I love Leonard and your love for him and his for you is very evident. I've experienced the aging dog and it is difficult but I could not agree more, just honor them, love them, be patient. You know the way we should all be, always. I have a new pup (1 Year old) finally after the loss of my best friend (dog), after 13 years. The love of a pet it priceless. Enjoy each other.
Love your sweet doggy…. and even though I am a carnivore…. still loved this episode. Knowledgeable, yet entertaining, but never condescending. You tell it like it is, but the delivery is on point. Hey!!! Nice seeing you again Ive missed you! Love the recipes! Cheese platter looks awesome and delicious! I feel ya on the pet situation. Ive actually been praying for Leonard and a couple of other pets I know including my own that are getting old. My cat is 21yrs. old and getting there too. I dont want him to go, but like u said, they're getting there and its so hard. I dont want to think about it. I block it out and stay busy so I dont think about it so much. How did I miss all three of your Christmas specials???? Well, it's never the wrong season for a wine and cheese party! Epoisse is my absolute favourite, but you definitely need to contain that stink. Every time I eat it I ask myself how could something that smells so disgusting be so completely delicious. Thank you for reminding me how important it is to have my friends over and treat them special!

I will now *only* refer to my vegan Christmas dinners as sylvan. I love that all of the recipes you chose are actually vegan or super easy to veganize, perhaps with the exception of the cheese plate. It's hard to see a pet aging, knowing that there's only so much you can do to help. I think I speak for all of us dinner partyers when I say that I'm keeping Leonard in my heart this holiday season. 💛

I loved this episode. This year I want to make a small pork loin with orange cranberry sauce or glaze, I haven't decided yet. Could you make a pork loin video. And this time of year I love baking an apple ginger cake, orange cranberry cake (the 1,2,3,4 recipe on the back of the Swanson cake mix I just add orange zest and fresh cranberries inside the batter), and I'm also fond of baking a lavender olive oil cake.
