We were both looking for a serious relationship and had same interests. He calls me once everyday and FaceTime once for him to proof to me that he is real. However, I have came across some red flags when dating soldiers and online and I must admit that all what he said did applied to the red flags such as, lost parents when he was 15 due to car accident and lost his wife due to cancer, and his daughter is taking care by a nanny. He connected me to the nanny and child through email. But I stil don’t feel satisfied. I have read so many different stories online and just driving me crazy. He never asked for money not sure if that’s yet to come. But according to him he earns a lot of money and all he wants is share his life with me once hes done with his deployment. But Can u please share your story?

I wish I was wrong and that the individual could also even be a woman trying to work a hustle-ie, you. So, needless to say, if he has Never shown you what I like to call "Proof of Life", by sendin a specific picture I request,has to have his hole face in the picture and I come up with something random seen in the selfie pic(like I tell them to touch their earlobe with their pinkie finger.....or being I have a huge sense of humor, I tell boo to simply hold up their pinkie finger😁hehe). Anyways, it sounds like a typical scammers script that you, my deary, were fed. I wouldn't be surprised to know that the individual claiming to be a "us active duty soldier", but in fact is in no way the person they're claiming to be to you and in fact theres a pretty good chance that they're maybe a woman on top of it. Its for sure a scammer if they ask that you send money or giftcards of any kind-which you of course should NOT Ever do.

@@marianm4042 my hubby told me he loved me on our first date. That was about two month after we started talking. Everyone's relationship is different though. My past relationship I told him I loved him the first day and we dated for almost 3 years (we broke up because we wanted different things in life and it just wasn't going to work). But, that is a good sign he hasn't asked for money. As long as you know hes a real person, I think you should continue your relationship. When yall meet though please make sure it's in a public place and tell someone you trust where you're going

He claims he's special forces do they have to keep there location private. He sends me pics of him and he's always been consistent. He doesn't have a date to return home. I believe he's real but because of shows like catfish I tend to second guess every so often just because I don't have actual proof
Yes, all military when they are out on deployments, missions, ect. have to keep their location private and also the date of return would be private. Just take the relationship slow just in case. Especially if you never know when he is suppose to return. So don't be too vulnerable with him yet. Wait for when he returns!

Literally needed this because just recently this guy who's an army nurse reached out to me. He's currently deployed and I am so guarded because I want to see him in person. Brianna Rachel Hi(: if you've only been dating for 3 months I personally would say go your separate ways. It's so hard to carry on a relationship long distance after only 3 months together. But then again it depends on how much you can see each other. My friend did long distance for 4 years (after 3 months of dating) cause of college but they saw each other every 2/3 months for like a weekend or so. If you know you want to marry him one day and are willing to see him often then sure try it and see if you like it. But if you aren't even ready for marriage and you most likely won't go see him often it might be better to date someone else. (Less heart ache too) Hope this helps💕

Brianna Rachel lol understandable. I think at 17 you should find someone closer to you. Or even when you go to college. I know the hardest thing for me was feeling left out when my friends did stuff with there boyfriends or when we had formals/date party's for my sorority. I couldn't bring him. It was sad. I spent a lot of time alone because I waited for him to call or wait so that we could Skype all night. It's hard because you become secluded. As a 17 yr old I think you should enjoy your friends and enjoy life. However, if you choose to be with him, not a bad thing. I chose to do it lol so if you do I would understand. I'm just saying what the easier choice is. Haha but I don't know the power of your relationship so what you have could end up being really great! You'll just have to go through a lot of hard times to get there. So be prepared!

I really just pray for his safety. If something were to happen there is nothing we can do. It is all in God's hands. If something were to happen, we as wives would be the first to know. Worrying never does anything but burden the heart. I know it is hard with them gone and not being able to communicate with them, but spend more time with your daughter, be busy and try to get your mind off him.
I do have many questions for one is why do they say" that's so lovely " after every good thing you say? He claimed to be deployed in Libya, i had it verified.In fact, no one is being deployed in Libya. Thanked God for discernment and wisdom. I agree when you said, guard your heart. Those pictures are of real soldiers but fake scammers are using the pictures of the military to deceive women I have Been there with Nigerians using the surname Smith same pictures

Everything you say just describes how I feel to a perfect T💀 But I met a guy, I’ve FaceTimed him, we’ve snapchatted, etc. Everytime I see him, he’s either wearing his Army camo suit or he’s wearing the green shirt and tan pants. So, I THINK he’s real? 🤔😅 I’m not sure...? Oh yeah, and he’s currently deployed in Iraq. I even went online to look up to see if the Army was being sent there and i got it confirmed that the Army was in fact in Iraq. Which city, I have no clue.
Great video. I am on POF and had a lady contact me. She said she was in the military, deployed in Turkey. and we talked for 2 weeks straight emailing each other. Towards the end of 2 weeks she asked for a gift card. I told her I am not able to do that and she was like no problem. We still talked and then she said she wanted to send me a package. My past relationship I told him I loved him the first day and we dated for almost 3 years (we broke up because we wanted different things in life and it just wasn't going to work). But, that is a good sign he hasn't asked for money. As long as you know hes a real person, I think you should continue your relationship. When yall meet though please make sure it's in a public place and tell someone you trust where you're going
Hi Brit. Glad you did this video. I met my soldier online about 1 and a half years ago. He's never asked me for money and talks to me often thru Skype. We have online chatted thru Skype voice. He claims he's special forces do they have to keep there location private. He sends me pics of him and he's always been consistent. He doesn't have a date to return home. I believe he's real but because of shows like catfish I tend to second guess every so often just because I don't have actual proof
Yes, all military when they are out on deployments, missions, ect. have to keep their location private and also the date of return would be private. Just take the relationship slow just in case. Especially if you never know when he is suppose to return. So don't be too vulnerable with him yet. Wait for when he returns!

I'm also texting someone in the US Army through Facebook messenger and on hangouts. We bonded really well. Within less than a week he told me that he has misplaced his wallet/credit card. He is telling me to send him money to buy a nice gift for his son in another state and go on a date with my money. He's been calling me through hangout app everyday and I am terrified to pick up the phone. I'm seeing HUGE red flags here and I am really scared to death to bother trying out any online dating websites.

Literally needed this because just recently this guy who's an army nurse reached out to me. He's currently deployed and I am so guarded because I want to see him in person. I want to make sure that he's really before I decide to actually give my all. I've always told myself that I never wanted to date a military man, but never say never. if you've only been dating for 3 months I personally would say go your separate ways. It's so hard to carry on a relationship long distance after only 3 months together. But then again it depends on how much you can see each other. My friend did long distance for 4 years (after 3 months of dating) cause of college but they saw each other every 2/3 months for like a weekend or so. If you know you want to marry him one day and are willing to see him often then sure try it and see if you like it. But if you aren't even ready for marriage and you most likely won't go see him often it might be better to date someone else. (Less heart ache too)

Brianna Rachel lol understandable. I think at 17 you should find someone closer to you. Or even when you go to college. I know the hardest thing for me was feeling left out when my friends did stuff with there boyfriends or when we had formals/date party's for my sorority. I couldn't bring him. It was sad. I spent a lot of time alone because I waited for him to call or wait so that we could Skype all night. It's hard because you become secluded. As a 17 yr old I think you should enjoy your friends and enjoy life. However, if you choose to be with him, not a bad thing. I chose to do it lol so if you do I would understand. I'm just saying what the easier choice is. Haha but I don't know the power of your relationship so what you have could end up being really great! You'll just have to go through a lot of hard times to get there. So be prepared!

I really just pray for his safety. If something were to happen there is nothing we can do. It is all in God's hands. If something were to happen, we as wives would be the first to know. Worrying never does anything but burden the heart. I know it is hard with them gone and not being able to communicate with them, but spend more time with your daughter, be busy and try to get your mind off him.
I do have many questions for one is why do they say" that's so lovely " after every good thing you say? To me I think it's a scam ² I have one guy say he wants to come home but can't cause he has to say it emergency but yet wants you to wire money to get him home and sends a account number....oh no not happening

Those pictures are of real soldiers but fake scammers are using the pictures of the military to deceive women I have Been there with Nigerians using the surname Smith same pictures

Brit the solider I was talking to turned out to not be who I though he was he said he was overseas In the U.S. military on mercenary missions in West Africa and Nigeria and scamed me out of 4000 dollars and threatened to kill me when I couldn't send more money to him who do I talk to about this

This hit me so hard😭 Right in the gut. Everything you say just describes how I feel to a perfect T💀 But I met a guy, I’ve FaceTimed him, we’ve snapchatted, etc. Everytime I see him, he’s either wearing his Army camo suit or he’s wearing the green shirt and tan pants. So, I THINK he’s real? 🤔😅 I’m not sure...? Oh yeah, and he’s currently deployed in Iraq. I even went online to look up to see if the Army was being sent there and i got it confirmed that the Army was in fact in Iraq. Which city, I have no clue.

Great video. I am on POF and had a lady contact me. She said she was in the military, deployed in Turkey. and we talked for 2 weeks straight emailing each other. Towards the end of 2 weeks she asked for a gift card. I told her I am not able to do that and she was like no problem. We still talked and then she said she wanted to send me a package. I said I'm not able to receive any packages because I am in the process of moving. Then she stopped talking to me. So I did a reverse image search on her. It turns out she was a scammer. I found the real person she was impersonating.

Please DO NOT send money. Military personnel will never ask you for money they have everything they need even in the middle of a war zone.
