I think the value in your videos is to get my eyes out in nature and it's beauty. It is a break from the electronic/digital world we live in, that is why the videos have a calming and blessed effect.
Yes! That's what I also think, I try to get out there and share my time with you all. Thanks for watching (also no more bitcoin for sale sorry!) -KleshGuitars
You said it was 38° there if you would’ve brought a rocker box and a couple gallons of water you could’ve just recycled your water and prospected right there from what I read I live in Oklahoma and in no way am an expert just really enjoy this and I Mess around with panning paydirt. Planning my first trip to Colorado to prospect thanks a lot to you klesh! Been going for a few years(my wife has family there) but never thought to do this until I found your channel. Thank you!
Thanks for putting these videos up. Yes, I know it's 2 years later but gold is at 1900 an ounce so guess who's going to colorado with his bpaa membership card ;)
I really enjoy watching your videos. It doesn't take very long to tell if someone knows what they are talking about, and you know what you are doing for sure. I have watched most of your videos and plan to keep watching till I see them all. Not being able to get out into the woods myself, I do most of my prospecting with paydirt I purchase on the internet. I have learned from you some new places to buy my dirt. Thank you, and keep up the good work. God Bless you my friend.
Thanks Gary White glad you enjoyed it! I do try to keep my information accurate as possible. If I do give inaccurate info, I'm sure to correct it in a future video or in the description of the video itself.
When going to an unknown area that you don't know, always bring a 5 gal bucket of water and a safety pan and pan the material right on the spot, saves time and energy and resources. Being successful in small mining operations will always pay off when you prepare for the trip ahead of time.
GOLD! lol Hello Shane :) Seems the camera catches the glitter of the gold better than the naked eye at times. It's good to know where the gold is and yep, you found it, congrats! This was fun to watch as always, and again, you have me looking forward to the next video :) Thanks for sharing your adventures! HH
Yeah the gold is sometimes tricky to spot, so I usually have to edit the video with a panning effect to get closer to it for a good view. Glad you liked my video today! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
RyeGuy SuppaFly I know how you feel, been researching a ruby and sapphire producing area and I've narrowed in on an amazing spot. I just need winter to end to access the location.
KleshGuitars I definitely will and let you in on the location once I prove it out. If my health doesn't allow me to get out there I'll still give you the location in case you want to check it out. The area is well known for both gems by that state's geological survey but no one to my knowledge mines the deposit(s). That doesn't surprise me much though because prospecting is an unfortunately dying past time. More gems and gold for the rest of us though that do put in the research and work.
same. I will definitely let you know. I'll link the videos when I finish them up. I'm hoping this summer to do some Northern Michigan adventures and see if I can hit Lake Superior to do some beach prospecting. Thanks again!
It was really good to see you checking things out again. Interesting vid & thanks for sharing. A little bit of gold is better than finding nothing. Enjoyed it all.
Wow Klesh, I'm amazed that you are still able to get out. Its been at best -10°F and and worst - 45 with howling winds and snow. Even the Iowa dirt is so solid you need a pick axe to break through. Not that I would be prospecting here even if it were possible because everyone knows Iowa sucks for gems and gold. Someday somehow I'll be able to have a second house out there if I haven't passed away by then. Sorry I haven't kept in contact lately, I haven't been well.
Yeah and that was at about 7,000 feet too. The 300 days of sunlight helps keep the ground at that elevation (and lower) workable to a degree. And I hope you feel better soon, come to Colorado and enjoy the sun! atb -KleshGuitars
I would definitely like to but money has been very tight being disabled and not collecting disability. Thankfully we started a savings before I got sick so I think we'll be alright but extra money is a no go at this point. I just need to find one good deposit to claim and then sell to keep going but we'll see how that goes. What's new in your world sir?
An old jem here eh? My claim here in cali has no running water most years do to drought so I am always classifying a bucket down and hiking it out a couple miles with my kid. No running water doesn't stop me
Thanks for the scouting report! Been considering joining GPAA for years, but wasn't sure what the claims looked like, or if they were all in southern CO here.
OK, cheap 5 gallon buckets come from bakery or like rib joints, the jelly and the BBQ sauce come in them. You can also check Craig's list for a bucket seller place. Worst off a container sales place, last the hardware store, I.E. Home Depot. I get them lightly used for $0.50 each with a lid here. But I would get a bunch and start running up there before the weather brings out the people as you have now shown how close to the road that spot is.hen you can set up a pumped power recover system on the porch there. But first go vac up the mess down stairs so you do not get kicked out.
Thanks for your time and another good video. I would like to let the mining and prospecting community know about 911 Mining and Prospecting Gold Giveaway!
I was out there this past summer, didn’t stay long, There is a shooting range right next to it. Just felt really weird being out there with all the shots being fired
Awesome video Shane! Dude, I’m gonna get a LDMA GPAA membership here in the next few weeks. We should hit up some claims... I love to shovel and pack dirt FYI 💪🤩🤘
Most people seem to rush through the cleaning.. swirling so much they throw gold around the pan.. not you sir, such care, music be the musicians touch ;) I can't wait to go out to Co this summer. "There's gold in dem hills!"
Great video! Have you ever tried a Gold Magic Spiral Wheel? They work great at home and in the field, especially for a one man operation. Keep up the good work. Also a fellow GPAA member.
for someone like me who can only get out and about for a hour or so, I get worn out easily lately. Not sure if paying that much for a membership is gonna pan out. especially since from what I can find out, they don't have any claims near me, and i'm not sure if i'm able to camp anymore. I'll try setting up a camp site in my backyard in the spring and then consider a membership
Hi, KleshGuitars. I am vacationing in Colorado this summer, and I am interested in finding copper, lead, or silver or to try and smelt back at home. Do you know where I can find information on how to go about doing this? Thanks.
Sure, my videos give a lot of great detail on locations to find gold. Not sure about that other stuff (however, you'll find lots of lead when searching for gold)!
That's a lot of Gold for 1/2 a bucket, just think what you could do with 20 full buckets of that stuff, Dam that would be worth Minning, even in the winter
Is anyone keeping count on how often Klesh says "my downstairs neighbor probably isn't happy about that" or something similar in his videos. LOL. You need to get a ground floor unit next time.
HAHA Yeah, if he only know half the stuff I dropped down there..or if he ever found my youtube channel..he'd probably come up here and ring my neck for me. Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
I busted ice to get the pan in the water last Saturday but left my cameras in my brothers truck. I'm going to stay watching this channel brother. Nothing but good stuff here.
From my experience if you don't get at least one ounce per ton (approximately 3 feet cube) it's not worth it, if you are in it for the money. But the gold is just being out there in nature
I think you may have meant one gram per ton, which is still a lot, but possible if you hit a hot spot. For comparison, on the Gold Rush TV show, they are looking for ground $10-15 per yard. If someone found $1,300 per yard ground, there would be another gold rush for real.
Nice find! I've been there a few times myself! I live in Aurora Colorado! Do you ever let people go prospecting with you? I usually go out prospecting every week, a lot of Yellow still out there!
I tried to find the claim up there friday the 11th of may of coutse i didn't have my claim book lol so i didn't find it lolso I went to youngtown road found gold there then sat the 12th had to go back to missouri a friend meet you at jamestown he told me u gave him a pick i just uploaded a video of me on clear creek there were he meet u atb...... bobinmissouri
Hey Klesh hows it going man. I enjoy viewing your videos and how humble you are bro. I'd like to mention that I've learned about how people actually make money from their videos besides donations. Guess people get paid way more from RUclips when they advertise other companies that run ads during the video. Thought youd like to know so some more residual income can come flowing in.
Thanks Happy Gilmore. Right now my show is sponsored by a few different companies, some provide income, some just equipment and gear. Not to mention ad revenue from google. Thanks for the tip I appreciate it!
Love the video klesh good to see you getting that gold, I miss the live streams I really liked watching them even though I never won any bitcoin. Keep up the hard work klesh
HEY MAN/Hey Klesh. Bones here. Long time viewer, 1st time subscriber. I always find your vids. very informative. And for that? Thank's man. I live in the Springs and am currently installing the guardrail along east I70 just outside of Den. Being here since 85 makes me a homie. An old one, but well you know? Anywho? I'm finding that, I have a little more time on my hands. (Enough time to think. And for me? That's dangerous! LOL!) And knowing that you play. I was wondering if you ever piddled farted around with a cigar box guitar?... Also, I was wondering if you ever carried a sidearm while out in the hills? Being an avid hunter and fellow hillstomper. (Don't hold the hunter thing against me) I can see where one might come in handy. I purchased a Garret AT Gold and have gone up Old stage rd. in the smaller streams. Needless to say? It's been hit and miss. Reckon that's why it's called prospecting? Do you prefer the bigger water? Thanks man.
I do have many firearms but rarely bring them with me. I travel as light as possible when filming, since the camera equipment alone (not to mention the prospecting gear) is heavy enough. I like hunting as well it's been a while though. Been busy looking for treasure. No i don't mess around with guitars right now, since my shop doesn't exist, but if I ever get it up and running again you'll know it from my videos. Thanks for watching!
Hey Brother quick question how can I be a part of a claim or do something meaning looking for gold and I live in Colorado is there a website is there a fee to join?
Sure you can join a variety of different prospecting clubs including the GPAA. Yes there's fees for clubs, but I'm a GPAA member and still just pan in recreational areas.
Hey.. that's not bad for just a little dirt. No doubt you will have to go back for more. Like the outdoor adventures man. Also like the VR flyovers. Can you post what gear you use for that? or point me in the right direction to research it? I might want to get something like that.
just an idea have you ever prospected around new construction that heavy equipment have dug into or close to bedrock along old rivers and streams just an idea .
@@Klesh ok thanks I had 2 claims above central city 2005 /2007 got a 2" dredge started finding gold at the end of the camping season 2007 the exwife got them in the Divorce. Would like to get back into prospecting.
I think it depends on where you live, and how much you plan on using your membership. You can camp on most GPAA claims as well, so you take that into consideration as well. If you live in a state with no GPAA claims, then I'd say no. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching -KleshGuitars
I live in Brighton CO, during the summer I go up to golden but I’m really tired of doing all that work on the river for a few tiny pieces of golden. As you already pointed out we really dont have to many options for for finding “real” gold unless you get some sort of claim. Thank you for your input and your videos. You have answered some questions I have had about prospecting in Co
KleshGuitars well let me know by your research on it.. I make an annual prospecting trip...and well..thats good for a bucket... let ya play with my 2.5 dredge/highbanker.... and..if good enough ground ill break out the 4" lol... you interested ?
KleshGuitars Sir, you mention PTSD Therapy. I'm a disabled combat vet. Who'd looking to buy a 5th wheel and truck, to retire and search for gold, while taking care of my PTSD. I can't be around many rude people. so solitude is important. any suggestions on this matter would be appreciated. Good day Sir. oh, I live in Arvada, Co.
Yep, exactly. I just get severe anxiety around anyone since I already assume the worst in any situation, so out here in the mountains by myself is the best for the anxiety and PTSD. If I hear my neighbor through the wall, someone outside, phone ringing, airplane going by.. etc.. I get panic. Being out away from everyone helps alot, although avoidance isn't really good for exposure therapy. Thanks for your service, I was Army 82nd abn div, 1997-02
KleshGuitars from the stuff on the gpaa website all the people have said it was no good up there. I have a claim up above grand lake you are welcome to come up with us and move some dirt. Roads open back up to the claim in june
I wonder how many gpaa claims are are on a distributed and sold list to members but are defunct for one reason or another! Most courthouse records in the united states can be accessed online so if the paperwork to keep the claim up to date was filed it would be in the county courthouse and also on blm databases. Still I think the gpaa claim data base could be extreemly valuable...accurate or not.
Bring your pickaxe, a strong back, and your "well, if we don't find gold at least we had a good time" attitude to Colorado! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Shane, I don't know if you are still doing paydirt reviews But nifer1974 On Ebay is going to post some more dirt by end of week. Good people selling good dirt, they are from Florissant Co .
I posted this through my sons acc, I'am from PA and met you on CCC couple years ago. They have good dirt you will be happy ( I hope) way better than Lynch has. Love the vid's keep up the good work.
That's not a good way to estimate AU value. Looking at my avg $/tOZ sales since 1/1/2019 is over $2k. 1tOZ minimum is 1.8k tOZ for placer @ 88-94% fine 'bulk'.
If you were to melt it down, the average purity is 18K so I use 18K scrap gold values now. Of course if you sold it as natural placer to most paydirt companies, they'll give you 22-24K value.
Klesh, Brother....you are a man and prospector after my own heart... I too get out, sometimes way out, a lot in the winter too and look, sample pan, sluice and get some gold even in the middle of our High Kolorado winter... :) Good on you for being man enough to risk the cold, the wet, the ice, look around, sample, inspect the old diggins and the modern claims. ANY day with some color is a good day. A day with a lot is even better. I have subscribed to you. Can't wait to check out more of your videos, reports. Plz check my Channel out too. "C-17A" Randy Witham, over on the Arkansas River and around Granite mostly.. God bless. Where are you located? I am close to Buena Vista, North of Salida.
I'm in Aurora which is quite a drive. I'm looking to move out your way, I have family in Leadville so possibly there? Just looking for a decent affordable place, then I'm headed to the mountains! Definitely will hook up and sling some dirt and thanks I subbed your channel -KleshGuitars
Klesh, Leadville is about 25 miles North of me on Hwy 24. Definitely colder & more snow in the winter up there at 10,200 feet than here in BV. Leadville is definitely cheaper as to housing costs than here in BV, which is trying to look/act now like Aspen/Breck/Veil... Randy C-17A :)

That is definitely the best I’ve ever heard at that area, good prospecting!
When going to an unknown area that you don't know, always bring a 5 gal bucket of water and a safety pan and pan the material right on the spot, saves time and energy and resources. Being successful in small mining operations will always pay off when you prepare for the trip ahead of time.

I can't wait til winter is over. I went out when we had a big thaw, found a few spots that I really want to get into. I'm itching so bad 😂
RyeGuy SuppaFly I know how you feel, been researching a ruby and sapphire producing area and I've narrowed in on an amazing spot. I just need winter to end to access the location.

I agree Shirl! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Awesome can’t wait to check that spot out this year. Been a member for years now.
It's definitely a nice spot, out there on the mountain! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
KleshGuitars Very good insight as to why it's still workable, thanks for that explanation.
Nice find! I live in Aurora colorado, been to that claim a few times! Do you ever let people go out prospecting with you?
Lov those big rocks lots going on here
An old jem here eh? My claim here in cali has no running water most years do to drought so I am always classifying a bucket down and hiking it out a couple miles with my kid. No running water doesn't stop me
Awesome man that is great I have been there before..but would never dig under live trees either.. Hope you can make it out to my claim this summer..
Yeah it's pretty stupid to dig under trees like that, dead trees -OK..That would be cool to check out your claim, thanks for watching!
Thanks!! Appreciate ya!!
Thanks for the scouting report! Been considering joining GPAA for years, but wasn't sure what the claims looked like, or if they were all in southern CO here.
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Great video, really enjoyed the trip , I bet you can’t wait to get out there this spring and attack the place
This spring will be great! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
good way to heat ice to make it water.....then you can get the first few feet of the culvert to pan at home before others.
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
OK, cheap 5 gallon buckets come from bakery or like rib joints, the jelly and the BBQ sauce come in them. You can also check Craig's list for a bucket seller place. Keep up the cool videos, wish I could come fill buckets.
Sure man thanks
Lmfao when you spelled the tailing onto the neighbours porch was so funny I was crying with laughter 😂😂😂
Yeah, my poor neighbor..Thanks for watching!
It cures the gold fever 🥵 is the main thing lol truly enjoyed the adventure...

Looked like some thick ice 🧊...
I was out there this past summer, didn’t stay long, There is a shooting range right next to it. Just felt really weird being out there with all the shots being fired
Yeah I heard gunshots too. I'm not bothered by it too much, I grew up around it. Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Man I gots to get one of those VR flight gadgets...enjoyed brother!
Yes it's definitely a fun toy. I really like my HTC VIVE if you haven't guessed LOL! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
another good attempt to find that elusive yellow stuff. Hopefully your onto something Good Luck
Thanks O&G!
Awesome video Shane! Dude, I’m gonna get a LDMA GPAA membership here in the next few weeks. We should hit up some claims... I love to shovel and pack dirt FYI 💪🤩🤘

Sure, so need to rush when having fun!
Congratulations on your find!
Thanks yeah it was pretty good! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Just a note your classifiers can be used as a grate grind it on the mesh screen lightly.😀
Thanks
Great video! Have you ever tried a Gold Magic Spiral Wheel? They work great at home and in the field, especially for a one man operation. Keep up the good work. Also a fellow GPAA member.
No i never heard of it. Sounds cool, ill have to research it. Thanks for watching fellow GPAA member! -KleshGuitars
I love my Gold Magic wheel!!
It sure works great. I use mine with both wet and dry material. Good luck to you.
for someone like me who can only get out and about for a hour or so, I get worn out easily lately. Not sure if paying that much for a membership is gonna pan out. especially since from what I can find out, they don't have any claims near me, and i'm not sure if i'm able to camp anymore. I'll be checking GPAA sites before long. Cheers!
hey man glad your breaking winters wall, it's cold and muddy in Cali. Good luck Fellow GPAA member.!

Great video, you might want to try the GPAA Husker claim in South Dakota
I've seen that one in the book and I do plan on it, thanks!
Idaho is hardest terrain that I had ever been in love the state looks promising not luck hard work Good video
Idaho would be a great place to prospect. The terrain up there is pretty great! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
you live in a beautiful county, love your vids, not just for the gold.
Yeah I don't find much, but I definitely enjoy the outdoors. That's what it's all about for me. Thanks for watching!
That was pretty impressive for a bucket's worth... go and take a look, end up with gold. :D
Hell yeah man! Good to hear from you and thanks for watching CryoGen and again, and again..!
That's a lot of Gold for 1/2 a bucket, just think what you could do with 20 full buckets of that stuff, Dam that would be worth Minning, even in the winter

Right on man - This spring is gonna be great in the mountains! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
I busted ice to get the pan in the water last Saturday but left my cameras in my brothers truck. I'm going to stay watching this channel brother. Nothing but good stuff here.
You say it's not a lot of Gold. But it's more Gold than what you had before you went out. Good yob!
YYeP!
Your poor neibour takes a beating at times. Must be your buddy.nice video!
Thanks Robin Wowchuk for watching!

Good idea - or one of those dry wash sluices i was thinking..

They've determined that a tree growing on a gold vein will have microscopic amounts of gold in its leaves etc.
Whoa thats cool. Maybe Ill go panning leaves in the fall! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
KleshGuitars the whole tree absorbs microscopic amounts. It's most prevalent in the leaves I think.
Enjoyed the video!
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
You ever bring your detector out there, check the cliffs with it?
You'll have to wait 3 days for that video - It's filmed and edited. You mind reader. Thanks for watching!
haha, can't wait !
MUDSWAT I mean, he did say he brought the detector in the video. I also can't wait to see the results.
Oh, I miss things a lot. My attention s*cks
Think I need to join GPAA.... Have had some luck at Clear Creek, but I want more gold!
Thanks for watching!
good vid I love Idaho springs area
Me too Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Cant w8 for summer to try panning gold... we have 3 feet of snow now.. and the worse time for snow is coming
That makes the summer time that much more appreciated! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Hey.. that's not bad for just a little dirt. No doubt you will have to go back for more. Like the outdoor adventures man. Also like the VR flyovers. Can you post what gear you use for that? or point me in the right direction to research it? I might want to get something like that.
Sure - It's the HTC VIVE, the computer specs are "VR READY"', which you can research with a quick google search. Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Very cool.. I may look into this.. looks like it would be fun.
It's definitely very fun
just an idea have you ever prospected around new construction that heavy equipment have dug into or close to bedrock along old rivers and streams just an idea .
I almost had a chance a few weeks ago, but I never made it back to the spot they were digging.
I have the 2014 edition as well
Great Video.... Never found much gold on GPAA claims here in California. Joined AMRA and it's the best thing I did. Look them up.
Ill look them up Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
I was a GPAA in 2006
The book they sent me had 2 pages for Colorado big disappointment for me. Is there more for Colorado now ?
Right now there are 16 pages for Colorado, from page 164-180
@@Klesh ok thanks I had 2 claims above central city 2005 /2007 got a 2" dredge started finding gold at the end of the camping season 2007 the exwife got them in the Divorce.
Would like to get back into prospecting.
In your opinion, is it worth the money to join? Not for your show but for yourself?
Awesome, glad I could help
One five gallon is pretty dang good ...
Cool video
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
I actually just got a VIVE. It's super nice 👍
Nice! Yeah make sure you get Fallout 4 VR it's such a cool game
Old creek bed cool vr and video
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
What are the rules and regs. In CO. for using highbanker or dredge ?
I don't own either, but it's allowed on GPAA claims. Not sure about other areas.. Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
KleshGuitars well let me know by your research on it.. I make an annual prospecting trip...and well..thats good for a bucket... let ya play with my 2.5 dredge/highbanker.... and..if good enough ground ill break out the 4" lol... you interested ?
I don't usually go with anyone, I use my time out for PTSD therapy so the quiet is really what I'm out there for. Thanks for the offer
What claim is this? I’m a gpaa member too but can’t find this claim
It's the one up near Idaho Springs CO
KleshGuitars from the stuff on the gpaa website all the people have said it was no good up there.
I have a claim up above grand lake you are welcome to come up with us and move some dirt. Roads open back up to the claim in june
Wow you found a really nice spot man as always your videos Rock and I'll be one of those guys you just let me know
Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Is gladly do some manual labor while you used a sluice box if we shared the profits, lol.
Bring your pickaxe, a strong back, and your "well, if we don't find gold at least we had a good time" attitude to Colorado! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
Looks like fun but beware of the guitar eating bear...haaaa
Shane, I don't know if you are still doing paydirt reviews But nifer1974 On Ebay is going to post some more dirt by end of week. Good people selling good dirt, they are from Florissant Co .
I went ahead and bought some from nifer on ebay, thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars
I posted this through my sons acc, I'am from PA and met you on CCC couple years ago. They have good dirt you will be happy ( I hope) way better than Lynch has. Love the vid's keep up the good work.
Newest video is my nifer1974 paydirt video - Thanks again for the suggestion! -KleshGuitars
Do you think a battery powered chisel would chew into that bank nice?
Oh yeah that would work great!
I have to ask, what state do you live in?
CO - Thanks for watching!
Just a random watermelon in the mountains of Colorado nothing weird about that.
I’m a G.P.A.A. member myself makes me wanna pan the yard lol
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
How do you not have 100 million view on all you're videos?
We have to do a combined video amigo also a gpaa member and have been dieing for a teammate!!
Klesh,
Brother....you are a man and prospector after my own heart...
Klesh,
Leadville is about 25 miles North of me on Hwy 24. Definitely colder & more snow in the winter up there at 10,200 feet than here in BV. Leadville is definitely cheaper as to housing costs than here in BV, which is trying to look/act now like Aspen/Breck/Veil... Randy C-17A :)
Yeah I went to Leadville looking for a place, only $900 a month! I might be headed west sooner than ya think.
Ya have to much fun lol jk wish I lived in Colorado beautiful state
It's a great place to live!
those aren't people those are bigfoots and that squash they stole out of someones garden
LOL for sure! Thanks for watching! -KleshGuitars

Fools gold is Pyrite, which I find once in a while. It's surprisingly uncommon here in Colorado. Thanks for watching!
