It is hard to tell the difference sometimes, good points from you Bush thank you. Kings are definitely here then gotta try for some tomorrow, tight lines buddy 🎣
@@FishOnChannel I had a blue runner on for kings a few years ago on the North pier and hooked a huge cobia. Could not land it though, it broke 60 lbs test mono. Same thing happened to me while fishing one of the channel buoys near Egmont Key. The guided boat not far from us hooked a sailfish. You never know what will hit a free lined blue runner or small jack.
🌴Hey my friend well another successful day on the water and you’ve educated some people 👍🏼 did you see anyone catch any big kings , did you see any more tarpon rolling ? Was flipperbeing a pain in the azz 😆
99% of the people who are fishing can't tell the difference between a Spanish mackerel and a juvenile King mackerel. An easy ticket from the FWC if they get caught.
@@FishOnChannel Wow! The current fine for undersized fish is $100 per fish. But "Florida law groups fish and wildlife violations into four different categories by severity. Violations of the FWC rules involving undersized fish are level two violations. A first conviction for an undersized fish offense is a second degree misdemeanor, punishable by 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. " The judge in Tallahassee decides what the final punishment will be.
@@TB-xw3vo it's even worse at Ft. DeSoto. Some people fish with sabiki and keep every fish they catch, regardless of specie, number and size. One summer I saw two guys spearfishing snook and snapper by the jetty. There were a ton of people at the beach. I called the FWC but the poachers left by the time the FWC got there.
I know right. Every time I see these guys on the ledge it makes me me nervous for them. One little slip and I am sure the bull sharks might find a tasty snack out in the water.

No big Kings, tarpon bite is being really good on the night hours 😀💪
@FishOnChannel, another great video! You're brave to be up on that ledge!
By the way, how do you catch the sardines?
Thank you, cast netting or sabiki for them
Are you typically fishing the north or south Skyway Pier? Thanks in advance!
South is my favorite more option 😀💪
Where do I go to find the new “educational” requirement to fish on Skyway? I can’t find it on on Florida wildlife site. Thx!
Don't worry much about it nobody checks
Hey Bush, what brand is your bait bucket? I’ve been meaning to ask for a while now. Do you recommend it or another brand? Fish On 🎣
yeti bucket one of the best in my opinion 😀💪

FWC barely checks anything at the skyway. People get away with a lot. I always see people using little lane snapper as bait
Last year a guy got in trouble on the north side 15 illegal kingfish ☹️

Gotta generate revenue for the state somehow...🤔 🐟 💰
Another fun day never wasted because we learn knowledge to apply on the next journey!
Appreciate you watching 😀💪
Mackerels Havnt been out for me at the skyway
It's been hit or miss lately
Spanish mackerels has to be one of the most bloodiest fish to catch.
They do bleed pretty easy
Hi Bush. What day was this?
Last week
So risky to run on the edges! For real, is there any ladder to go back on the peer? or need to sweem to the shore? Take care, Bush!
nop lol
If you fall off the pier , how would you get back up ?
Haha depends which way the current is going lol
Best time it’s the morning?
Where u get the sardines
there on the pier plenty
What pound leader on the medium size??
20
@@FishOnChannel u r a GENTLEMAN!
It kind of sucks that you can’t use more than one pole anymore.
Usually that's all I use one when bite is good that's all you need 😀💪
So, if I wanted to shark fish while mackerel fishing, I couldn’t do that anymore?
You can, allow 2lines in a water per person. Nobody checks people use five rods
@@FishOnChannel 3 for me, one zbinki rig, one target species and one with big bait! 🤷🏼♂️
I'm have some luck freshwater fishing we ith live bait fish and cutbait fish fishing
I need to make a freshwater video soon
Bro,,, Dont fall!!!

Haha one day you going to see me on news swimming on the skyway bridge 😀

from my understanding benitas are not good eating fish, why are you looking to catch them? to use for bait for other fish? cheers
Good fighting fish and a lot of people like to keep and eat them.
And worms also
Good luck saltwater fishing
