- Theft recovery for a friend who car had been stolen out his yard.  Thieves knew what they were doing by backing vehicle into driveway so it could just be picked up and towed away quickly.

One more thing that you might not know about I just noticed it in this video almost every car has what you call a neutral override and it allows you to put the car in neutral that way you don't have to worry about pulling them out of driveways with stolen recoveries or regular tows if its a repo hook book flip it around and gone

I thought the Chrysler would have dragged the rear wheels coming out the driveway. Surely the trans was spinning a little. Don't think that hurts anything unless u go fast like that. Lol I'd have to pull that horn relay first thing
I was going to ask, I did hear the wheels squeeling. The tires are spinning but struggling.
Were the breaks on? Looks like it, if so the wheels are forced to spin. So your calipers and pads are trying but not strong enough.
I drive Semi, now I see why they have to release our breaks. Ours are different , thing not moving you don't release the air.
Cool to see pickup can pull a car with breaks applied.
The rear wheels don't spin at all. It being rear wheel drive, he would have to go into the car, depending on what year it is, and pull the neutral override cable to put it in neutral. Then the tires can roll freely with no problem.
@@BiggHefty looked like they were spinning. Maybe the owner had it in neutral with the parking brake off... Ok I took a look for Chrysler 300. It says both rwd and awd can't be wheel towed from the front w/out neutral. Even in neutral the tow limit is 15mph. The only thing I can make sense of is the passenger rear wheel we cant see was locked and squeaking but somehow the diff was allowing the driver rear wheel to turn a little bit, but I think it was squeaking too. I guess they're designed to give a little bit for situations such as these. Best practice would be to use dollies on the rear or at least wedge skids til u can get it in a different position. The neutral override is inside next to the shifter as usual.
