      @@LucasMessore what guitar would you recommend for someone trying to play in drop c to drop A#
      I bought a ESP LTD Ec 1000 baritone and you would think it would sound great in Drop A# but even after a set up, it is buzz city

    Hey good stuff man! I think the guitar seems great, and would love to get a multiscale 6 string, which I wish was more available from mass-produced guitar manufacturers! My only gripe is that the guitar looks so bland and overly "simplistic" for that price point (If that makes sense?) if I were to spend that kind of money on a guitar I would have liked for it to look a tad more eyecatchin yaknow?
    That being said its definitely a personal gripe of mine and nothing else

      totally get it! it's pretty nice but def simplistic

    I kinda want one of these with bareknuckle pickups and set it up for drop B

      @LucasMessore  5 месяцев назад

      same! I wish it wasn't multiscale though, not comfortable IMO for regular riffage.

      @@LucasMessore I felt the same way with my strandberg for a while but I got used to it and now it feels great. I just can't look down with any degree of concentration or else my brain starts to get messed with seeing the frets fanning instead of all being straight.

    Great video. How would you say this stacks up against the misha juggernaut ht6

    • @LucasMessore
      @LucasMessore  Год назад +1

      Oooh good question. That's a close call but TBH I've only played Misha 7 Strings, two different Indonesia models. I would definitely say that for me personally I'd avoid Fishman Pickups and Multiscale on a 6 string. I've played some amazing Misha 7s and some not so great but if I had to order one or the other right now I'd probably get a used misha and put BKP Ragnaroks or Juggs in it. Also I remember liking the older version of the misha model, interestingly the new caramelized maple necks look amazing but the D shape is not for everyone. Let me know if that helps!

      Why would you avoid a multi scale on a 6 string?

    • @LucasMessore
      @LucasMessore  Год назад

      @@d77sauce doesn’t seem like the low strings are low enough, and the high strings high enough to warrant needing it. But perhaps it helps tone. It’s also awkward feeling for riffing. I’m warming up to it though. On an 8 string it’s great. I was also surprised that the jackson with multi scale was not as easy as i had expected to set up in drop B

      @@LucasMessore ah all great reasons. I absolutely love the idea of a 26.6 scale 6 string but only Reverand guitars makes them as far as under $1000. I was thinking of switching to Multiscale but I think I get what you're saying with the 6 string. It's an inch fan across 6 strings so it feels more dramatic. On s Strandberg it's like 24.75-25.5 so it's barely noticeable on a 6 string.

    • @d77sauce
      @d77sauce Год назад +1

      Meant to say 26.5 Scale in reference to the Reverend guitars.

    The only reason I could see having a fanned 6 would be maybe if you play B standard or lower....at that point get a baritone dawg lol if you're THAT afraid of 7 strings

    • @LucasMessore
      @LucasMessore  Год назад +1

      If I was playing drop B or lower I would go baritone for sure, still need to get my hands on one of those. I dont think the multiscale handles tuning that low super well tbh, which was a surprise. 7 string of course great but can be cumbersome if you just need riffage

      @@LucasMessore the Ibanez RGD21 is a pretty slick little baritone. 28 inch scale and it's spec'd pretty decent at about $850. Definitely worth snatching up if you're going 6 string baritone. (Good luck finding one in stock lol) necks pretty chunky though but for obvious reasons imo
