I am luckily not bald and it's not that hard of a project. It's probably not the bEst, but I am grateful and satisfied with my self care.
successful people don't become that way overnight .most people you see as a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..
He does look like hes an exceptional hairdresser and to be able to do celebrities hair and charge the amount he does means he's doing consistently good work. I myself wouldn't pay that amount regardless of how much money i had but obviously some would.
I like how him being busy is part of the reason people have to pay so much. 🤣 Her hair really did look nice when they were finished but who really has the time to do all that curling and blow drying every day to keep it looking like that? Her bangs looked better how he styled them IMO too.
Most people could do this at home in 4-6 hours. If we're going to get mathematical I'll break it down: $10 (one tube of professional color) $15 (hair lightener) $7 (hair color developer) $3 (small bottle of scalp protector) $10-20 (hair/body oil to protect hair during service, and prep the hands for a manicure and pedicure) $10 (hair accessories like clips, pins and etc to use during service) $10 (salon cape) $2 (hair caps) $20-50 (professional manicure/pedicure kit) $20-40 (nail polish kit, e.g. nail color, base coat, top coat, cuticle oil, nail hardener) $10-75 (face oil kit) $10-30 (cotton, disposable makeup applicators) $20-50 (salon shears kit) $75-100 (professional hair dryer with attachments) $40-100 (professional curling and flat irons) $50 (hair protector products) $30-50 (aromatherapy misting kit) $10-50 (1 bottle of champagne 🍾 or any other drink, depending on personal tastes) $75-200 (1 hour massage) Grand total (on the pricey side) is $900. If you use budget and price point products, you can bring it to $700. Perhaps you can split these costs with friends if y'all decide to do a beauty in day at home. Just remember proper sanitation should you go this route. In the end, you have to decide if saving $200-300 is worth it for you. People spend good money on cosmetologists and estheticians for a reason. No one likes to be out of $1K, but some careers call for this level of maintenance like actors, performers, high-level executives, strippers, and anybody else who depends on their looks for a living. Also, it takes more work to look like you did nothing to your hair and skin than achieving a more dramatic look that is unsustainable in the end. That's where you need to use math to figure out the perfect colors to use to enhance one's natural features and skin tone. I speak from personal experience. Doing a soft hair lightening (on myself) with combed in natural highlights, ends trim with haircut, and deep conditioning is a two-part process that can take 4-6 hours split over a few days. And I'm a natural kind of girl. If I was more high-maintenance, we'd be looking at 7-10 hours of work split over a few days (I do have to work $$$ to make it all happen). If she is happy with her softly natural results, good for her! In the end, it's the experiences that are imprinted in your heart ❤️. 💇♀️✂️
I don’t think people realize his skill though. As a currently only men’s barber, there’s a lot of things you’ve actually got to know when it comes to guys hair, let alone women’s hairstyling. There’s specific techniques, directions, angles, shapes, and looking at the bigger picture you’ve got to be aware of at ALL times during the cut. Knowing the outcome before hand is one thing, knowing how to achieve it is another. It’s a craft, not as deeply difficult as a surgeon, but none the less difficult because not only do you have to be aware of the clients taste, but also how’d it would compliment their character, their face shape, their skin tone(dyeing hair), it’s a lot of experimenting and knowledge that you have to know of. Overpriced? Maybe. But these experiences are what sets them apart from the normal service. If you’ve got the money, why not? I don’t see people complaining when others buy expensive vehicles that would do the same as a 04 civic. It’s perfectly fine that businesses set lavish prices, as long as customers feel pleased

Eddie W why would you want to do that?
He's a con artist, yea. He got his own way with words and flattery.
Agreed he makes people feel special and making it "an experience: not the actual service basically just hype.
No one cares about your opinion
Rich people have money so they can spend wherever they want
@@vibsc Nobody cares about your opinion either.
He’s a famous stylist, and you’re essentially alone with 10 staff giving you a makeover and massaging you...it’s the same with celeb restaurants in LA charging 4k a meal for a private dinner
🤣🤣🤣🤣👎
me: i need a pay raise
my employer: why?
me: because i have very little time
I just got a hair cut by my sister who ACTUALLY went to school and has her cosmetology license and it was free.99
Maybe because it's your sister and she wouldn't charge you..
7Lawaneeena
Yea, but still, a lot of siblings have a love-hate relationship, so she probably would have charged her if she was another person..
My 👵 has been cutting my hair for the most longest time for free too she has her own salon.
Tip your sister >_>
Absolutely no real logical reason why this or any haircut is $1,000.
Shiera Grant He charged per hair...
He doesn’t have time.
Him: “ i never went to school but I am good at math”
Me: 🤨
I’ll bet that $1000 he doesn’t have a clue how to properly cut and style curly hair.
Mona S. Agreed!!
Sadly very few people do. I have curly hair and I can't find the right products in my country either so I normally shave everything off.
By the looks of it, he does know how to cut hair. He's doing graduation and that takes a lot of practise.
i can't tell you how many hairdressers have tried to brush my hair DRY
Hermione Jean Burton you are dumb the originla creator of comment said CURLY hair
"like I never went to school but extremely good at math"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mohan vaidya right?!? 😂😂😂
That line had me quite concerned! I wouldn't trust someone with a pair of sheers to cut my hair who never went to school.
Not even hair school???
The math he's good at: $1000 × n = $$$$$
As someone in the industry (i'm an esthetician) it's interesting to see people who have just -okay- skills able to charge so much. I think it's mostly their attitude??
It's the entitlement of an average white man
So, would you have to tip him $200?
GAWD! I hope not. Probably, would have to because it's customary?! GeeWiz. I do my own haircut and color, because of the expensive luxury of the salon is out of my budget's price range. I am luckily not bald and it's not that hard of a project. It's probably not the bEst, but I am grateful and satisfied with my self care.
The haircut itself isnt even worth half of that lol
From what I’ve been told, a tip is not expected if the owner of the salon is doing your service.
1K gets you champagne, new haircut and compliments from a very busy guy who looks like Roberto Mancini
We have to remember that his idea worked. It may be underhanded but he's making the big bucks. We should learn from him.
damn. $1k for her hair to look just as basic, thin, + lifeless in the end as it did in the beginning. poor girl.
Ehh it looked a little better. Not worth 1000 dollars though.
@@a726h9 the curls only lasted like a week lol
I could do that
@@alejandraobregon6431 it's not a perm, she probably washes her hair at least once a week.
Don't feel bad. Her boss likely covered it for her as part of her assignment. S/he'll likely write it off as a business expense
Boys: pays $1 to look different
Girls: pays 999 quadrillion dollars to look the same
😂😂😂
mood
I'm sure this is paid by guys too...
Salon can’t get the money from the man directly. They charge it from their women, even more. You are welcome.
Not me biatch

Hair cut price
Champagne: 15$
Hair cut: 10$
Compliment: 200$
French accent:775$
She paid for the dude's french accent.
He does look like hes an exceptional hairdresser and to be able to do celebrities hair and charge the amount he does means he's doing consistently good work. I myself wouldn't pay that amount regardless of how much money i had but obviously some would.
he literally just gave her emo hair
how is that haircut emo
Lol 😂
Its not emo. Its girl next door
She already had emo hair, he didn’t really do anything but style it like Farrah faucet, idk how to spell her name.
Hahahhahahah
3:45 *_"i was never went to school but i'm eXtRemELy g0oD in math"_*
Hm? U sure bout that?
I think he means hair school
Well I'm at school and still bad at it
he said math, not english. plus he figured out how to turn 0 effort into $1000 i think he figured out that math quite well....
I tapped this video so I could go to the comments and laugh at her.I have no life.
I like how him being busy is part of the reason people have to pay so much. 🤣 Her hair really did look nice when they were finished but who really has the time to do all that curling and blow drying every day to keep it looking like that? Her bangs looked better how he styled them IMO too.
😕 doesn't busy means he already has appointments. He's a celebrity hairdresser u can't expect that to be cheap
I need some Brad Mondo after this-

Mondo just does the bob look on EVERYONE and call it a make over. Or suggesting going blonde
@@ashperez72 ill admit he seems pretty repetitive nowadays, but he's fun enough to watch.
Most people could do this at home in 4-6 hours. If we're going to get mathematical I'll break it down:
$10 (one tube of professional color)
$15 (hair lightener)
$7 (hair color developer)
$3 (small bottle of scalp protector)
$10-20 (hair/body oil to protect hair during service, and prep the hands for a manicure and pedicure)
$10 (hair accessories like clips, pins and etc to use during service)
$10 (salon cape)
$2 (hair caps)
$20-50 (professional manicure/pedicure kit)
$20-40 (nail polish kit, e.g. nail color, base coat, top coat, cuticle oil, nail hardener)
$10-75 (face oil kit)
$10-30 (cotton, disposable makeup applicators)
$20-50 (salon shears kit)
$75-100 (professional hair dryer with attachments)
$40-100 (professional curling and flat irons)
$50 (hair protector products)
$30-50 (aromatherapy misting kit)
$10-50 (1 bottle of champagne 🍾 or any other drink, depending on personal tastes)
$75-200 (1 hour massage)
Grand total (on the pricey side) is $900.
Me: Asks for a raise because I have "very little time"
Her haircut looks like the haircut of Donna’s mother from that 70s show
That's what I thought too!!!
That is SOOOO true!
How funny, the truth I find it just as I was alone with more flattery and happy with so much champagne
She’s just paying for *experience* , not the haircut. Her hair literally didn’t change at all. 🤷🏻♀️
quite embarrassing for her to feel so good about nothing.
Hit like if you agree ,
"IT DID NOT WORTH $1000"
She now looks like she is a character in 90-s movies
I'm completely covered in hair, so I imagine it would be really expensive if I tried to get a haircut
Not if you go to the dog salon

Hi. My uncle is a hairdresser, so I get all my haircuts for free unless it’s for a school dance or a wedding or a big change. Then he’ll charge me fifteen bucks.
If I asked him to do what this guy did to the lady’s hair, I’d get a haircut for free
