Such an epic video, achievement, and day for the ELRS Dev team. I still love watching it ❤
Glad you approve! ❤️ I felt like y’all’s work and achievements should be available for the community. I for one love the link and the community behind it. Thank you!!
So now CASA (who have never flown 100Km BVLOS FPV themselves) will create rules, regulations and requirements that dictate to others (who have also not done this) how it should be done safely. The ignorant leading the stupid one might say.
Instead of punishing those who have clearly demonstrated their ability to undertake such an activity with safety and competence, why not use them as a key part of the team that sets up the regulations and requirements to allow others to also do this safely.
Bureaucrats are not interested in safety as much as they are in exerting their authority -- despite what they claim.
I would love to watch all the other Wezley range test videos
I love how LQ hit 100% right at 100km. Thanks for re-uploading this!
That was one of the coolest vids ever!!!
Yup and they just gifted it to the community and helped to propel it even farther into the future.
Thanks for posting this. People need to be able to see this video.
Coming back into fpv after some 2y and was wondering why I could not find any of Wezleys vids on the subject ,I'm so glad for him so passionate about the subject.
Thank you for posting very much appreciated 👍
So great to be able to watch this video again. A real moment in RC history
truly amazing well done .💯💯💯👍👍👍
Thank you for putting this video up again, I love it! Watched it on Wesley channel twice before it was taken down.
This was so awesome to watch. Thanks for the work guys!
Insanely impressive work they did. I'm speechless. Absolutely love all of the bright minds, innovation, and ability to work together throughout this hobby.
I agree. Allot of effort went into the single flight.
Awesome! Somehow i heard from Wezley after it goes wrong. Sucks i missed the progress. 😅
Anyway awesome progressing they did!
Glad he got the fine payed in 3 hours! Haha love it! 😎 👍 Ive been busted before dang we cant make good video's about fpv anymore 😢
That was a super epic flight! That plane belongs in a museum!! Great job.🤙🏾
im amazed when I can fly something down the road this is just freaky!!
Thank you very much for video
My pleasure!
I found the launch spot: 'Hanglider launch and lookout', Mt Tamborine, QLD.
That's a massive feet, well done
super super tense, ELRS record 👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌👌
thats so cool
I wuv elrs❤ Thanks for the vid and thanks to everyone involved in making elrs what it is today
When NASA crashes rockets in our oceans and contaminates a planet they celebrate. When some hobbyists fly a seagull sized foam airplane, they get fined. That’s messed up.
So if you could use 1.3ghz video, what hardware would you use? And what ELRS would you select? 900mhz?
One thing I remember from the comments of the original video was someone mentioning the polarizations of the video receiver in the dish. They said reception would have been better if they had used an lhcp on the receiver since the transmitter had an rhcp and the polarization would flip when reflecting off the dish. I wish removed videos when taken down would just black the video but leave everything else cause there's so much good info. Maybe the comment could be found in the mentioned Internet history stuff or the wayback machine. If anyone has done this tell me if this is correct. It makes perfect sense but it just seems odd it would have gone so well starting from at least a 20db (that's just a guess at the true rc sniper incorrect polarization ratio) handicap.
I also heard before that a dish reverses polarization so you need opposite polarization if receiver has dish
That is correct. He basically flew 100km getting video feed with the wrong polarization.
Pretty awesome!
Thank you for this, I was trying to remember the contents of this comment from the original and it was exactly what I wanted!
Fantastic achievement! Sorry to hear about the authorities abusive actions. Really alarming that authorities are punishing innocent people based on the authorities zero competence and/or pure evil. Seems like they are so scared of cameras in the sky.
meanwhile me losing signal at 500 m
I can't figure out why my ELRS jumps from 25mw to 1000mw and the LQ drops significantly. Maybe the position of the antenna?
Great video Dax 👍🏻. I wanted to see Varty's O3 test video too but I missed it or he didn't upload it idk, do you have a link for it?
I cannot find it. Seems it wasn’t archived.
@@DaxNealFPV Thanks for looking.
amazing, gokil in the indonesian language 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
😂😂😂😂😂 gokil is insane 😅
100% link at 100km… amazing
Thats inpressive
13:31 I've been out of the game a while.. please explain what give you location data when tvx signal drops
This ultimately may be the way to fight BS regulations through civil disobedience. Have a community where you fly responsibly and if you so happen to get in trouble for doing that then the community has a gofundme me to help pay fines of those who do not comply with dumb stuff like remote id but fly in a safe responsible way like people have been doing for decades. We have to find a way to defeat the bureaucrats who refuse to listen to the hobby community and cater to the corporations wanting to buy our airspace.
Did it end up using the full 2.5W transmitter power, heard he said was only at 500mW at 80km?
it only has 2 watts of power, but they used all of it, you can see it in the graph.
This video isn't available anymore :-(
crazy didnt lose telemetry.. i was about to switch from betafpv super d 915 to bandit br3 cause bandit has 500mw telemetry .. maybe i can save the money
Wow amazing! now do 200KM lmao
Not quite sure how it would be done but if you could incorporate a mobile phone signal into a camera. Be same kinda of idea as strapping your mobile phone to your fixed wing only not lol. Obviously you prob wouldnt be able to use fpv goggles but you could in theory get litteral unlimited range as long as you had a mobile signal or mobile tower relatively close.
Next time pls test crossfire 2watt
How did they get the ERLS signal to curve around Earth curvature of over 2500 feet drop in 100K or 62 Miles ? or is Earth not what they tell us ...
Elevation of the hill. Quite simple.
@@SkyDog59 There elevation was only 500 ft or so Mmmmmm That dont work ..
@@mabbs2757 540 meters Brian... 540 meters. That's 1771 feet. Works fine.
Congratulations 🎉 man @wezleyvarty i appreciate your hard work I'm following you in the last couple years and inspired by you ❤. I am also on the same target (100km) in India 🇮🇳❤
wer in india r u doing I am also working on a similar project
