I used the Integra for about a week and returned them. I just received the goggles 2 and I must say the increased field of view in 4:3 aspect ratio as well as the diopter adjustment makes the goggles 2 well worth the extra $150. The touchpad also is fairly intuitive. The Integra goggles are not immersive which I guess is okay for a lot of people. So much of this is very very subjective.
I have been considering purchasing the Integra goggles to use with my Mini 3 Pro, but I am unsure I want to use the motion controller 2, and feel DJI might be going slightly backwards with the Integras especially from a perscription glasses wearer's perspective. Being able to adjust the diaopters as easily as Billy demonstrated on the Goggles 2 set is a glasses wearer's dream, with the ability to quickly show your friend or wife the view from above, not having to pause, taking out the lenses as would be needed with the Integra goggles. Also if a person wears contact lenses one day, perscription glasses the next. Just less to do. If it's the expense that DJI is claiming to save, it's ALL expensive, :) and convenience is overall above expense in my opinion.😀 I hope DJI continues listening to their customers on these topics.
I currently have the goggles 2 but can’t see much of the osd towards the edges, plus I get binocular effect when I look left and right in the screen Are these better with reduced fov
I just bring my lenses out more and it seems to solve that issue. I guess it depends on the circumference of your eyeballs depending on where you have the lenses positioned. I don't have 20/20 so being able to adjust the lenses is just freaking awesome for me.
With the Integra - if you want to quickly borrow your goggles to a friend, you first have to fiddle with the lense kit... no go, especially since the lenses are made ofnplastic and scratch very easily. Also: the reduced FOV = reduced FUN. And what happens to the integrated battery if someday it fails, or if you break one of the antennae? Goggles 2 all the way - I love them!
Even if the batteries die and for some reason there’s no way to repair them, you could still power the goggles over USB C with a cable, just like we powered regular FPV goggles with external batteries.
Concerning the Integra goggles - if you go to the expense to have your eyeglass prescription transferred into lenses for the Integra Goggles, you might be disappointed to find out that the two fixed Integra lenses (which cannot be removed) can actually distort the overall prescription quality. A prescription lens is made to be viewed through the naked eye. If the built in Integra lens was a flat clear (no optics) glass, the prescription lens would probably work. My eyesight is poor, which necessitates a more complex lens. People with a better vision history may be able to use the addition lens with less problems. I say, bring back the diopter adjustment!
Did you able to make it well working for you, I use v2 with prescription, and planning to upgrade to integra with precise prescription , will it be blurry
After viewing all those positive reviews on RUclips I just had the “integra” and dissappointed deeply! First of all, it does NOT fit on the face properly because of that brittle foam padding which also makes the integra really uncomfortable. This fitting problem also creates a view focusing problem because the screens are never angled correctly to the eyes… It also makes the wearer almost breathless because it squeezes the nose too much. Adjusting optics/dioptrics by changing lenses is another futile nightmare! Though I understand the fact that it is next to impossible to achieve a universal fit due to personal differences; 1-My head, being on the large, side is quite ordinary dimensions wise. 2-I had the first generation dji goggles and was happy with them but they, of course, do not work with the new generation of drones… 3-I use a PS5 VR2 daily and have no such problems. Essentialy: Dear viewers, beware of the “biased” youtubers and definitely do NOT buy dji’s “new” generation of goggles without first TRYING them personally!

@@billykyle You get in the range of controller airspace where you need to request permission to fly, your going to have to hook up the phone to it. If you're safe in Class G airspace you won't have that issue.
I think for very serious FPV pilots, the extra battery and plugging in the phone is worth it for the extra FOV and features, but for the majority, the Integra is definitely the better choice.

Great comparison, I have the Integra goggles now and I’m very glad that I upgraded. I’m coming from the DJI goggles FPV version, so never experience the goggles 2. I do miss the fit of the larger goggles FPV version, but I love the lighter weight in the integrated battery of the Integra. I also think it’s great that they included the top head strap which I found buried in the packaging in case I want a more secure fit for longer flights.

The new Integra goggles are very impressive, I like the integrated battery and GPS. These new goggles along with the Motion 2 controller may finally get me off the fence about whether or not to get the Avata. Great review, you covered everything. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah they’re pretty cool goggles. I like how you just throw them on and turn them on. With the Goggles 2, I have to put the battery clip on the headband, slide the battery in it, connect the power cable ends.
I'd have to wear them to say this with any confidence (or credibility!), but I do not like the battery on the back. I don't want MORE weight on my head.

@@billykyle but if I have 20/20 with contacts so does that me I wouldn’t need any of those additional inserts unless I wanted to fly with neither glasses or contacts, right?
Downside if you have a friend with 20/20 and me I don't have 20/20 then i'd have to take the lenses out of the Integra goggles each time you swap. Goggles 2 use solves all that.
These goggles is junk. Right out of box software/firmware issues. Won’t update properly then refused to turn on. DJI said to sent it for replacement. I’m thinking for full refund of this junk drone called Avata
I’m loving the Avata with the Integra goggles and the motion 2 controller. I needed the upgraded soft fit foam to make a good seal. If you’re looking for that foam don’t search Integra accessories. You will only find the OEM or original replacement foam. You need to search soft fit. I’m assuming it fits all their goggles. DJI website needs some updates. They have great support on n chat or phone but the website is ridiculous. Another thing I found out when flying the Avata is… “auto record when take off” doesn’t mean just that. You still have to push the button on the controller to record a video…🙄
What about the two extra antennas on the bottom of the Goggles 2? Do those provide better coverage or is it just nice because they're replaceable with aftermarket antennas?
Hello friend, I have a doubt. I wear glasses and I'm afraid of spending more on the Googles 2 and still having to use my glasses together with the Googles 2. Does this diopter adjustment eliminate the need to use the glasses?
Great video as usual! I was on the fence about buying another pair since I have the Goggle v2, but I LOVE the Integra - no phone needed. That's a game changer to me! Thanks!!
Just got my Integra Motion Combo today and paired them up with my Air 3. Is there a way to bind both the goggles and RC 2 to the aircraft at the same time or do you have to manually bind/unbind devices every time you go back and forth using them with the drone?
I bought the DJI FPV with the V2 goggles and motion controller the first day it was released. Just ordered the Integra yesterday. I plan to get the Mini 3 pro later on which was another reason for getting the Integra. I'm hoping they'll sell the M3PRO drone, fly more plus kit and fix where the motion controller will work with it as a discounted price in the future. I'm going to check out the differences in mine and the motion controller 2 now.
Deciding if I should switch from "standard" drones to FPV.....and have a lot of questions...this video did clear up some of my goggle confusion, but now I am wondering why there is an SD slot in the goggles...do you have a choice of recording in the Avata drone ( slot near the rear prop) or the goggles?...can you record in both at the same time?
I have both the Goggles 2 and the Integra, I love the Integra, I recently had cataract surgery and the smaller field of view works better with the new lenses I had implanted.
Hello, could you tell me if you noticed a lot of difference in the signal between the two? this one of not being able to change the antennas on the glasses integrates, it makes me afraid of not having a good signal penetration.
@@gilbertorochacosta7053 I noticed no difference in range between the two. I flew both out over 1/4 mile with some trees and houses in the way. I could have gone much further if I flew higher but that's not really what the Avata is for.

Man I just got the Integras and holy ****, the fit. Honestly have an issue with the ergonomics. It’s destroys the bridge of my nose (never in my life did I consider my nose prominent) and it seems like the lenses don’t cover the whole FOV. No matter how you adjust for interpupilar distance, it’s still fuzzy on either of the sides (similar to the edges of a telescope). Thoughts? Am I missing dead obvious adjustment parameters? Thanks in advance
What do you mean you have to get the lenses cut for your prescription? Doesn't it come with a box of the different lens adjustments? Saw another video where a guy had a box of lenses. When you said we have to get them "cut" that makes it sound like we gotta get them made custom or something. Not really sure what you mean as someone who hasn't owned VR or FPV goggles.
When it comes to the Remote ID, I don't know why DJI just doesn't make a small device you can plug into the USB-C on either your Goggles v2 or Goggles 2 so you don't need to rely on the phone connection? I get the Integra's are new and all, but I feel you sacrifice a lot of things that the Goggles 2 has equipped. The design of having a battery built better on the back is cool, but knowing if something goes wrong with the battery. You cannot not just remove the battery pack and replace it yourself. It has to be sent to DJI. I don't have the 20/20 vision and the thought of I can just had my Goggles 2 to a friend and they can quickly adjust the display for their eyes is a huge plus. You also lose the sensor inside the Goggles 2. I get some people are not a big fan of the touch sensor. I honestly don't have an issues with it at all. It takes a little getting use too, but seems many just like to turn something into a huge deal about the touch screen. If you do accidentally open the display it isn't hard to quickly exit out. No big deal. I actually like it and I can't be the only one.,
I just hope DJI also sells battery replacement pack on integra goggles. I'm just worried if the battery worn out over time, the whole goggles itself will be useless.
Well done review. I have this setup myself. I need better face padding for my Integra goggles though. Can you recommend any for it? Will face padding that fits goggles 2 also work for the Integra? And how do you fly in an area that needs geo unlock without being connected to a phone? I'm finding that I still need a cable connected to a phone in order to fly in a restricted zone. Thanks!
Been thinking about the Integra goggles, I have the original V2 goggles that shipped with the DJI FPV and I use them with that and the Avata, they are massive so been thinking of upgrading, I'm not interested in head tracking or the touch screen so the Integra over the goggles 2 would be my choice, anyone interested in buying a set of V2 goggles?
Thanks for another great review Billy. I guess my take away is that I would prefer the Integra goggles as well. However, my eyes are very picky and when I buy DSLR cameras, I’m always adjusting the diopter to almost max in one area or another to get good sharp focus. Do you have any thoughts on whether that would be a dealbreaker for me and I should stick with the originals? That ability to do the plus/-2. Focus is very appealing. Anyway, hope you’re well. Thanks.
If you get a chance, try opening them up to see if the antennas can be modded so a female SMA connector can be added for additional antennas. Curious how the leads are connected to the board.
Good info is always Billy but have a question. Can you interchange the Goggles 2 or the Integra goggles with the DJI fpv drone can you use those goggles on the fpv Drone that DJI make?
Nice job! This sheds some light on our last conversation about the goggles! Hahaha! I can see why the Goggles 2 cost more, myself but I would pick the Integras as well. I'm all about convenience!
I used the Integra for about a week and returned them.

I actually like it and I can't be the only one.,
The would would be nice
is there a fan?
No
I just hope DJI also sells battery replacement pack on integra goggles. I'm just worried if the battery worn out over time, the whole goggles itself will be useless.
well i guess there will be a solution for sure
The Integra comes with lens. Do you know what range those are? Googles 2 is +2 to -8 so was curious what was in the box for Integras.
I’ll have to check
Can these be used with DJI Agras T30 or T40?
No
Do you have a link to the upgraded foam you bought for the Version 2 goggles?
DJI FPV Goggles Sponge Foam Padding
A thicker, softer foam padding, which improves comfort while effectively blocking light.
m.dji.com/product/dji-fpv-goggles-sponge-foam-padding?set_region=US
I have both pair. Love them both. I am kidding, I don’t have any of them.
It works with your mini 2
So for people that wear glasses, the goggles two would be a better choice because of the adjustments for your site?
Yup
I would be more interested in these if they did a 03 air unit for 1s tinywhoops like walksnail
Would be cool
May I link them to other fpv drones? Not only dji or O3, but also vista?
Yeah it does
Any info on if these will be compatible with the Mavic 3 in the future?
👀
Well done review. I have this setup myself. I need better face padding for my Integra goggles though. Can you recommend any for it? Will face padding that fits goggles 2 also work for the Integra? And how do you fly in an area that needs geo unlock without being connected to a phone? I'm finding that I still need a cable connected to a phone in order to fly in a restricted zone. Thanks!
I haven’t been able to find any good padding.
Great review, Billy. My Integra just arrived; I’m looking to the maiden flight with its as well as the Motion 2. Thx for posting.
Sweet! Let me know how it goes 👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah I’d upgrade
no diopter adjust is a problem for me.
Then stick with Goggles 2
Love your honesty
not enjoying how cyberpunk cyborg this looks
This design has been around for over a year dude.
Thanks.
The diopter is a nice touch. If this is your biggest concern, id go with the Goggles 2
If you get a chance, try opening them up to see if the antennas can be modded so a female SMA connector can be added for additional antennas. Curious how the leads are connected to the board.
That’s not my specialty, I couldn’t tell you if they do or not.
Good info is always Billy but have a question. Can you interchange the Goggles 2 or the Integra goggles with the DJI fpv drone can you use those goggles on the fpv Drone that DJI make?
Both of these goggles will not work with the DJI FPV drone
@@billykyle thanks, but I wish they would
Is it (or will it be) compatible with mini 3 pro?
Hmmm...
What about being able to us them with glasses?
No glasses. You can get the lens cut for your prescription or use the others included in the box.
Of course DJI comes out with a new and better version rather than updating software.
You can’t update hardware over a software update. Come on dude.
@@billykyle I meant just coming out with better version immediately after the first edition....dude.
because they transmit RID I pass
Yes
What’s going on guys 🤙
🔋⚡️
Nice job! This sheds some light on our last conversation about the goggles! Hahaha! I can see why the Goggles 2 cost more, myself but I would pick the Integras as well. I'm all about convenience!
Can't wait to see your Avata clips lol
@@billykyle Oh yea is going to be epic! There's almost no way I'm not going to hate the footage! Hahaha! I'm such a camera snob now.
Soon as I bought my avata theses came out
Damn
I am waiting for the goggles 2 pro
You might be waiting for a while
Love my integras. Goggles 2 is whack
Straight up
well New toys to play with
Yuppp
Well explained
Thanks!
Which goggle works with the mini3 pro?
Neither of these
@@billykyle - do any?
None from DJI
Both, as of May 23, but you need the montion 2 controller as well...
