She did the right thing by sensing the devaluation in the client’s attitude. No one should ever try to manipulate their hairdresser into thinking they are doing her a favor.
Everyday I'm getting closer and closer to throwing my phone at the wall these people are horrible and you have the patience of a saint to deal with them
Oh my God that's awesome! Vivid colors are the best and it's really cool to see a stylist who takes special interest in them, rather than stray away from them. I say having vibrant pink and teal hair as my go to colors ❤
You are an artist lol just like with tattoos, customers are canvases. If people want blonde, there are tons are great stylists who will give you a bomb blonde balayage.
Fascinating how people are willing to make someone who's going to be responsible for how their hair looks an enemy. Although you might want to make it clear on social media or Instagram that you're only accepting vivid for new clients, because it would be frustrating for anyone who's been trying for a long time only to realize it was pointless to even try.
Get a grip! Threatening someone by calling their boss is not acceptable. Plus, if you are really a follower you would know Siiri opened her own place and is The Boss!
I haven't tried this hard yet! What I mean is I've texted and called about becoming a vivid client but haven't wanted to flood the inbox so to speak, not that I would attempt to manipulate an artist and suggest I could force you to do my hair. What a horrible woman. But anyway, my hair is all virgin, chest length, and you can do any cut or rainbow or color you like! I did my own colors for 20 years and I've gotten lazy and let it all grow out but I'd love to go back to it!
@@amandamuhreewell if you fully regrow your hair and the previously dyed hair has been cut off, the hair you'd have left would be virgin since it had never been dyed or anything again.
Yes what neeren said. Since the word "virgin" is a lexical gap in our language, it's an interesting word we've chosen to describe this situation but yes, my entire head is new hair that has not been bleached or dyed. :)
I've always wanted vivid hair (since I was 15, at least) but first I knew my parents wouldn't approve, then I knew my husband wouldn't approve. Now it's my job that doesn't allow it. The minute I leave this job, I tell you, I will be going vivid. I have been waiting for too long because of what other people think.
You should get a really high quality blond wig and have a stylist do some amazing vivid color on it then you can wear it on the weekends or outside of your work hours. If it’s good quality it will look like your own hair but you won’t have to commit to it the way you would if it was growing out of your head!
@@eileenmcdonald1599 I should have mentioned he's my ex now. I didn't have much of a backbone when I was married to him. I didn't dye my hair then because he would have incessantly made fun of me. He was a jerk.
Even if I went ito B*tch Mode with someone being completely honest about their situation I would NEVER want to be successful in getting them to do anything for me or to me after flexing on them! People are so stupid. Well done, @TheREALSiiriParks , for standing strong in the face of that kind of rude stupidity! ❤🌹❤🌈 🌈🌈🌈🌈
Karens have gotten way too comfortable with being allowed to abuse people and watch them be required to do it with a smile. I just know you'll empower stylists to do the same. We just need big businesses to follow suit so those struggling financially aren't humiliated on a daily basis just to keep their jobs.
😂 She followed her for months, and doesn't know she is the owner.😂 I would have bagged for a one time appointment. But this...Audacity is exactly what that is. Unbelievable
Why would you talk to someone who is going to do your HAIR like that? Why would you talk like that to ANYONE with whom you’ll have to have any kind of working relationship with?
How did they not know you were gonna be a salon owner when you’ve said it in so many vids lmfao! And also like if they watch your videos why did they think they were gonna get any other reaction from you? So silly
Do you make it clear on your advertising that you only do unnatural colors? If you don't, you probably should, it might at least thin the numbers of people who want natural colors calling you when they're not your target clientele.
What if it was a fancy restaurant and they chose to open early one morning a week for the chef to showcase cakes? Would you get angry when the chef refused to make you pasta at that special cake session? You can't get in on any other day because reservations are full for months, so they should do it for you, right? And those people who like cake... ugh, they're so entitled! How dare they want cake when you need pasta!
Thanks for explaining with an analogy and it makes me see where you're coming from. I also acknowledge the attitude of the client here is not the best. But my POV was that a) it wasn't presented/marketed as such as a special event like in your example and the explanation is only given when the client starts arguing so the explanation was lacking which does make it sound entitled/discriminatory. B) this also seems like a more regular thing vs your example. If you wanna make special clients a regular thing then market it differently
I wish I had the funds n the way to get to you. I want to do some new vivid colors in my hair and I have no one to do it. I do not trust the salons anywhere near where I live to do it.

i am so beyond sick of people using the word “discrimination” incorrectly.
Right up there with everyone having ptsd and trauma.. not saying that people don't but sometimes it's just ridiculous 🙄 😒.
Well technically it is discrimination. It's just that discrimination isn't always wrong. It's just a choice.
@@swankelly discrimination by definition is inherently unjust and based in prejudice. refusing service is not discrimination.
You don't know the meaning of discriminate

Nope never waste your time on these people. They can go bother others

@Arionlappy yeah an odd word to use for hair! I guess my hair is "virgin" also! Haven't box dyed my hair for 12 years
Wow, the attitude of some people!
Also, yay for vivid clients! *swishes bright red & purple hair* 😉
Well damn!!!! I guess I might have to switch to a vivid color!! But who knows, it might be fun 🎉
As someone who basically only does vivid colors now... It's a lot of fun. 😉
True LIBERTY!

I want vivid colors!!!!! 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ I'll travel!! 😝🙌💜
i’d be really sad if my favorite hairstylist went ”nope” on doing my hair..although i wouldn't be rude or threaten them like this
If you are rude to the workers, you will not be a client.

If I were you, I wouldn’t have told her I was the owner. Just wait until she calls the owner and tell her then lol😂
I'm vivid but in MN

Siri,
Did you really open your own salon ? Or is this another re-enactment from the trials and tribulations of the industry. I hope it's the former.
