    Anyone that offers set up blocks for specialized bits is my hero. With the cost of wood, no one wants to guess.
    The miter corner bits are a great example and a great router accessory.

      @woodworkingwithSkyler me too. I bought the corner miter bit for the lid of my son's Chiefs hat box. The setup blocks worked great and worth the extra few bucks 👍

    Great video. It doesn't appear to me the original setup block helped at all. Was it to get the fence close to where you needed it to start? Otherwise you still adjusted both the fence and the height anyway. Thanks!

    If you used the setup block from Infinity I have to say you did a much better job of explaining the whole setup process than Infinity did. I have the infinity birdsmouth set and thanks to you I know much better how to use it. Thank you! 😊

    I looked up birds mouth router bits and there is a huge price difference. The infinity and Whiteside are three times the price of some others, are they that much better or should I just get the one of amazon. Thanks 😊

    • @woodworkingwithSkyler
      @woodworkingwithSkyler  8 месяцев назад +1

      They all work really well. But the more expensive ones are made from stronger material and it will last longer. You can get a cheap set just to see how it works and if you like it before you decide to invest in an expensive one.

    I'm not able to watch you use the router table in the manner that you are. Even during setup you must properly guard the cutter and use a push stick. Your fingers should never get that close to an exposed cutter. Please work safe.
