The EN line will "ruin" a lot of perfumes price to quality ratio wise. I have the extreme but i have to say i dont wear it often enough, i guess its something I have to be in the mood in for. Also congrats on the channel growth!

Anyways, i would love to hear your thoughts on ambra avrea, wore it yesterday and stuff lasts for days on my skin. I really think you will enjoy that ambergris in it in the opening and how it transforms into a very smoky amber with loads of frankincense. Truly one of the best ambers in the market. Like i had mentioned before, i have a feeling you won't like any of the other PR maybe besides Aqua di sale and Aqua Viva, i honestly think you will think the rest are very sweet, but I'm not gonna lie besides guerlain, i think PR does some of the best vanilla.

Sometimes it smells like that old wooden catholic furniture with dump fabric. Another time, I get more boozy birch but still some kind of dump wood (whisky barrels?).

Brilliant early impression. I have Encre Noir A L’Extreme and understand what you mean. This is a composition for fragheads. As a lover of Islay whiskey with its smoky notes, I was drawn to Fumidus for that reason. However, what it did do was draw me to vetiver when I’d started to lose interest after a few mediocre ones. Thank you for this excellent early impression.
There's really something that pulls me into Fumidus. The dark, smoky, earthy rootiness, the slight nutty and almost boozy profile of the vetiver is incredible to me! I really have to be in the mood for it though, so I can't really justify owning a bottle. Great video, sir! 😁
@@RamseytheRam thanks, that helps. Looking for a vetiver based fragrance for my daughter. We sampled Perris Vetiver Java recently but it's too fleeting for the price. She loved that, hates my vetiver oil (too much for her, won't wait for it to settle) so looking for an alternative affordable vetiver based scent for her.

West coast of Scotland single malt whisky is massively peaty and smoky. Very characteristic . West coast of Scotland is wet, green and cold. Sounds like they were trying to capture that!!!

Ambra Aurea is still IMO tops from the house. I believe many fragrances have taken inspiration from it. You pretty much nailed Fumidus.

Al extreme is a little more bozzy & ambery... i actually think its an easier wear than the OG Encre Noire
