    Use 'wide' switch mode, then go to the wifi update page of the receiver and remap channel 5 output to channel 6 and you'll get another proportional channel.

      Hey there - I know you asked a year ago, but I am just finishing up my first HD FPV plane build, and it was about $1,200 from nothing to airborne.
      $350 DJI Goggles V2
      $220 DJI O3 Air Unit
      $120 Radiomaster Zorro
      $40 ELRS Module
      $100 ZOHD Drift PNP (the plane bit)
      $40 SpeedyBee Flight Controller
      $100 (2) 2S1P Batteries
      $60 LiPo/LIon Charger
      $50 Soldering Kit
      $50 Wire (12g/14g)
      In addition to this, it also took maybe 20 to 30 hours of research and learning.
      Cheers!

    Think I'll stick with my Crossfire on 900mghz at 2,000 mws....
    The problem with all these units is not the range, but the tiny solder pads, lack of standardization of connectors, assanine binding procedures, and lack electrical insulation around the naked circuit boards.
    Since ExpressLRS brings nothing new to the table to address those problems, I see no reason to chance just for marginal lower cost.

    • @shaneintegra
      @shaneintegra Год назад +3

      $50 1w ELRS module
      $208 2w Crossfire module
      Pretty sure if my math is correct thats a big margin. ELRS is still new, and open source for the community to work on and improve on. ELRS doesn't make those RX's... the companies who used the free software made them ;)

    • @choppergirl
      @choppergirl Год назад

      @@shaneintegra Already paid for it. Worth if if I can blast and drown out any cordless phones or ELRS transmitters with 2 watts.
      But really, the FPV RC hobby was a r1p off and a bust. I switched to flying the sim. Fly all you want all day long for free, no travel or charging or solder bwwwllsh1t required.
      Five minutes flight time put on my $3000 worth of RC high end equipment... 4000 hours put on the sim. Which do you think I think is superior by a wide margin :)
      Happy phwwwking around with ELRS.. I hear it's a b1tch to get working editing the config philes. Doesn't matter, I'll never fly anything branded "Happy Model". What is that, a subsidiary of Fisher Price? LoL
