Watching this bring back memories of watching every new episode every week with my grandpa. Good times
You and your Grandpa - that's the real 'gold'!
My Dad and I used to watch back during the mid/late 90's. We loved this show! In 1999, we went to a GPAA outing, in North Carolina What a wild adventure!
This video is one that helped fuel my fever long ago, watched every week on TV
Thanks Bill!
@@GoldProspectors So many memories 🥰 Good and 😢 Was saddened to hear that the Buzzard passed away before I even joined the club many years ago.
I've had to give up the membership some years ago because of my marital situation at the time. My husband got to be on a show with Perry at Georgia Loud Mine 😊
I wish you folks were still making videos, they are the best!
He was the first person I saw panning. He explained panning in the video when you joined the GPAA . I have many of your Gold Fever shows. I have always enjoyed the segments that had your Father in them. He really seemed like a real good guy. You could tell he truly loved what he was doing .
Me too 😊
George, Tom and Perry, I sure miss those guys. Just not the same without them.😞😞
The Buzzard is an American Icon. He is not forgotten....
Loved watching the shows on TV. Great to go back and re visit!
Was a sad day when the Buzzard passed but he was the start and I have been hooked ever since, this will be great to watch and an awesome tribute to your father, may your pan always shine yellow
Wow congrats. You guys have came so far and educated so many. Thank you so much.
EXCELLENT ! I'VE BEEN WANTING TO SEE THE VERY FIRST "BUZZARD'S" GOLD PROSPECTING VIDEO, THANK YOU 😃 !
Glad you enjoyed it
That song, that man, your filming. Its wild for me to wven think about the impact it's had on my life. Since the shows 1st airing I have been out adventuring looking for gold. Originally on my bike as a kid in Oregon and as a teen and young adult I brought probably 100 different friends, their gals, and now their kids and there is no end in sight. How many did they show and take prospecting? How many tall tales and dreams have been spawned because of these trips? How many new pals did we meet out on the trails? Like I said, it's just unbelievable what The Buzzard gave us. It sure would be nice to see new adventures of your family prospecting and having fun but sometimes even great things come to an end. Guess I'm rambling on, anyway. $67.50 🙏
Talking about gas prices going up, oh this aged great. Probably half the price that it is now. Great video, these are always fun to watch and learn!
Thank you for showing the old shows miss the show bring it back good to watch buzzard god bless
I miss Tom and Perry.
Tom, we all miss you taking over for your father.

I miss gold fever!! I liked it so much I purchased a GPAA membership just to support these guys. I’m from WI and don’t even have any GPAA claims.
Thanks for sharing your father with us. My father also passed away in 1993.
Just like watching the show,I can’t wait to see the next episode

I swear I bought a Treasure Hunter magizine when I was young and if I'm not mistaken your dad had an article in there, either way I'm a retired Ironworker and joined GPAA again since twenty years and getting back into it. Keep playing your dads shows or let me know where I could buy all his shows
I remember watching the Buzzard in the early 90s and was I awwww of how he found gold.
Great video of the mother load thanks buzzard . 🇺🇸🙏⛏️

The song at 6:10 and the end credits.... I would pay money for. Brings back so many great memories prospecting with my dad when I was 12 years old. If anyone knows this song, please let me know.

Alright!! I Haven't Watch The Program in Awhile ¡!
Did he salt those con’s for educational/video sake .. or was that nugget and fines in that clean up pan really taken from that hole in those 2 five gallon buckets ran through his sluice?
Does he still make videos ???
And Learn From
You should have wet that dirt down before running it threw your sluice box.dry gold floats..n should breath more when talking dang
Not a lot of subscribers for a prospecting that used to be big , but i could guess why .......
Why ?
@@denyspoyner4150 the laws in place, number two not enough close claims for members, and i am a member, not only that im a federal certified surface and underground miner of mines and minerals thats A/U included, its just got everyone dis-HEARTED FROM WANTING to be a prospector, ive been a professional welder for thirty five years traveled all over the USA 🇺🇸 working on mines , thats tromels, shakers chutes belt line structures, and every piece of equipment known to man as in from a350 dozer all the way to a D11 , 777 rock trucks etc .since all the laws that are put in place that have put the squeeze on prospecting, it just makes something that used to be one of the most enjoyable hobbies a nightmare , two stock market crashes since 08 , the ones who already have claims are the ones with the billfold, people like me have been squeezed of every penny, and for instance the closest one used to be in Tennessee at cokers creek, and it is poorly outlined where you can pan , not to mention meeting people who live there that doesn't want anyone around , and im talking rude people......I could go on and on , im one of those people who like George massie believed in the American dream where you could take a shovel, a pan and maybe have a chance of striking it rich , but thats long gone ....
I'm sorely interested in how Buzzard would react to all this anti mining rhetoric thats been shoved down everyone's throat the last decade. As Buzzard said many times, if ya can't grow it, ya gotta mine it!
@@TheMadness51 yes me too.....its sad really is ....
