- The question is.. Is this the best pump for the money on Amazon? Well, let's get into that. I'll let you be the judge.
I got this pump off Amazon about 4 years ago. What do I think about it now? Well, at 195 bucks shipped prime, its tough to beat. Nothing else really in that price range that has any real sales history. Ya know, with this Chinese stuff, they know how to build stuff the same, over and over again. They make some good stuff, but you have to sift through a lot of garbage to find the gems. Once they get something right, they really get it right. I think this pump is one of those gems. They have been selling them for more than 4 years and they have them really nailed down now. Развлечения
Did it come with both of the hoses? And if not could you possibly refer me to where you purchased those? Thanks! Great video.
I bought then separately. Many sets availible on Amazon that include both suction hose and lay-flat hose. Just need to decide the lengths you want. Both are 2 inch with cam lock ends.
Very informative video. I bought mine chinese made 6.5hp. may i ask whats the specifications of your fire hose nozzles?
This is what I used for the demonstration

Great video thanks for sharing.. just curious what fire nozzle you purchased?
Hi Al, thanks for the compliment. Still figuring this out. I bought the nozzle on amazon for $28 and included the cam lock coupler. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.amazon.com/RosyOcean-Thermoplastic-Equipment-Industial-Aluminum/dp/B08B1P9TSK&ved=2ahUKEwjq09yQpfTtAhUBs54KHW9ZBHoQFjAAegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw06FfPXj0wK20tyC9Iz0iAM
I am trying to buy a petrol water pump here in the UK to drain a flooded garden. My problem is the sellers do not think this type of pump will work with a flat hose 60 metres long as I need to get the water safely out in to the road drains. The 60 metres to the road is level. Any thoughts on what you think the maximum length of hose would be? The pump I was considering is a 3" outlet 6.5HP one.
@Trevor Matthews , I don't see why the hose being flat or 180 meters would really matter. Head pressure is the biggest factor to consider. There are certainly some losses associated with distance due to inside turbulence but I don't that would be an issue with 180ft (60 meters), especially considering you have a level run. Check the return policy of the seller you consider. In my experience, I would feel pretty confident about it working fine. One more note: I've personally dealt with Chinese manufacturers and Chinese sellers online. They often sell what they can make money on but have no clue about how the product will function in the field. It sounds made up but this is real :)
It will be fine. I have a 3inch ine on 100 metres uo hill
1 liter gas how many hours to run?
The tank lasts about 3-4 hours
From what I’ve read the motor is American built in America
I have this pump. It runs for a few minutes and shuts off. It just started doing this today. It’s ran like a top every other time I’ve used it. You ever had any issues with this on yours?
No, but sounds like running out of fuel. Maybe check if the strainer at the fuel valve in the tank is plugged. Sounds like it is running off what’s in the float bowl till it runs out. Slowly refills through a partly plugged fuel line or strainer.
Has anyone figured out if the Chinese motor for the duramax products are actually interchangeable with Honda parts?
This is going to make or break me buying from them.
The Pumps Made by loncin are interchangeable with Honda engine parts.
What's the psi of the pump
I think about 35-40psi
I don’t understand pump I need 1 to pump water 300feet up a steep hill any recommendation please???
If it’s 300ft of elevation, that takes a special high pressure pump or multiple pumps in line.
300 ft head pressure is about 130psi
High pressure pumps are tricky to use and expensive.
I’ve used 2 of the pumps shown in this video with one at the bottom of the hill and one part way up to boost the pressure. I was pumping from a pond to another pond 200ft up the hill (hose was close to 800 feet long). Not perfect, but works.
I believe if you reduce the line size down you can get more head height
@@cowboyV2 thanks alot

DuroMax is American not Chinese
