No need to apologise about the sound, your running a business and that's what makes this channel interesting 👍
Spot on there 👍🏻
Don't worry about the occasional sound drop out, lads. You do a great job of telling the story of a rebuild.
100%. It’s the (excellent) content that makes the channel, the occasional technical hitch only adds to the experience.
@@simonbailey2151 Yes, and there was a time we could never hear you, so any improvement on that is a bonus. Keep up the good work.
I'm a engineer, joiner but unfortunately I'm now disabled and miss my workshop so much but I'd like to thank you for your videos because they give me so much pleasure. Thank you and keep these fantastic videos coming.
We love you guys because you’re not RUclips guys.
Your proper! just filming what your doing and it’s refreshing and honest. Honesty is worth so much these days
I for one, far value content over polish. There's enough flashy fakes on RUclips. You blokes keeping it real and making them deals is where it's at 🙂
Don’t worry about the sound etc, this is a genuine workshop-based show. It’s always interesting for the banter and content as is.
The speed in which those vans were repaired for 6k profit and turned around in 7 days was down to Robs close relationship with salvage yard owners and Chris's expertise in fabricating those new studs. Together they're a perfect marriage. Not many refurb businesses could fulfil those requirements which is what, in my opinion, sets SR and those like you apart in that industry, because you turn low profit expensive engine replacements into high profit cheap engine fixes - and not a single bodge in sight. Mustard lads, honestly. 👌
This is not car SOS or wheeler Dealers both of which are scripted reality TV. This is a genuine channel of two guys making a living in the salvage business and it’s fascinating to watch their combined skills.
rob, nothing wrong with saying it as it is, they bodged those vans, and I bet they charged top rate for it too! good job they getting PROFESSIONAL attention now!
The world needs more Chrises. World famine - he’ll sort. Global economics - he’ll sort. Global warming - not a problem. All done before lunch 😂
Another superb video - “filmed as it happened and no retakes”. Absolutely brilliant, well done Rob and Chris!😊
No need to apologise. It's what makes the channel real.
Well that's a relief, when I saw "lost £1900" I thought Chris had lost his loose change bag! 😜. Great episode and lovely profit guys well done...Cheers for now.👍
Don't worry about a little problem with the audio. What you both do is authentic which makes the channel so interesting. Respect to both of you.
And the boating season is approaching..........hint hint...😂
Chris never fails to amaze me, I remember when you started and he seemed so awkward on camera like he didn't like being on it 😂 now he's a natural
Rob/Chris,
your channel is more entertaining than any motoring program on main stream tv, no need to apologise 👌👌
Mics sounded fine to me! In fact, when Chris leant in to the air leak, it proved it was down there!
What a cracking couple of guys to watch and observe doing their thing. Thanks Gents.
I am not a motor engineer (a retired contracting electrician is what I am) but I have to say that I really enjoy watching you guys at work. Like a well-oiled machine you are😄, and VERY entertaining. Gimme MORE!
Don’t worry about your sound. Everyone of your videos is brilliant, better than anything on TV and my favourite RUclips channel. We can always hear what you’re saying, and don’t expect production perfection. The perfection is in the content!
I subscribe to in well excess of 20 channels possibly closer to 30. Many are car things but they are quite varied subjects but the one I look forward to most by far is Salvage Rebuilds.
Be nice to see more projects like this. Hopefully we'll see the puppy again as it grows.
I do enjoy the van projects, they go from being beaten up work horses to looking and driving great.
The filming and audio is fine. There are channels who spin out what you do in one episode over 20. This is really top quality content.
Hi guys, emailing from down under(Australia) just letting you know that your videos are priceless, not only are they informative but so watchable! As so many of your followers say Chris can fix anything quite literally and his attention to detail is unbelievable, just gets on with the job. You guys must be mates because the way you get on with each other is just great to see and obviously not a con job on your followers.
Crunching the numbers on the Transits and watching chris rocking backward and forward on his chair waiting for an opportunity to add something was as usual very funny, thers's a very dry sense of humour hidden away there!
Keep up the good work guys, love your work!
I have just retired from the construction industry, but have always been a weekend spanner guy, and love watching you guys so much, I am going to make my first Co-part purchase next week.
You worry way too much about the sound Rob, it makes it more real for me. Love your content, thoroughly enjoyable and informative!
Perfect, really enjoyed the transit videos. Also it’s great the you don’t retake clips because you both come across so natural and you feel like we are there with you. Great content again guys.
Been watching your channel for a long time but have you ever talked about how you two got together. It seems like a match made in heaven. Would love to know
Have said it before, chtis can fix anything. He seems to have that magical touch with anything on wheels
Mandatory viewing for Ford first year apprentices, corrective intake/ turbo 😮 refurbishment. Top work 👏 gents ❤ on Transit fleet 😊
A lot of graft but good earners , luv the banter and laughter between you two , to think Chris wouldn't even like to talk on the early vids now you can't get a word in edge ways !! Great channel lads
The positivity makes it look easy . Loved the wee manufacturing bits with the lathe machine 👍
Fantastic video today that demonstrates how good you two are. High professional and technical standards AND very honest. If only the rest of the "motor world" were the same. Thank you.
Nice to see you guys earning a few quid…all the best.
Boyz , you earn every penny , you work hard , you enjoy yourselves , you obviously get on great together and your videos are a joy to watch....roll-on the nice weather and we can see you both enjoying your ship , Aye Aye Captains
I don't trust many people dealing with cars, but I would absolutely have no doubt to let you two guys doing work on mine.
Really nice work guys. Keep up the good work.
Love these videos.
Thanks guys, that was a great adventure to follow with you 😊😊😊😊
Morning guys 😊 I did watch this last night on my ferry from Belfast and list my signal before I could comment 🙄 Chris fixing those Dagenham dustbin exhaust manifolds was absolutely amazing 🤩 You always do a top class job get first class results and even better you sell them at a realistic price so the next person get a great reliable car van motorcycle boat washing machine etc lol 😂 Keep the fantastic videos coming cheers Stevie
The fact that you drove this one all the way from Salt Ash even though it was a bit disabled proves that it still has lots of life left in it. We will say no more about the garage down there! I think you have a nice profit out of this one and all of them really give or take. The little Combo is a very nice van for someone with only 80K on the clock she has loads of miles left in her and is very nice inside, not worn at all. Well done to both of you in turning all the transits around and the Combo. Don't worry about the mic's Rob sometimes there can be interference from something and you might not know what that is, it is just a quirk. The only bit we missed was when Chris was in the cab. A great video once again Rob and Chris so thanks for your work on editing and putting them out. 👍👍
Rob is the best paid parts van driver in the world.
Great work gents. If the auction company are listing as not recorded and it is recorded surely that is false advertising and you would have some recourse? It's better to watch your vids showing the real way things go than give false impressions that things always go perfect - thanks for keeping it real.
Being natural and unrehearsed makes you guys what you are. If it was constructed content you'd lose the whole feel of the channel. Stick with it guys, I wait for every video you do!
Yes Rob come back down to Cornwall when you can. Nice to see the transits (mostly) wrapped up. Cheers to you both. Brilliant blokes you deserve all the profit you get
You have turned those trucks round without delay and made 6k profit sounds like a few decent days work to me. The Vauxhall sounds like a steal for someone and some more in the bank. Nearly up to 300k subscribers now - no surpise there just keep the videos coming👍
Pleased to see a good old broom handle temporary bonnet support. Top video. Glad the transits worked out. I remember a bit of worry when you first got them.
Love watching you guys, tried other similar types of YT car streamers but can't get into them. You two are great! Keep it up, looking forward to the next one! 👍
No apologies required guys…this is real life and you show it as it is ..that’s why we luv it..don’t ever change👍🇬🇧
Keep it coming lads , we all enjoy the effort and skill you guys produce .
Another top job lads I learn something new every video, I’ve been doing this 6 years… still a pup eh, lot to learn still at least anyway, pleasure to learn it from 2 people who do things properly and never cut corners. I’d like to see more in depth overlay from Chris for what he does but I understand maybe this isn’t what everyone would want, either way love the videos!💯
I honestly don't know what you think is wrong with the audio, I watch all of your videos and I don't think there's ever been any point where I couldn't hear what was being said, it's always pretty clear, even when you're not using the clip on mics. Great channel btw 👍
I tend to watch with headphones and don't usually have issues hearing them, but it's probably harder to hear on a TV or phone speaker.
Don't ever change ,you two together make it enjoyable and entertaining
Your formula is perfect - “one take one hit wonders” … don’t change it (I know you won’t 😂) No issues with hearing Chris BTW
Hi rob and Chris great job on all the trucks and the wee van, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Chris's mini lathe is a cool piece of kit.. nothing the man doesn't have..
Good business sense, first class team work with your finger on the pulse of the market.
Worth resetting the DPF values via diagnostics once its clean and checking the vapourisor isnt blocked with a vaccuum guage
Someones been watching the Irish lad 😂
I think your noise is absolutely fine and I can hear you both
Well done nice job the garage, done the work on those vans once his arse kicking I wouldn’t let him work on my wheelbarrow and that’s knackered. Keep up the good work. Have a good one. Hope the puppy isn’t keeping you awake at night 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👏👏👏🫶🫶🍺🍺🐕🐾🐾
Caliper bolts……. Valid comment mate, valid comment….
Such another fantastic series of vids, fellas - we all absolutely love your work and love the banter. "'ere, yer bath's overflowing there, mate!" Just brilliant! Keep 'em coming.
Loved these transits builds ,keep them coming thanks 👍👍👍👍
Great video guys , the transit adventure worked out well , nice profits and the combo , lovely van well priced , good luck guys 👍👍
Looks like an adblue injector that was hissing, they usually have little locating tabs and a small clamp to secure
Dont ever say sorry guys you ahve no need as ive said on other peoples videos people watch you for you keep up the awesome work love the videos
Bernoulli effect Rob, or a venturi allows the liquid to flow. Upside down just allows air to create it. Fill the opening with the liquid, no venturi.
Weird that the other garage snapped the same bolts off on each truck.
Turning the container sideways to avoid “gulping” was something my uncle taught me way back in the late 60s with my first motor.
Going up the road. ‘Your Baths Overflowing comment’ Lol.
Quick fix small return move on great job SRUk brilliant upload many thanks 😅😊
Like the lathe Chris, what is it? Hope you don't mind me saying but noticed the chuck key left in the chuck, concerned safety wise as if its left there and someone turned it on... Wham, lost fingers.
Love watching this channel, brings memories back. Retired now.
Great to know others go with a single take...I know that as a result my vids look a bit more raw than some, but that's life & half the fun...we're not the bbc!
All the best from @HowardsPortugal
no need to apologise, your firstly a working garage don't worry to much about bits being filmed, we get it fully 👏👏👏👍
love how u pair do the vids honest no re-shoots yes every now and then some thing happens but it never affects how much we love what you guys do
Well done lads on them vans and that Vauxhall. Please keep up your great work.
Quality fix on that manifold 👌, i've said it before, buyers can always rely on a professional repair from you guys! 👍👍
Haha … Check them bolts … “I’ve said it now … no going back …” Gold 😂
Hi Guys. Great result on the Transits and Combo. Exceptional workmanship Chris.
Hello Chris and Rob, another interesting video, with great results after the manifold / bolts replaced. Best wishes from Lincolnshire.
Hi Rob and Chris, great work on the last Transit, amazing to know what car vertical shows about each vehicle.the combo van is a nice car and will be a good car to sell.
Hi Rob and Chris, great video, Transits were a great move, in then out the door.! Combo is a bargain, loving the flow of vehicles and the variety. Alex.
Lovely combo. I have the older one. Brilliant van's.
i have'nt yet seen a bad video from you guys .. Cheers fella's
You underestimate your camera and audio skills etc .. everything is fine
Lovely bit of profit. The dream team have done it again!
Well done lads. 👏

Excellent video gents.you always repair all the vehicles down to a T.I am also glad to see the smooth running of your business. Keep it up!!
Nice bit of lathe work i expected a much more heavy duty lathe , nice work (always)
Love how you guys do for business, be interested one day if you reveal what revenue per video gives on top well done guys
Good honest videos and earning enough to keep the wolf from the door!
I imagine the company that sold you these vans will be watching these videos and will be passing there business onto someone else. 😂
Good afternoon Rob and Chris, great little video again. Telling Chris, “you get up on the hop up”😂. Chris looks like he has had a right busy day, face and jeans covered in muck 😂. The little van looks good too. £6021 , pre tax profit is a nice result, but you have both worked hard so it’s well deserved. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
That’s what I like about Chris everything is belt and braces you lads always do a lovely job 👌👍
You lads are on another level . You make it look easy .
Brilliant videos guys love the new bubble bath for cars . You have both done well to turn all those vans around so quick and to a high standard. Look forward to your next video.
That valve on the side of the DPF is the “vaporiser”
Sounds like something from ghost busters don’t it!
As always honesty and respect from both of you ......we wouldn't expect anything less.......Thankyou 💖
Been a follower of your vids for a long time guys... keep em coming because they are so informative and entertaining 👍
One just like it passed me the other morning pulling a 3 axle trailer with a Mini-Digger and buckets loaded, and I was waiting for the Wet Belt to self-destruct ... Ahem.
