The Sea Dweller two tone, I recently heard its nickname 'GoldenEye', is the smartest move I can recall made by Rolex in decades. This supermaxed Sub is such a stunning piece in any light, day or night, and it demands and deserve respect by the person wearing it as well as any audience. Once you tried it on, there is simply nothing else, you dress up or down, it just blends in... submariners tends to feel small as watch industry turns towards 42-44mm..... This watch is magic...
I own it. I’ve owned Omega Seamasters and Planet Oceans, the Submariner and a variety of German divers. This is by far the best dive watch I’ve ever worn.
Absolutely. And I wanted one so bad. But the ceramic bezel was just so new at the time I settled for reference 16600. To this day…it’s still my favorite watch and gets the most wrist time.
I picked a early submariner two tone over the sea dweller based on the massive price difference and the weight. They look very similar and it's far more comfy on the wrist. The excess depth I can live without as I don't live under the sea :p
A small clarification: the decompression valve of the watch relates to decompression in the decompression chamber not in the sea. The diver may keep his watch in the chamber. A watch without such valve may still be worn in the chamber but the winding crown must be unscrewed which will have similar effect to that of the decompression valve. Great video
The name "Great White" perfectly captures the essence of a dive watch, evoking images of the ocean's depths and the majestic great white shark. It’s both powerful and fitting, suggesting durability and adventure while appealing to diving enthusiasts and watch collectors alike.
No really not much point to get a sea dweller over a sub unless you dive or want the black on black with gold bezel highlights - and for those who picked up every point in video I know there’s a few other subtle differences but not enough to not sound like a watch nerd or knowledgeable

Agreed. The Sea Dweller Rolesor is a killer. Stunning in person and a relatively easy wear for a smallish wrist.

The Sea Dweller 116600 (aka SD4K) was the last true sea dweller and best sport diver model Rolex ever produced

I own the SD43 and it's a fantastic watch but I never understood why they released a two tone version of such a professional tool watch

I love my TT sea dweller and I love the weight of it also
The 116600, the ultimate seadweller.

Great video
Awesome overview and makes me even more happy with my recent 16660 gloss dial acquisition. That Tiffany dial one must be a small fortune…
Waiting on on a SD43 from my AD. 4+ months.... hopefully soon.
Love my SD43
That was and outstanding in depth ( no pun intended) overview. I love my Sea-Dweller T. My next will be the 126603...
thanks for posting, great video.
4:06 That Tiffany dial. Oooh. 🤪
I own a 116600 and it's the best modern Rolex, imo. 🏝🏞
Good job well done!
What about the Sea Dweller Deep Sea?????
Tiger Woods’ watch of choice
Thank you Emily
The Sea Dweller ended with the 16600 reference.
Double D
When will you slow us a Rolex Sport line - like the Yachtmaster - in a bikini😊
You should better understand that in today’s day and age, these types of comments are unwanted and only reflect poorly on you.
GREAT WHITE has there ever been a bettwr name for a dive watch
