Not everyone want’s a big house. Some like small houses. Just like not everyone likes having really nice cars. Not everyone cares about those kinds of things. My brother is an ER Dr. and doesn’t care about the nicest car. Same with my dad he has a pretty successful store and has older trucks like 10-ish + years old and lives in small homes. My friend who is also a Dr drives a Honda Civic. She said she doesn’t live in her car so why does she need a nice car. This guy seems like he has serious financial issues. He’s borrowing money and can’t pay his car. Apparently those are diamonds around his neck. He’s living a totally fake life and that is a little crazy and very sad. I actually feel really bad for him.

@apathy11303 They are, dummy. It's a high-end luxury vehicle. The average car note is close to rent payment and that all depends on the down-payment and the person's credit.
His cousin is financially irresponsible. Just because you qualify and can get the vehicle doesn't mean you can afford it.
@apathy11303 2020 started at like 130k and the 2024 starts at 143k or 167k depending on the package, so if you comparing to a Lamborghini then no not that much but compared to a camry or civic then it's a lot. It looks like a newer one but I also wanted to mention that a oil change in that is probably near $300 they hold like 9.6 qt of oil and most oil places have a additional charge after 5 qt and you need a full European synthetic oil for like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, range rover and most others

If he has to put himself in financial harm's way like that just to have certain types of friends/romantic interests, then he needs to reevaluate those associations. I do agree with you on the racial part though. Nobody in the world as a ethnic demo has worse credit/upward social-economic mobility/carries more debt than black folks as a result of needing to walk around with $500 in clothes/shoes with not a dime in the bank, or driving a rig that's worth more than your house or total yearly rent,. Or even more tragically: over-accessorizing a car/truck that isn't even worth anything and still won't get paid and will be repo'd with those expensive accessories still on it. Black neighborhoods are the only places where you see shops/finance companies that will let you finance rims on a leased car or 1996 Malibu SS. Stay safe out there that's a dangerous business. I was a skip tracer for 18 years at auto finance company. Plus worked total loss insurance claims and impounded vehicles. Crazy business to be in. I worked accounts from 120 days past due to 3000 days past due. All charged off accounts.
