Jacob Koller on RUclips has some wonderful piano arrangements of the Studio Ghibli music, some of which he drove a piano out to those locations. (though the sound is recorded in the studio, of course.)
I love how nostalgic it sounds. Reminds me of my time back, I wish I could just turn time back and lay there in the warm summer on the grass looking at the blue sky as the clouds pass by. Winter is really getting boring
The harmony of Tatarigami theme always impresses me. It is as dissonant as beautiful to hear. Not always so much dissonance is used in this way being very dissonant but melodically pleasing. It is very dramatic without hurting my ears. It conveys despair and horror with beauty, not "random notes". This is the score I want most to study.

This stirs all manner of fond memories up for me. I was 6 or 7 when this gorgeous film and score were released, though I didn't watch until I was 8 or 9, iirc. Still one of my favourite movies and soundtracks released, alongside Howls Moving Castle. Thank you, and everyone else involved, for allowing myself and others a glimpse of that beautiful world, and the memories I've held dear all these years after. I hope to pass them along to many, many more people. ❤
Anche se non ho avuto lo stesso privilegio, quando ho ascoltato la prima volta questo brano...beh..! È di una potenza evidente ed evocativa. La ascolto nei momenti in cui devo stringere forte i denti e il mio incedere fragile e claudicante è supportato da questa musica che non ha aggettivi per essere definita, tutto mi sembra riduttivo. Ma se l'effetto di un opera artistica è quello che mi muove, sicuramente è riuscita e compiuta l' ARTE !

物語に色をつけていく壮大な音楽は無くてはならない存在で、聞くたびに物語の中へと引き込まれていきますし、音だけで映像が目に浮かぶ。初めてアシタカせっ記を聞いた時の感動と衝撃は今でも忘れられません。

어릴적부터 지브리를 좋아하시던 아버지가 처음으로 보여준 애니메이션이 모노노케 히메(원령공주) 였는데 영화의 잔인함과 다른 부분적인 요소들로 내용이 기억에 콱 박혀서 잊혀지지가 않았는데 ost도 내용만큼 기억이 난다 이 음악이 영화 도입부에 나왔던걸 잊지를 못한다
