Remember that Goldmary is basically a female Gordan Ramsey when it comes to cooking, her going Karen mode is just her *holding back* from tearing into that unlucky chef.

@@silverjace1000 I think the running gag with him is based on the "old guy you know who believes whatever thing they like solves everything!" My granddad believed oatmeal would solve all the world's problems for example! Mom said the TV antenna broke and he I shit you not used oatmeal like fucking super glue! (He was TERRIBLE at making it, like in "he'd set cold cereal on fire" bad! It was war for my grandma who WAS a good cook to keep him away from their oatmeal supply!)
Lindon also brings up Elthunder for alot of things! Including wanting to use it on Alear in their C rank support! (But his support chain with Mauvier was funny as hell especially the end when he lowered his guard just to try to push the "making popcorn from corn using Elthunder" on him again at the end)

Ivy makes an excellent point. Strictly speaking, spicy is not a flavor, but a feeling. It's more like a texture than a flavor, if anything, but even that is a difficult argument to make.
If this seems absurd to you, consider that salty and bitter are never smells. Even when you sniff a bitter coffee, your brain is simply associating the particular aromatics and their strength with the bitterness yoh expect.

Tbh just find the dish the cook is expert on so chances of it being higher than D is possible, ya just have to find the pair who can both like the dish and have supports with each other
