Many gm under 2013 required gds2 is that a clone or own?
Its a clone ,If you watch till the end i did said it was a clone and yes some do some dont require the gds2
The transmission in my H2 is in trouble, any recommendations on a new transmission for it??
What’s wrong with it?I had mine rebuilt a while ago for about 1k$ US ... to be honest Im not really familiar with other options but some shops do offer to rebuild the 4L60E with better than stock parts for longer life obviously that comes at a higher price .. but again if you just rebuild it with stock parts you should be fine . @@dailydrivenH2 I'm actually not sure what's wrong with it yet, it gave out on my dad while he was driving it but fortunately he was right next to a Chevy dealership so he just coasted in and they took it and said they'll have their transmission specialist look at it Monday. All the transmission oil spilled all over the road as well.
Well Gm dealers do offer rebuild options and a good warranty. I just didn’t want to spend 3500k on a transmission thats why I went with a smaller shop instead.
@@dailydrivenH2 Just found out it needs to be replaced 😕 dealership wants $3,600. Calling around now weighing out my options.
Do your quick local research usually local shops do it for less with shorter warranty like a year or 12k miles from 1k to around 2k$ unless you are looking to use upgraded parts that may go up in price.
Does a Tech 2 do a throttle or idle relearn on the H2?

@dailydrivenH2 A Tech 2 possibly. A Hummer no. I have an 05 Tahoe that I'd like to do an idle relearn on and can't seem to find a scanner to do it. I'm wondering if it's even possible at this point

Go to the acdelco website and andur subscriptions there should be an option to obtain the latest software. Or just google acdelco Tech2 update

Not anymore sold it a while ago. It was getting too hard to figure out a few electrical issues and decided to let it go .

If you watch the video I clearly said they are clones. The authentic Tech2 is upwards of 1k$ .
