I'm glad Kristaps Porzingis is back healthy and healed! He's such a nice-hearted dude with a big heart and with a big talent on the court. I was glad to see him play in a playoff contender. I wouldn't be sad or disappointed to see his team, one of my favs in the Celtics, repeat as champions, but this year, realistically, is Lakers' year if both Lebron and Anthony are healthy and their supporting teammates keep on playing the way they have. I would love no more than to see Lebron get his 5th world title and get closer to Jordan's six titles. And if not, the Knicks year to win the title.

What. I like Neemie's growth this year. But he can't protect the rim. Just because he gets a block here and there doesn't mean he doesn't get burned off the dribble all the time, and no one fears driving on him. He has the talent to do it, so im not saying it'll never happen. But he just doesn't know what he's doing out there on D still, so not this year. Porzingas alters shots. Even when he's not blocking it, opponents are missing, because they have to try and shoot around his 7'2" athletic length. He changes everything.
It's crazy that Boston maintained their record without KP. Brad Stevens should be executive of the year for as long as they keep winning...what the man did is like what old-school Belichick did. He built a super team in a league that had just made rules to try and prevent super teams. Making all the money work that way is insanely difficult and requires the ability to recognize and maximize value (for example, Belichick's heavy use of small, white receivers and also TE's was contrary to what most NBA scouts looked for at the time in the WR position, thereby allowing the Pats to grab good talent at a discounted price). I wouldn't say that Boston has done the same thing per se, they've gone for the archetypes that every team wants, but they've managed to find amazing value from guys like Hauser, Pritchard, etc. The development team needs to get a huge round of applause.
