axamer Lizum, Patscherkofel, etc.aren‘t that big and expensive some even having half day tickets and there also being options that can make skiing rather cheap the more you go.
I went to kaprun years ago. Sking was awfull. I swear the first bar I went into was a brothel. They were all over us offering it all.. At a cost obviously. Few bars later was some real fucked up blue oyster leather pants swinger bar. Really dodgy place and after a long night out the last bar I went in was a strip club. Not bothered by it all but seemed a seedy place and a sking was not all that. Bad gastien slopes were average and the town itself was boring. Also is snowed alot the one day and had a great powder day. A storm came in and some lifts shut down. It was carnage averyone waiting for 1 drag lift and sking down in the dark! But I did go to Hockonig a few miles away and that sking was really good. Really well looked after slopes. A honest opinion.
@@tsvstefan9704 Perhaps, but there's still a significant proportion of ghastly Brits who can't see beyond the dreadful resorts of Three Valleys and Val D'Isere. If they actually knew how much better Austria is, we might have to out up with them too.

Agree with St. Anton because of connection with Lech. But man??? Where is Serfauss-Fiss-Landiss??? Or small ones like Kreischberg?
I can personally attest to Ischgl Austria 🇦🇹 having supper slopes and one of the best winter party atmospheres that I’ve ever experienced.
Ischgl is a great place but if you want a bit of less crowded skiing get on the free shuttle and go to See.

Serfaus / Fiss / Ladis should be in top 5
Moltaler Gleitscher is the best! Sunny, funny and not crowded place in Austria. Lovely !
Don't forget Montafon - especially Gargellen & Golm 😃
Not a bad review, only for me personally Sölden is 1. or maybe 2.
Sölden is the best skiresort in Austria 🇦🇹 👍💪

yes but its connected and the "same Resort" Like in Bad Gastein you could also mention Bad Hofgastein.
Your right
always wanna go skiing in Austria Alps
Serfaus??? Base in Ried in Inntal you have Serfaus, Kaunertal, Nauders and Samnaun. Could you give me some better option?
#10 & #8 seem the most promising. Family trip w/ kids. Beginning/intermediate skiers. Would you agree? We like calmer, more peaceful places 😊.
Awesome video, thanks!!
I would recommend Fiss/Ladis or Montafon to you! Peacefull and very Family friendly.
Incredible shots and amazing landscape! These resorts are truly magnificent. Well done! 😊😊👍👍
Not including Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in the top ten ranking should be considered a joke rather than a credible compilation.
Sorry you missed Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with 220 Kilometers up to 2820 m one of the best ski regions in the austrian alps and in all european resorts test under the top 10
WOW WOW WOW !!!
You were not able to name a single resort correctly! You are an expert 🎉😂
to me it sounded like an AI voice, too robotic and yes getting a lot of them wrong!
Love Mayrhofen ❤❤❤ You didn’t mention Soll which is also a great Austrian resort.
Lech gets the vote of this Intermediate.
My favorite is Ski Amade 👍🏻
1. Zauchensee Flahauwinkl
2, Kaunertal
3. Pitztal
4. Hintertux
5. Zell am See
6. Hauser Kibling/Planai
7. Saufaus Fiss Ladies
8. Kitzsteinhorn
9. Flahau Wagrain
10. Dachstain West
Where is Serfaus Fiss Ladis in this list? Huge area, great apres, an hour from Innsbruck.
hai dimenticato Serfaus, forse la migliore sia per le famiglie che per gli amanti dello sci ripido
This Christmas we are going to no 6 resort 🎿⛷
Would love to go to ischgl!
St Anton looks fun too!
I want to go! 🚠⛷🙏
I learnt to ski in St Anton
Where to go from there 😂
same 😂
True. 👍 😂❤❤❤

Love this list, although I'm surprised Steinplatte isn't on the list. Just saying!
What’s happening there? Was there as a teen many many years ago..

What is wrong with Snow Space Salzburg and Skiwelt?
What about Pizztal Glacier?
Ischgl also takes the first place for most people on the slopes :(
I was not that impressed with the ski slopes there.
Serfaus/Fiss ?
Obergurgl have up to 3200 meters

Lech Zürs ?
its the same resort as St. Anton... just different villages
obergurgl doesn’t reach 1900 metres, it begins at 1900 metres
I never saw well prepared slopes in Austria.
Hvor kommer du fra?
ZURS!!!!….better than St. Anton.
We’ll it’s all part of the Arlberg, it’s all connected. But yes Lech and Zürs are nicer towns.
You didn't mention Lech???? You didn't know Austria!!
