Kool. I was just here on Sunday and It was crowded.. Believe it or not there were Pompano and some Cero's. None for me though but i did get some nice grunts, Lookdowns and Yellow jacks.
Lucky! Was just at Dunedin causeway and I haven’t seen any mangroves, sheep’s, pomp. Just grunts and pinfish🤦♂️ slowest I’ve seen it there in a few months
Great video Bush, mutton after mutton nice… I’m also planning a trip there one of these weeks, always have a blast there. Let me know if you head there again I know the honey hole 👍🎣
@@FishOnChannel I can do Friday Saturday or Sunday, I usually leave very early in the am, my shrimp guy there opens 4am so that works good. Let me know ur availability
Bush you can get that chum bag against the old bridge where it's not flowing. And it won't be in your way and it gets dispersed properly brings them in closer
@FishOnChannel Yeah, if you're still in Marathon, try channel #2 bridge. It has better tidal flow. Yellow jacks love it. Channel #5 is pretty much like long key bridge.
@@garrybriggs2938 appreciate you watching. Medium rod on 3000 size reel, medium heavy on 5000 size reel, and heavy rod on 8000+ size reel and you are good for all kind of fishing💪💪
🌴 well my friend that was a long drive , but at least ya didn’t get skunked , would of like to see ya hook a bridge monster but the fishing gods weren’t on your side today, when saw your post I thought you were going to the skyway. The weather is holding so things could pick up a bit, great vid as always , are you going to fish there for a couple of days ? It might be worth while to try around the docks 🤔 have fun ,be safe 👍🏼
Hey Bush ,not sure where you go for bait but Tavernier normally has nice big live shrimp . Would love to meet up and fish with you one day in the Tampa area. You fish all my spots already 😂 but you're all over the place and I always miss you out there . And don't worry , I don't have a channel to compete with but I catch fish
I like your video. How about a little different method/approach? "Skinny Water" Instead of big bridges how about seeking narrow bridges canals inlets? Look at it like a highway. Narrower the better. Fish CANNOT get in or out through that "highway" if you block it off with baits. Can be statically done esp with 2-3 people literally blocked off. FORCE them through your baits. Mapping the area helps a ton to find these spots
What is this bridge called buddy please? I wanna plan a trip out there was just at the sky way bridge cause if you would love to go out there next please and thank you!
Hit up the bpk bridge and summerland key bridge at night. OR during the day go grab a live mullet from the bait lady in marathon on the south end(live bait sign) and toss it at the 8ft migrating tarpon during the day. They wont eat anything else. They'll take a gog too but you have to catch those offshore at night. The pins work 100 times better at night. I enjoy it just as much if not more than offshore for AP's and Sails. A DOA shrimp will light up the tarpon at night too
@@FishOnChannel Yeah I saw guys posting they were killing them on long key this week. I might take a few days off and go down on my kayak tomorrow. U should do a kayak trip too. 👍🏿
Why the hell are you fishing for if you throw good eating fish back! What are you trying to catch??? What is the legal size? Muttons are great eating???😮😢
I'm so jealous. Meanwhile back in Tampa only pinfish are bitting
Haha next month my friend 😀💪

I love the Keys. I fished that bridge back in October. Long key bridge is awesome!
Is very enjoyable little far but worth it 💪

Always a bummer when no keepers but it makes up for it to be catching fish non-stop! Not bad at all.
Is OK we are going to get them nest time

What is that line of rope tied off on the bridge going into the water for?
Chum bag to bring the fish close by 💪
Reel nice Bush! What size reel were you using to pull up those fish?
Where do you usually stay in the keys? Or you drive back home the same day?
Usually I stay around Miami too expensive to get a place at keys😀
What pound main line u use on your reel ?
20 and 10
When are we fishing in captive 😎
What bridge is that?
Long key bridge 💪
Go back at night with pins and drop them right under the bridge, no weight. Big mangos plus tarpon
Thank I will try that next trip 😀💪
