    Oh I didn't realise it set a separate set of angles for each ship, that's super helpful! I hadn't thought to use these for CCTV but I do use them for top-down landing cameras, checking exit ramps are touching the ground, and a nose cam for beauty shots 😄

    Another thing you can do instead of holding free look is to simply hit right shift which will lock your ships movement but in camera mode it allows you to look freely.

      @Vioblight Gaming another thing I forgot to mention. Ever wish there was a way to turn off the HUD? Set up a camera view just in front of the cockpit, basically the same as 1st person, but without HUD (and other obstructions)

  • @gregalden1101

  • @JasonGranzow
    @JasonGranzow Год назад +2

    This is genius, I’m going to start doing this. My question is do these saved profiles carry over even after quitting the game if so are saved per ship or do you have to customize it every time you get in that ship?

    • @LoudGuns
      @LoudGuns  Год назад +5

      They’re saved as your nine presets between saves, but for example it’s not possible to have profiles for multiple ships at the same time on a modifier (you’d need to adjust them for different ships if you switch). I know some people just have a few cam set for a few different ships (1-3 Carrack, 4-6 C2, 7-9 vanguard etc).

  • @TairnKA
    @TairnKA Год назад

    I had set up ship views for landing in horizontal (looking forward at gear) and vertical (looking down onto top) hangers.
    Both views can be used to observe movement.
    It's a shame I have to click "F4" plus a keypad number, versus a single number or single key that cycles through my programed views? ;-)

    • @NL0Gwenster
      @NL0Gwenster Год назад

      With some software (be it your keyboard's official one like Logitech or some other third party software tool if you have some generic keyboard) you can make each numpad key a macro. I.E you pressing 1 on numpad has it actually press F4 + 1 via the software. And so on for the rest of the keys.
      I don't have a numpad section on my keyboard (Logitech G15 TKL) but i use macro's to have this function as a landing cam on the F keys
