That’s crazy dudes! We were just there in Marithon for the Memorial Day weekend. It was nice and the frighten iguanas were huge! I’m from Jacksonville Florida and have never seen an iguana before in the wild.

It's been 25 years but, I remember taking a boat back into the water near Cudjoe Key and just slaying them. Didn't have a cast where we didn't catch fish. There were five of us...one guy didn't catch any though...bad energy? We hauled in around 50 fish...had a hell of a fish fry that night.

BBR Assault is an awesome rod. I have one and it’s one of my favorite rods. Perfect for the Chesapeake Bay here in Maryland. A lot of MD anglers are starting to use BBR.

Great video, I live here in the panhandle, and fish anywhere from narvarre to Panama City, chasing pompanos , reds, whiting's jacks ,kings,, but nothing compares to the fishing in my hometown , the Florida keys, it's a different fishing world there , and it's all about live and fresh dead bait there , instead of plastic here,, got to get back down there and on some monster mangroves, & mutton snappers,, Thanks for taking me back for Now,,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,

Hell yeah, if you can get a hold of some live mullet , or even some grunts, it's on, some of the bait stores down there in key Largo carry them, before u start hitting the Bridges, and if u want to go another route u can always bring u a cast net , and catch your own around the card sounds road area , on the side of the road, I want u to experience catching one of those two hundred pound tarpons , and they are all around the bridges from channel 2 to long key to Marathon to key west,,,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,

Most of the fish in the cooler were Garbage fish. Try snorkling VACA CUT bridge at slack tide. You will only get 12 or 15 minutes of the lull but the fish there will blow your mind. Nice video thou. I fish now under the Big Titusville bridge on the north end. Go at night for schrimp and make a video.

We r from Naples area and my buddy who fishes alot went to the Keys and Bridge fished and he said it was crazy the action and fish he caught !!! Permit ,snapper ,,yellow jack,,Cuda,,And there were big tarpon ,,sharks n goliaths all around he said it was Crazy Good action !!!
As far as most fish I've caught we got 69 yellow trout up in Steinhatchee and it took about 3 hours for 2 of us to clean them all !!! But we definitely had a ton of meat !!!
Ya man there were so many fish. Threw at some permit and cudas but no luck hooking them

I was born and raised in the Keys (upper) I even retired from the sheriff office there. My two boys still live there.
For live shrimp you should go to y and L king of seas, they sell them for like 3.99 or 4.99 a dozen depending on the time of year and the shrimp are really lively.

Those bullbay rods are the shit. I live by them so it makes it hard to buy anything else. That sniper rod is fun to catch large fish on it

Great vid Brad! I'm interested, do you teach your kids fishing yet? I have two grown boys, one is a Hell of a sportsman, takes deer in the fall and fish in the spring and summer. The other chases skirts but we'll be kind and call him a sportsman too.Just wondering at what age you would teach your kids to fish?
