My Honda GX630 was running fine but now has oil in the air filter and smoked very badly for about a couple of minutes until I managed to turn it off. The dipstick smells like it has petrol in the oil. An online diagnosis by somebody indicated they thought a sticking float??? Any ideas? Obviously I will need to change the oil and filter but how do I avoid the same problem occurring and am I likely to have suffered irreparable damage. Many thanks.
I'm sorry to hear that man. I'm not a master mechanic by any means so I wouldn't want to give you advice on something I have no idea about. But, I hope everything works out for you.
where did you get this oil from? I see amazon has it but Im worried its not genuine honda oil. Also what pump oil do you use would love to see a video of you doing the pump oil change cant seem to find many videos on it.
@cookepressurewashing Thx. Having a problem, could be bad gas. Unit cranks & runs in choke mode but soon as I push choke tab in, it runs a few seconds & cuts off before I throttle up. Experience that before?

Got it from northern tool and sure thing. I'll do a video for the pump oil change soon.
