- Recorded:19.09.2010.i'm useing here the Pedal too.Notice:The GR33 has tracking-problems.I use here my old GR30 for GK input.The GR33 is conected via Midi with the GR30,and the GR30 is the Contoller.The GR30 can kill all the Pitch Bend Data-Messages.And so i use the GR33 as a slave of the GR30.
i have this pedal with the gk3 and yes, this pedal have Sax, Trumpet and more winds :)

I have the GR33 and don't have any tracking problem issues at all with the GK3. It works great

I use this one parallelto the gr 55 live and also in the studio interesting to find some of the sounds tehre. in thsi video :)

The GR33 has the expression pedal and it has some improved sounds. I like it

@ersemola Hi, I am not very familiar with roland. What do you mean with tracking problems? would you recommend the gr33 or would you go for the gr20?

I can use the effects (distortion, delay, reverb ..) in the sound of the guitar (not the synthesizer sounds) in the roland gr 33
can you use your guitar with pick up added on for gr33 ...
Yes, if you mean mixing the guitar sounds with the synth sounds.

@brandon9271 Perhaps it is I don't know the gr 30 personally but I am sure both units offer great capabilities. However you need to spend considerable time at first to learn how to work on setting patch parameters not just running trough the patches on its bank. In regards to your early comment about gr 33 in particular if you go into a section were you set the envelop rate for the patch you want to set you should able to get a very decent tracking. Keep in mind that a piezzo pick up is a newer

I have the ghost system and I'm about to install the hexpander. I read that tracking problems aren't as bad with the hexpander. Is this so? How would it track with the gr33?
so would you think it would be a good idea to use the axon ax50 to put midi into the roland?
Do you suppose you could use a 6 string bass for this unit?
Do you think the GR-33 is significantly better than the GR-30? I can get a GR-30 for about $200.. The GR-33 is about $350-$400 used..
