what always bugged me about rally games are that when you crash your car and roll off track, it cuts the crash short and respawns you. I wanna see the entire crash and see if I could realistically recover from off track. Or sometimes I purposely send my vehicle flying to see how crazy the crash could be and then get respawned because I flew too far off course.
I totally agree. I always (except when respawned automatically of course) try to recover myself whenever possible because this way you get more realistic results.
It gets really stupid sometimes, I once got resetted and penalized for skidding 2 meters off the track at most because there was a crowd nearby, but I wasn't even close to crash them! And it was a square corner with a Mini so my speed was 30 kmh max lol
Colin Mcrae 2.0 on Duckstation can be played at high res with no texture warping, making it exctly what you're looking for. Or you could try RBR for more realistic crashes lol

actually,Carx rally really have free roam.also has crash physics but in dirt rally 2.0,this games has best ever graphics and physics. I prefer both of them
Are you referring to CarX Rally the mobile game? If yes, I must agree with you. I am enjoying that game. Not so much the menu and the fact that being a mobile game you are kinda forced to buy stuff in order to advance faster.

Check out the Car X rally racing if you want to see the entire rolling process. It works marvellously except when the car gets into water.
