    My man! EXACTLY the issue I’m having. Thank you! I’ll be doing this set up tomorrow and ordering that gas tank while I’m at it. Nice set up also 👌🏼

    Dude! Thank you, I’ve searched everywhere for this exact answer. Mine is doing the same thing and I was curious if adding a primer would damage it. Awesome! Thanks.

    When you disconnect the line from the tank, when not use, does the line hooked up to the washer leak fuel? Also, can I leave the tank sitting on the ground? Will it still draw from the tank if the tank is lower than the washer? Thanks.

    • @doitallgaragetx
      @doitallgaragetx  7 дней назад +1

      @nick32141 with these "boat type" fittings, they have a small check valve in them, so they don't leak when you disconnect them. If your machine has a fuel pump, it will draw fuel vertically. If it doesn't, it will need to be gravity fed.

      I have an 8 gpm Honda washer that I just purchased waiting for the tank to come in from Amazon. My other washers all have their own tank over the top gravity fed. Was just wondering whether or not the tank can be lower than the washer. So I appreciate your information. Thanks.

      @nick32141 if it's a gx 630, 690 or igx800, yes the tank can be lower than the machine. Shouldn't have any issues

    I just bought a honda gx630 at auction. There are 4 tubes coming off of it. One is the fuel, one is to drain the oil, I think one is to drain the carburetor, but I don't know what the 4th one is. Can you help me out.

      Usually, one drains the pump oil, one drains engine oil, one is for fuel delivery.

    What's the part number for the connector on the gas tank you mentioned

      Not sure. They are Yamaha style connections and academy sells them

    I’m having problems with my 690 starving for gas. My fuel line is only 2-3 feet long. Do you think the fuel pump is having a hard time with the vapor lock lid?
