For all you guys who don't know her, Jessica Merizan was the Bioware community manager through both the lifetimes of Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3. YEAH. Honestly how she's not a broken husk of a woman at this point I don't know. Damn. No matter how you feel about her, that's worthy of some serious respect.
Mad respect for that. She must have dealt with a swarm of shit from fanboys... not dissimilar to the comments on this video regarding her performance in the game, though I'm sure the Bioware hate comments were filled with far more vitriol. Props to her... props to her indeed.
These weren't my favorite games I have seen featured on the show, but the episode was so good because the guests were fantastic! Glad Alison was back after her tragic demise from season 1.
First games I'm buying from Season 3 (Table Top has increased my board game collection 300%). Amazon was slick enough to recommend Council of Verona after adding Tortoise and Hare to my cart. You guys are really raking it in for game makers. Meanwhile: New games OTW very excited!
"Who will join me on NOT the porn couch?" Did it take until this episode for him to see all those posts on the internet or did I miss him saying this on an earlier episode?
Idk if he's said that in an earlier episode, but I do remember him tweeting about it around the time that it came to light that porn is shot on the same set that they shoot TableTop on.
Nah, people that supported the Season 3 at a certain value got a Cards Against Humanity pack, which I won't spoil the card, but it pokes at the set also has been used for porn.
All episodes have already been filmed and edited. as they film the episodes in like a few days, but slow release them as you should if you want to retain viewership. And the porn couch thing was already a thing in season 2 their comments. Hence why its in here.
The woman IN the porn tweeted him about it when she was on his set. He's been making jokes about it since Season 1. He just brings it up and laughs every now and then about it.
Watching this episode made me realize why Haislip decided to play in Titansgrave. I mean she has a love for games that's obvious, but she is also so in-sync with Wil, they seem like really good friends.
I have to admit, while this was awesome, I was hoping that the next time I saw Alison on here, it would be a Fiasco reunion. That is still my favorite episode. But still, awesome as always!
You have had them for a while now, but I am just getting around to commencing: "Sick ink, bro!" Your octopus and heartbeat rock and I'm also so pleased to be watching Tabletop again! Thank you to all involved at any level!
that was amazing, last show 'hey guys, we are family show, trying to keep it clean all the time', this one 'Team Dick pickles!!!' It's a payback for the children guest show.
Hey there Geek & Sundry , I highly recommend "Guillotine" its very quick and i really enjoy it. No two games are ever the same and it can easily fit in another 2 game video like this one. Though it is a card game i still think it would be an interesting choice
I like the Hare&Tortoise game cover, where the Tortoise just steps on the Hare's head, pushing him into the dirt, while smiling and holding up a peace sign.
Aww, I got really excited when I saw the title of this video, because I thought they were actually going to play Hare & Tortoise (1973) by David Parlett, as opposed to The Hare and the Tortoise (2014) by Gun-Hee Kim. Nothing against the newer game, I just really want to see somebody collect thousands of carrots and go from dead last to first place in the older game. I just know it's going to happen... someday. (Now if only there were some way to get rid of all your lettuces...)
It is indeed. I looked the "Hare & Turtoise"-story this game is based on up and it seems like the german version of the story uses the hedgehog, too. I think the older game is more interesting than the newer one. The tabletop episode was great though (not sure if I spelled this right, but I can't look it up while commenting).
I love that this is the episode to follow Catan Jr. and the talk of a family show. Not because I'm judging, but because this is kinda how it sounds when my family plays games :)
This was great. Allison and Jessica are two of my favourite internet people, both goofy, funny and adorable in their own way, great to see them both back again. Good lord though they bring so much lewdness to the show, not complaining at all but it's a hell of a contrast to the kid-friendly show last week, haha First time seeing David, but he seemed charismatic and fun. Also a WITCH. BURN THE WITCH
The "Incredibly non-functional stop-watch" is supposed to be the first player marker, which you pass to the left after each movement phase. So, since Wil played cards first in the game, after the first movement phase he should have passed the watch to Jessica, so she should have played cards first starting the next round. -The Rules Lawyer
So yea i'm not trying to say she isn't smart, because thats not what i belive. I just think that she was just there to have fun and her seemingly random choices threw people off enough, or convinced them to not think of her as a threat, so she was able to win. Which i think is awesome. She just tryed to have fun and it worked out for her.
It would seem that some major editing happened between 12:20 - 12:45; Where they are talking about bringing back old words, where suddenly everything is ~2-4 spaces ahead of where they should be. Not sure what was discussed during that timeframe that had to be cut out, but ok
Wil should definitely do something like the Dragon Age episode again, that really was my favorite TableTop. Do it again. Seriously, we all loved it :-)
I really don't see why they changed from the old one to this. Considering how much production value TableTop and other G&S shows have, it is out of place.
I don't know who Jessica is but she was very cute. I know they have already filmed this season but I would love to see them play some older games like Black Morn Manor, Cosmic Encounters or Illuminati. All of these are very fun and I can see the guests having fun playing them.
Funny thing Alison mentioned zombie Romeo and Juliet as the Kickstarter version of the game came with cards of this version of the lovers. Great games and great video. It got me willing to get my Council of Verona at the table more often and also to get a copy of Hare&Tortoise to myself. Keep up with the great work guys!
WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST WHO EVER LIVED, WHERE I GET ALL OF MY INSPIRATION TO THRIVE TO BE A BETTER PERSON. ISAAC NEWTON, THANK YOU.
Hare and Tortoise looks awesome! How have I never seen that one? Also, Shane Nickerson totally needs to be invited back. Everyone's been great, but he was awesome.
From kiddie episode to filling a super soaker with white russian drank and catching as much as you can with your mouth...thanks for getting back on track TableTop!
Waterflame I did, but that was prior to episode 3 where Will went out of his way to express how 'family friendly' the show was. So I cant place fault on that
I think he means there's just no overt cursing. This is no worse than you'd see on any PG13 TV show/movie. He even said he was initially against the idea. I don't think they went too far.

_Last Episode_ : Keep it family oriented
*This Episode* : Team Clitoris
Tabletop, you amaze me
Thanks for having me guys!!! Definitely amazing games I've added to my board game night. And viewers: thanks for putting up with me ;p
The bow was a nice touch.
loved you

Her contract with EA most likely demanded the surgical removal of her soul, to be sacrificed to the Demons of Perpetual Dee'Elzee...
I feel bad for telling her to make me a sandwich now.
John All the honors aside, nothing connected to DA2 deserves any respect whatsoever imho.
+PerunsZGRevenge she was the community manager, don't blame her for the product.
Had to pause the video to physically applaud the Council of Verona intro. Bravo to the writer of that one
Ya, it was great! Very lovely flavor :)
Uh, Wm. Shakespeare? But the end was a funny adaptation
***** Alison Haislip, Jessica Merizan and ***** play Hare & Tortoise and Council of Verona today on #Tabletop: bit.ly/1rkPvrS
Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays Geek and Sundry! Good games..
Great episode, fun guests too! Nice that Allison is back on the show, she was hillarious last time as well!
The Dick and Pickle T shirts
I totally wasn't expecting an episode this week, thanks. :)
***** YES
These weren't my favorite games I have seen featured on the show, but the episode was so good because the guests were fantastic! Glad Alison was back after her tragic demise from season 1.
I can’t decide if Jessica played amazingly well or if she genuinely had no idea what she was doing the entire time 😂
That Shakespearean style instruction piece legit almost moved me to tears.
First games I'm buying from Season 3 (Table Top has increased my board game collection 300%). Amazon was slick enough to recommend Council of Verona after adding Tortoise and Hare to my cart. You guys are really raking it in for game makers. Meanwhile: New games OTW very excited!
I cannot thank you enough for another episode, however, I would like to thank you even more for putting one up on THIS day :)
Thank you SO much!
"Who will join me on NOT the porn couch?"

Steven Allen I got one but do not have CAH so mine is going to stay as a sealed TableTop collectible for now
All episodes have already been filmed and edited. as they film the episodes in like a few days, but slow release them as you should if you want to retain viewership. And the porn couch thing was already a thing in season 2 their comments. Hence why its in here.

Watching this after 'Sheriff of Nottingham' is like seeing the origin story of 'The Dick and Pickle' ;)
Olivia Nürnberg Martinussen I know what you mean
yessss
Wil, as much as that Romeo and Juliet intro was cool... didn't really help explain the game very well.
EightThreeEight I just read the descriptions on the cards they flashed onscreen.
Yeah. It helps that it's a very simple game to learn.
totally :))
Effort wasted ;-;
"A moment, please." I like you so much, Wil, that I would wait an incredibly long time for your poetry.
"Dead Eyes" is now starring in "Council of Verona: the Musical".
(Haislip is becoming a favorite recurring guest on TableTop.)
I need more Tabletop, more episodes. Thanks guys for all the entertainment and new found love of board games. Live long and prosper!!!
Haislip FTW!!! Alison should be permanent guest host!
Merry Christmas Tabletop! And what a wonderful gift this was!
You have had them for a while now, but I am just getting around to commencing: "Sick ink, bro!"
Your octopus and heartbeat rock and I'm also so pleased to be watching Tabletop again!
Thank you to all involved at any level!
Commenting*
Bloody autocorrect.
Well that happened. Also it was very fun to see Alison Haislip again on TableTop!
This show is the reason why I'm subscribe here. Very nice, and the production value is great for a youtube video.
from pg12 to 18+ in just one week :P
that was amazing, last show 'hey guys, we are family show, trying to keep it clean all the time', this one 'Team Dick pickles!!!' It's a payback for the children guest show.
SinnaMad
They also have tabletop after dark planned with Cards Against Humanity
puenboy1 I must see this episode.
Jessica Merizan was awesome. Everyone from the BSN loves you and shall miss you. Best of luck to you.
Thank you tabletop, for three out of five of my sister's board game Christmas presents. Also, thank you for a vast portion of my Christmas day fun.
I have this feeling that the Dick & Pickle could become the new Owlbear.
Great seeing Jessica on this one. Would love to see more of her in future episodes!
Hey there Geek & Sundry , I highly recommend "Guillotine" its very quick and i really enjoy it. No two games are ever the same and it can easily fit in another 2 game video like this one. Though it is a card game i still think it would be an interesting choice
"We're not playing zombie Romeo & Juliet!" My favorite line from the episode.
his shakespear was awesome
edit: does Alison Haislip get hotter as the episode progressess
Was waiting to see more "Dead Eyes" from Alison Haislip. Awesome TableTop guys!!!

Is it Tortoise in the english version? I am from germany and my parents have it, but the german title is "Hase & Igel", which means "Hare & Hedgehog"
Yep, we're talking about the same game. It's a great one!
Ch4karr Your version is more Grimm and the one here is more Aesop.
Me, too :-( Our family really likes the Parlett game.
That Shakespear style thing was awesome but I understood none of it. xD
another beautiful episode thank you for making my christmas that much more joyful will and friends. and thank you felicia.
What a great christmas present :D Thanks Geek & Sundry/Will Wheaton + others.
The has to be one of the highest quality series on RUclips.
I love that this is the episode to follow Catan Jr. and the talk of a family show. Not because I'm judging, but because this is kinda how it sounds when my family plays games :)
By going straight from kids to "Dick & Pickle?"
Aaaoouuuuuuhhh!!
Jessica Merizan ❤
great games, great players, great episode.
This was great. Allison and Jessica are two of my favourite internet people, both goofy, funny and adorable in their own way, great to see them both back again. Good lord though they bring so much lewdness to the show, not complaining at all but it's a hell of a contrast to the kid-friendly show last week, haha
First time seeing David, but he seemed charismatic and fun. Also a WITCH. BURN THE WITCH
Best part of the episode (26:28): "I'm really not comfortable with snapping."
Thanks for your wonderful show. Every episode makes me Happy+1
"He's great, and I'm not."
Dude, she's a keeper!
I love that Wil basically loses it when Jessica says "You're so hard to find." (Mainly because I just about lost it at work while listening to it...)
I love Wil's voices!
wow you guys are awesome i didnt expect a release on christmas day.
Alison is totally adorable. I loved her the last time she was on TableTop too, she's really funny.
What a great series this is. Whelp, now I have to go... You know, a lot of episodes to watch.
Alison Haislip is so damn adorable
Patrick Stewart REALLY needed to be one of the players in this game.
That was a great fun episode. Liked that a lot.
I like how there was so much talk of Zombie Romeo and Juliet and that was the #tabletopday promo for this game. I was glad to pick it up!
Seriously, we all loved it :-)
Much impressed by your Shakespeare.
Still can't get over the stuttering intro, it is supposed to look like stopmotion? Really not sure.
Edit: That said I really liked this episode.
I really don't see why they changed from the old one to this. Considering how much production value TableTop and other G&S shows have, it is out of place.
Oh, that intro. Yeah, although it's the sound effects that bug me more. I preferred S2's.
But, yes, great episode for a relaxing Boxing Day. :)
no kidding --- can't stand the stuttering intro
Yep 1 million $ really helped the production quality. KAPPA.
You're not the only one that noticed this. Its been bugging me ever since S03 started.
I don't know who Jessica is but she was very cute.
I know they have already filmed this season but I would love to see them play some older games like Black Morn Manor, Cosmic Encounters or Illuminati. All of these are very fun and I can see the guests having fun playing them.
Best ep of the season so far.
I absolutely love this show! Even if i have to wait 2 weeks for an episode :)
Wil need an Oscar for the Shakespeare intro. It really moved me..
Please come back Wil.
Will, I'll giving you the slowest clap I can. That Verona intro was fantastic.
Happy Merry Christmahannakwaansika Geek & Sundry! I got Tokaido and Takenoko for Christmas this year! Can't wait!
The rules in Shakespeare was quite good. Well done, Wil.
Always love watching TableTop
I feel it needs to be said.
Jessica Marzipan is adorable.
Geek & Sundry you guys made my xmas!
I don't know what is it about this table but the dynamic really made for really funny viewing.
WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST WHO EVER LIVED, WHERE I GET ALL OF MY INSPIRATION TO THRIVE TO BE A BETTER PERSON. ISAAC NEWTON, THANK YOU.
Omg! All my Shakespeare nerds, where you at???!!😂
I hate when people call Tortoise's "turtle". 2 different creatures. If you put a tortoise in a pond it will drown...
Awesome episode! And yay for Jessica winning! :3
Alison Haislip seems like a really awesome person to hang out with.
It's official.....Haislip makes everything better.
"Trevor and Autumn just chit-chatted last time.." - Ben Stiller on Lettermen
Wow, the Council of Verona intro is going to be pretty good for the gag reel.
A tabletop for christmas, thank you!
Another great episode of TableTop, always makes me want to play more games
Jessica won while barely knowing what's happening. Well played.
Loving Jessica Merizan will definitely be checking her stuff out :)
from 28:35 to 30:51: COME ON JESSICA!!! JUST PLAY THE GOD DAMN GAME!!!!
Innuendo? I think you mean inYOURendo eyyyyyyy
did you just make and inuendo with the word inuendo?
Yup. And a good one too :)
Really enjoy these multi-game episodes, awesome gameplay
Best innuendo is
Playing the single key piano.
Hare and Tortoise looks awesome! How have I never seen that one? Also, Shane Nickerson totally needs to be invited back. Everyone's been great, but he was awesome.
IT'S ALISON! Love this episode already
From kiddie episode to filling a super soaker with white russian drank and catching as much as you can with your mouth...thanks for getting back on track TableTop!
Love the show, I just went and bought Hare & Tortoise based on this show to play with my daughter!
Great episode! One of the funniest that I've watched for sure.
this one is by far one of the funniest episodes in a while
Marzipan's donut shirt
Zombie Romeo and Juliet...If that's not already a thing, somebody make it a thing.
They actually did make that an expansion.
Sometimes I love the internet. :)
hare & tortoise is a gem srsly.
I love the multiple game episodes!!!
Great episode for the holidays (Huzzah!)
16:50 TEAM VENTURE!
So that whole spiel last episode about being family friendly lasted all of... 1 episode. #dicjokemuch?
Did you not see the episode where they played Forbidden Desert? Alan Tudyk had a lot of "not child friendly" lines in that one…
While I've watched (or started watching) every episode of Table Top, and I certainly enjoy the game play, even as an adult (who doesn't have children), I don't appreciate the inappropriate banter.
And while I've also purchased a few of these games based on what I've seen on Table Top, I will not promote the videos (link to them elsewhere) because of some of the language and antics demonstrated.
I don't enjoy such behavior in television or movies, either, and don't partake of much of what I would otherwise enjoy watching (and supporting) if not for the inappropriate language, not one word of which I ever find crucial to the productions.
While I otherwise very much like Table Top (including Wil Wheaton & the other participants), I find the need to indulge in such antics sophomoric, and the sort of thing one would expect to find among crude adolescents (and/or most screenwriters), not supposedly mature adults.
I really wish they'd clean it up -- or at least offer a "clean" edited version for those wishing to view and endorse such.
