Teaching is something that never gets forgotten. When there are off days and slow days videos like this mean a lot to the viewers. I commented last week requesting a video exactly like this video. Although this video was probably already in the works seeing you make content on stuff people request is amazing. Life by the bow is for the people. This video might not catch the attention of all your viewers but it means a lot to those who it love to learn. You are a great businessman and teacher.
Been watching y’all for some time and I hope you realize the years your adding to peoples lives. It’s so nice after a hard days work to throw the earbuds in and “leave” for a little while. Very good videos. Very informative. We sincerely appreciate your attention to conservation and safety. Just a sidebar comment…If you require prescription eye glasses, it’s wise to have a extra pair. Thanks y’all, keep it up!
Thank you for the video. I am always learning something every time a watch a video or go on the water. One of the things I always wonder when I'm land locked is what do people carry in their backpacks. That has carried over into what are the must have items on a small boat when going out for a day of fun or a day of serious fishing. I am going to take this information you provided and build my "Go Bag" for the boat. Thank you. I mostly enjoy you boating and fishing videos of the Keys since it is more suitable and obtainable for the amateur or weekend warriors as one might say. The Bahamas not so much doable. Thanks again and hopefully I'll see you on the water.
I really enjoyed this video. I live in south Louisiana and would like to start offshore fishing more. I especially like how the information on what you use is cut and dry. This is what you use and works for you. Very much appreciate this video!
Great video! I especially like the setting up of your boats and fishing gear. After an absence of being on the water for several years, I am rebuilding my boat and have taken many of your suggestions into how it is being set up.
Wise beyond your years Clay! This video alone as a guide for newer Keys anglers will go a long way for their safety and success. It took me 60 years by the Brail method to learn what is already second nature! Top notch review.

Hi! Just stumbled across your videos as I was looking for a tropical visual vacation today. So cool all the content your putting out. I've been watching all afternoon! Love, from SW Michigan.
Great video! When I first moved down to the Keys, I thought how fishing should be so easy because its the Keys. I couldn’t have been more wrong as there are so many ins and outs as you know. Like you, I spent endless hours on the water without much success. The details in your video will shorten the learning curve and help folks dial in much faster! Great Job! Hi Guys, I may be your no. 1 fan in Los Angeles. I am probably the only one here wearing your shirts. This is a serious comment. My heart is in the keys and everglades and I fished there for weeks at a time before I unfortunately had kidney failure and ended up in dialysis. I think that your site would be greatly enhanced if you added fly fishing to your repertoire. it isn't that difficult and you are in the center of the fly fishing world. Adding bonefish, tarpon, permit, snook and redfish you would greatly increase your subscriber numbers. most of your viewers are already fly fishers. I am sure you know a captain down there who could teach you the basics of casting. I have hundreds of flats flies and if you do decide to add fly fishing I will send you a few dozen to get you started. Without being too negative the shows are beginning to be repetitive. Please consider this suggestion. Thanks, Gary Fogel, long time subscriber.
Thanks for your suggestions Gary, and sorry to hear about your kidney failure. We actually just got off a plane from Andros fly fishing for bonefish. Unfortunately we got rained out but that’s okay. Sorry you feel that there’s repetition.

What is your go to rod to pair with the Penn Slammer reel? I am pretty sure you mentioned in your other videos. Also, for the Penn Slammer, do you think the high speed version is necessary?
